Overall Thoughts: this volume as a whole was different but not captivating, it started ok, book two was AMAZING, but book three was a flop, I felt like it was written for the sake of writing, a lot of things didn’t make sense, it was abrupt and still left things unanswered.

~The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea~

This is such a unique way to approach Greek Mythology, I have never read a Poseidon retelling. This is my first one and was really interesting.

This story follows Ashley & Poseidon, she was in a yacht but due to some things that happened, she dives to the ocean and passes out, she is found by Poseidon and he decides to keep her.

So I didn’t like Ashley, she was so immature and I couldn’t connect with her thoughts, her actions and the reasoning behind her actions, I wanna believe that every stupid thing she did was her survival mode on, but I don’t know.

Poseidon at first was mysterious and dark but then he became really hot & cold about his actions and feelings, I don’t know how their relationship will go forward after what he did to Ashley.

The pace and world building of the book was ok, I do hope we get more action in the other books, drama and adventure.

~A Deal with the Devil~

”On a scale of one to a disaster, I’m an apocalypse.”

The quote above pretty much summarizes this book. It was a roller coaster of emotions, so many secrets, betrayal and angst. I gasped so many times from the middle of the book until the end.

I cannot say much without spoilers, so Poseidon in the beginning is still undecided on how to act about what he feels towards Ashley, this book was more on the lower paced side because the it was more focused on their relationship for the first half, then it gives a 180 and a lot of shit starts to happen.

~Devil May Care~

This book was so unexpected. I’m not sure how I feel about it tbh

Poseidon was a complete asshole for the whole book, he made justifications for all his actions but never apologized and hoped Ashley would stay. I wanted to slap Ashley for her to get some self esteem, she defended every bad action Poseidon did to her.

The ending was so abrupt that it was really unbelievable, we saw this whole chasing for Ashley, the US government got involved, and it all stopped and got resolved in 2 pages?? Like WTH

The only thing I liked was the epilogue, it was cute, and thats about it. A lot of things were left unresolved.

ARC provided in exchange of my honest opinion.

This book is intense and dark. Poseidon the captain of a ship at sea is a tortured  hero. His hostage Ashley is an indulged heiress and in his attempt to put her at arms length he punishes her but she's actually into that. Soooo.. if you are into that I've got a book for you!

There's a huge family dynamic back story for both of them and a treasure hunt too.

These two are off the charts steamy!!

I need to read Zeus and Hades stories but I wasn't lost having read this first.

Thank you  valentine_pr_ and ameliawilde for the e-ARC for my honest and voluntary review.

What a captivating and tumultuous conclusion to this passion-filled, dark and intriguing trilogy! What started as an obsession with a gorgeous cover has led to my consumption by this captivating mythological reimagining- the god of the sea and the love that brings him to his knees. This trilogy is full of action and feels- the epic conclusion picking right up in the thick of Ashley and Poseidon’s new uncertain reality- one fraught with loss and emotional tension as they navigate these new proverbial waters, leaving the pirate god without his ship, tethered to dangerous enemies that will require a unique force to defeat.

Our story begins in a turbulent, melancholic emotional fog- and I really loved how Amelia slowed down her normal breakneck action pace to have us really drown in the feelings of loss and uncertainty. This is so much more than the loss of a ship- this is about the loss of identity, about stripping a man bare, loosening his tether to the sea to expose him fully. Amelia presents this leg of this story with such emotional integrity and intensity,
With a woman who refuses to let him fully drown beside him. Of course, midway through, the pace accelerates- all the nail biting action, gripping suspense, and the passionate, erotic desperation that Amelia so infamously writes.

At the core, though, this story harkens to what made these legendary myths so profound- the power of our own humanity in face of the greatest adversity and the indomitable power of love. Their love may be depraved and carnal, twisted and perverse in places, tantalizingly turbulent- but it is unconquerable. A love that launches a thousand ships...or here, a love worthy of sacrificing one, one worthy of unleashing the heart and soul of a tormented man . Ashley and Poseidon fight for each other until the bitter end, and I was hanging on every word.

Fans of the prior two trilogies will also appreciate the opportunity to dwell just a little longer with the other couples that have twisted your mind and captured your hearts as well as see some beautifully scribed and emotionally impactful moments of brotherhood- brava for such full circle closure. A epic, albeit bittersweet, end to this passionate take on the mythic legend.

I mean who doesnt love pirates?????
Reading a modern pirate story is so awesome and Poseidon is no disappointment!
He is a man of the sea, hates being on land, and has never been soft until he finds Ashley floating in the water after she escapes a horrible tragedy. Right away he feels something for her. Deciding to use her status, he ransoms her. Things turn grim when Ashley's father turns out to be more than they both bargained for, and now Poseidon has to decide if he can give her up. Suddenly he has found more than the sea to love. Of course, he has a dark past, being a foster brother to Zeus and Hades. I love how they are coming together as a family at last - just beautiful after all they have gone through. Ashley is a strong young woman and finds out how much she craves this complex but strong man. Their chemistry is sexy and I like seeing how she heals him in so many ways. Yes, he is a jerk at first but once he drops his toughness and finds his soft side, Poseidon is a dreamboat!
This book includes~
~ Lost at sea situation🤿
~ A man who has a um, very sexy piercing ( I loved reading these parts hehe )
~ Good pirates and bad pirates🏴‍☠️
~ A modern day pirate island
~ Some abuse / assault triggers
~ Hot hot hot passion 🧭
~ A search for pearls and missing secrets

This story quickly captures your attention when Ashley has jumped from her boat to get away from the danger present there and is at the mercy of the ocean with nothing but a buoy to keep her afloat. Poseidon stumbles across her lifeless body and rescues her.

Once he’s gotten her settled aboard his ship, he learns who she is & decides to keep her captive. Ashley refuses to be held against her will and tries many times to escape.

This story was interesting but really didn’t hold my attention. I had trouble with Ashley and Poseidon’s dynamic thru the entire book. I just didn’t feel a true connection between them. Granted the spice is hot at times, but the chemistry was lacking.

My main interest was on the side characters and Poseidon’s backstory. I was really invested in Hades, Zeus, Demeter, Cronos, etc. I felt let down when the ending was rushed and there wasn’t a conclusion with his sister
Demeter.

4.5 STARS for the series

This trilogy is a unique, modern retelling of the ancient gods + Of Poseidon.
The story is so beautifully written I loved the flow and ambience so much.
The vibe and tone captured me and swept me away into their world. Much like Ashley is captured by Poseidon.
It started out strong and intense and ended in a very satisfying way.

I’m in love with this author’s poetic writing and also with the incredibly adventurous, original and naughty sexy times. I love this melding so much.
So very sexy and well written.

I went on quite the journey with Ashley and Poseidon.
There’s incredible angst and plenty of emotions.
There’s hot, super steamy chemistry between them.
There’s BIG romance and spicy interactions.
The suspense and drama kept me captivated and on the edge.
Poseidon is of course very alpha and over the top in all the yummy romance ways.
Ashley is a great match for him, she’s the calm to his god level storm.
Both are smart and emotional characters that balance each other.
There is a feeling of uncertainty and mystery that added such a great layer to the story.
It’s such an original story that worked so well for me.
I love this world, the characters and their very intense journey.
I LOVED it!
And the bonus content in the trilogy is a wonderful peek that’s so worth it.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

A hard wind. Salt on his tongue. The endless night. Those are the things Poseidon wants to find as he climbs to the deck. He doesn't expect to see a dehydrated young woman clinging to a read and while buoy. He rescues her, but he's no savior. She's an heiress. Valuable if he holds her for ransom. And why wouldn't he? He's hunted treasure all his life. Except once he's had a taste of her, he's not sure he can give her up. A modern-day Pirate with a dark past. A fierce young woman with secrets of her own. And the adventure of a lifetime.

Such an amazing three books in one collection. I loved ever word on every page and it will be a story that I will read again many times over in the future. I love a great pirate story and this one is absolutely amazing.

The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea:
I'm going to go ahead and warn you that your not going to put this book down once you pick it up and you will be through before you know and and wanting more. This is the story of Poseidon and Ashley. Ashley is a rich girl who lost her mother when she was kidnapped and held for ransom and then killed. Now her father is way overprotective and only lets her go to all girls school so when her boyfriend asks her to go out on his parents yacht for spring break she lies and says she is with her girl friends. However her boyfriend has a drug problem and when dealer come onto the boat and do horrible things Ashley ties her self to a bayou and jumps in the sea. Poseidon is a man who loves the sea more than he loves life. He also is in some shady business but on a restless night he knows that something is off and sees Ashley floating in the sea and saves her life. But, then he finds out who she is and decides to keep her until a price is paid for her.

A Deal With The Devil
We finished the first book with a big thing happening. Now they have an even bigger threat than that and it comes in the form of Ashley's dad and the reason why just broke my heart. I literally wanted to hurt that man bad!!! We also get glimpses of Poseidon's past with this foster father Crono's and he is equally as horrible in a different way. My poor Hades!!! But now we get to see the relationship with Ashley and Poseidon really take off and you also get to see the rest of the guys interact with her. There are secrets revealed and the end of the book really tore my heart out. I about died along with Poseidon.

Devil May Care
This is the last book. I am so sad about that as I have loved spending all this time with Poseidon and Ashley. If you have not started this series then you need to begin with The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea and then A Deal with the Devil. Then you will be ready for Devil May Care. This book picks up where book two ended and we find that Ashley and Poseidon are on land on Haven Island. A place that has its own rules and everyone is safe and sound unless someone decides to break that rule and then it is every man for himself. He is building a new ship. But as you can imagine a pirate on land is not a very good thing and Poseidon is feeling that down to his very bone and is about to lose it. The man can't even sleep and all it ever does is rain. That alone would drive me crazy. But you know that he has a relationship with the sea and when he goes to her he is able to stop the rain!!! He is trying to get his crew all to the island and the new ship is taking forever to build. But there is also danger lurking and this danger is not good at all. We also get Hades and Zeus in this book and I was so happy to see them again. It has been to long but Poseidon has lessons to learn about family and they may just teach him what that means. And then there is the quest that Poseidon has been on to put back together his passed on moms rosary. Can he do it. If he can't what will happen? Will Ashley stay with him or will he push her away?

This book is amazing and I loved every second of it and was more emotional about it than I thought I would be. Do not miss this series. You never will know if you love a modern day pirate or not if you never give him the chance. Posidean is well worth taking the chance on. Once he steals your heart you will never ever get it back.

This is one of the best trilogies I have ever read. The tension is the KILLER, the plot is fast-paced, making this book a page-turner par excellence and unputdownable. And the characters ... SWOON-worthy!
Poseidon and Ashley's story is EVERYTHING! ♥ ♥ ♥

THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA
Wow! This is possibly the most exciting book in Amelia Wilde's universe of modern retellings of the Greek mythology of the gods. A page-turner par excellence!

This book took my breath away, a little more with each page turned.
Poseidon is one of the most intense characters I have read about. Ever. Just reading about him had me constantly on edge. He's scary and exciting, a woman's alpha male dream and worst nightmare ever, all at the same time.
And Ashley? I loved her, too. Her bravery and good heart are so sweet.
Ms. Wilde has a way of describing torn emotions that is unique and draws me into her stories like a starving person to food.

A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL
This book ...
It will leave you drowning in a sea of emotions, in an emotional chaos that keeps crashing down on you like waves, threatening to pull you to the bottom of the sea.

Poseidon and Ashley's story picks up where it left off in "The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea", the first installment of "The Devil Trilogy", and it only gets more intense, more like a romantic thriller than ever before. It is mind-blowing, it is breathtaking, it is ... I'm at a loss for words!

It made me gasp for air and hold my breath at every turn. My heart was in my mouth ...
Gah ... this book is everything I expected .... and so much more!

DEVIL MAY CARE
I didn't think Ms. Wilde could top A Deal with the Devil in terms of suspense. But she did. SHE. DID. IT!!! I literally sat on the edge of my seat, holding my breath and chewing my nails, because the tension was the KILLER! My heart is still beating erratically as I write this review and WILL NOT CALM DOWN!
Poseidon and Ashley's story is so heartbreaking it caused me physical pain ... My heart broke into tiny pieces because of all their drama and grief.
But in the end, Ms. Wilde put it back together, as she always does, and healed all the pain and turned it into pure happiness and joy!

Devil May Care is the more than worthy, brilliant conclusion to one of the best series I have EVER read!

ZERO
Zero is the intriguing glimpse in the future ... a preview of the next generation, a foretaste as addictive as any of these trilogies in this universe ... Hades, Zeus and Poseidon’s stories.

THE PIRATE
By Amelia Wilde

This is the opportunity every reader of Author Amelia Wilde’s Poseidon’s series wants; all three books in one with a look at a new series on the horizon.

In The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea we get to spend time with Poseidon, the brother who we’ve seen make cameo appearances in other series. The brother who left, the brother who rescues a damsel in distress, a modern day Pirate who could step right into history and would fly the skull and cross bones proudly. You can’t help love the push and pull and emotional tension between Ashley and Poseidon and you will love the adventure they are embarking on in book one.

In A Deal With the Devil we watch as Poseidon and Ashley embark on an adventure that one could only take with our favorite Pirate. Surrounded by those who want his prize (Ashley) we get to see how this man can out maneuver any foe that threatens him, his beloved ship and his prize.

We learn so much about Poseidon, Hades and Zeus. How they grew up and why they are or were the men that we see in each of their series. Sometimes I wondered how they lived through what they did. This book is full of action from fevers, to pirates and so much more.

The Devil May Care shows readers how much the sea influences Poseidon. His years on the sea where he is always comfortable, makes it hard to deal with being land locked for now. So much happens in this book and emotions for all the characters run high. Add to it outside forces and his brothers still by his side, we know that the ending of this series will be epic. With every new series this author writes readers get adventures and stories they will never forget.

The Future brings us a new Hero and young woman with her fathers eyes and her mother’s beauty. Add in over protective uncles and cousins we get a sneak peak at an upcoming series and by the very big smile on my face when I finished looking into the future, I know this authors followers and readers are in for something of Olympic proportion.

Does Amelia Wilde ever disappoint? The answer is a resounding NO! The Pirate puts Ashley and Poseidon’s story in one place for your reading pleasure. This love story takes us on a very haunting, heart wrenching, and dark ride. But, as she does so well Amelia delivers the angst thru an older, dominant anti-hero who finds his hands full with a feisty, in need of help, young lady who will bring calm to his world. Besides rocking it in all the best ways. This book is a stand-alone, however, Poseidon has a couple of brother’s Amelia has written about. And, not only do we get them, another book boyfriend makes an appearance, PLUS she includes a snippet of a WIP that brings us the next generation. I mean it is sexy overload. Amelia sweeps us up in this gritty world and delivers such a beautiful tale.

Ashley, beautiful, rich and on spring break with her boyfriend. When her boyfriend is killed as she watches from the shadows she decides to take her chances with the sea. She wakes up on a strangers ship.

Poseidon, lost his mother as a child and was raised with his foster brothers and sister, by a literal monster of a man. His life has been on tragic experience after another, but he finds some peace on the sea.

Rescuing Ashley sets both of their lives on a course neither one could have dreamed up.

Ashley learns the hard way that Poseidon truly is her only hope. Poseidon learns that he isn’t as alone in this life as he imagined.

RTC but if there a book who’s trope are more made for me than this one then I don’t think I have found it yet. This book just had so many of my favourite elements when it comes to books and I just adored how everything was done. This book just worked perfectly for me and I loved it. Sadly, I was a little less into the last novel in compilation of three novels, which I was really sad about because I just wanted to love, but I absolutely adored the first two novels in this one, and they absolutely made the book for me. I just had the best of time reading this one and I just enjoyed it so much.

I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest opinion

Amelia Wilde delivered an epic boxset with Poseidon’s story. Hades and Zeus own my heart but Poseidon, the pirate that he is, stole it right from his brothers. Ashley and Poseidon have such a tumultuous journey and I was there for every minute of it. I was caught in their net—hook, line and sinker. The steam, the chemistry, the action, all of it made for one amazing trilogy! The cherry on the sundae was the bonus scene. I’m all for it and can’t wait for Hercules and Daisy!! Bring it on!

**received arc for honest review**

Amelia Wilde is a fantastic author. The Pirate contains the entire Devil trilogy in a single volume, making it an excellent binge-worthy read. This features Poseidon and Ashley, as well as Zeus and Hades making cameo appearances. The difficulties that these two have to overcome are astounding, and it only serves to increase your admiration for them. Ashley's self-posture and her attempt to be brave in a foreign environment are both remarkable.

What an amazing collection that you don’t want to miss. Ashley and Poseidon’s story is off the charts steamy, all consuming read and will have you glued to the pages to see where it all goes. They are breathtaking together and will take you on the ride of your life. The bonus content alone is worth getting this collection.

Outstanding

I love this book. There is supernatural occurrence, fear to love, pain, abusive behavior and relationships, evil and hate. You will love the relationship Poseidon has with the sea. There is a strong but strange family dynamics between boys to men then brothers that appears to be hurtful. The lovemaking is off the chart and intense. You will love the name of the brothers, Zeus,Hades and Poseidon, each are gods with supernatural powers. The story is fast moving with a little of old mixed with the present day time. You will not be disappointed by selecting this both.

I really enjoyed this trilogy! I think having them all combined made it a bit long for me, but still very enjoyable.

I wish we got a bit more from the side characters, bc I felt they did seem to just pop in and out without having too much of a story. I thought Poseidon and his brothers were very interesting characters, but Ashley wasn’t a favorite of mine. I felt like she fell a bit flat and I wanted more about her.

Overall, I loved seeing the modern day pirate adventures and tragic pasts. A lot is going on, so not a light read but enjoyable.

Wasn’t really into this one. A lot of cruelty that I just couldn’t forgive. The chemistry between Ashley and Poseidon didn’t overcome the toxicity. I know that’s intentional to some degree but it just didn’t work for me.

Was nice to wrap the brothers up and allow a proper reunion. I’d argue that was the best part.

Overall: 2.7/5 - I just really wanted to finish and escape this because my heart wasn't into it.

Beautifully written. Seeing the three brothers become real family together was the best! The peek at what is coming next in this dark poetic family saga, is really exciting. I can only hope for more, more, more from and about them, so original and captivating. Amelia Wilde excels at weaving heat, lust, wild action, love, magic, and more in every book involving these characters.

This is an amazing boxset. This trilogy is one of my favorites of ANY book that this author has written. I own and read these stories individually but had to reread them because Poseidon and Ashley are life and because I knew that there was bonus content at the end of this boxset that couldn't be found anywhere else. I knew it would be couldn't but I had no idea that it would be THIS good. April seems like forever away before this bonus turns into a book.

The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea
Holy Crikey,

I said no one could surpass Hades. Then I met Zeus. I then said no one could surpass him. I should have known better than to even issue that challenge because Poseidon just put those two men to shame. Each book in this modern retelling of mythological characters is even better than the last time, and I am not just talking about the characters themselves but rather the fact that the storyline itself seems to have gotten better.

This book has all the suspense and mystery that the first series had but, for some reason, this one felt different. There was more depth in the story itself. The details elicited emotions and had me nervous about the outcome. The book starts out with a bang and what I thought was happening was not at all what I thought. I liked that the author was able to do this and keep me guessing as to what the true motivations were behind the character. I felt the palpable fear of Ashley or even her excitement in other cases. Poseidon, good lord, this delicious man. Modern-day pirate? ALL the YESSES. Why isn't this done more? It gives the whole capture a captive new meaning.

Hands down my favorite that this author has written. It ends on a whopper of a cliffhanger and I need part two of this trilogy ASAP.

A Deal with the Devil
4.5 stars

The more I read from this author, the more I fall in love with the way that she creates a story that captures my attention from the first paragraph and keeps it until the last one. I have not been shy when it comes to spreading my excitement about Hades, Zeus, and Poseidon. There is something about each story that makes them unique and enticing. However, there is something even more charismatic about Poseidon that speaks to me differently than his brothers.

This book gave more of a backstory of Poseidon which in turn gave more backstory about his relationship and childhood with Zeus and Hades. My heart hurt for them as children. This background made me love them all that much more, and also made the current scenes have that much more impact. I liked the cameos that were in this book. It showed an additional layer in their characters.

There were quite a few twists and turns in this story that I wasn't expecting. I liked the connection between Ashley and Poseidon and appreciated how much they were growing, together and separately. The ending of the book had me feeling everything that these characters were experiencing. I look forward to getting more answers in the final book. I didn't think Hades could be topped as a book boyfriend, although Zeus was close, there is just something special about Poseidon and I look forward to his heart finally finding peace.

Devil May Care
4.7 stars

From the very beginning, of the first series with Hades, I have been a huge fan of these trilogies. I love them all for different reasons. However, Poseidon was the one that managed to truly steal my heart over Hades and Zeus. He was special. His story was special and this conclusion was perfect for him.

As abrupt as Poseidon could be at times, he had just as many moments where his vulnerability showed. One of the things that I had wanted since clear back at the beginning with Hades, was a chance to have a better understanding of what had truly happened in the past that brought them to now. There were glimpses and parts but finally, in this one, my questions were answered. My heart hurt at what happened and the individual repercussions that it had on these brothers. I had wanted these brothers to truly find peace in their lives but also with each other. Each time they would interact or have a phone conversation, I found myself smiling and giddy with joy. The author gave me more than I could have hoped for in regard to the brothers and in this book.

The author continued the story with just the right amount of suspense and action. The continual build-up between Ashley and Poseidon was also intense. I loved how much calm in Poseidon's day-to-day living that Ashley offered him. There was a depth to their connection that I loved. She instinctively understood what he needed and how to go about offering him that. Their steamy times were fire and Poseidon definitely lived up to being a dirty bossy man.

My only complaint with the story was I wanted more finality when it came to Demeter in the story. Especially, with the way that some of the backstories came to light giving reasons as to why she has behaved the way that she has through all three of these separate trilogies. Other than that, this book was everything that I could have wanted and more. I had no doubt that the author would do that though because since discovering her work, I have become a huge fan. I am anxious about what she has hinted will be next.

I can't say how freaking excited I'm to read a modern pirate story. This one had flavours of dark, going into the unknown, some twisted romance and a ocean that can be as life giving as dangerous and together with a band of pirates that have secrets they don't care to share.

Ashley is out on the yacht on a holiday with her boyfriend. She's the modern day heiress what with being the only daughter of a teach tycoon.
Even though it seems like her life is perfect but internally she isn't really happy nor with the man who she calls her boyfriend and as well as her so called friends and even the life she has.
She feels that yearning of wanting more from life.

What she never saw coming was having to survive on her own in the choppy waters and being rescued by a mysterious handsome stranger.

She needs her freedom and on deck even though the crew is good to her and Poseidon, her mysterious handsome stranger might be hot and cold but also seems to be wanting her and her life to be safe, yet she wants to be free and go back to her life.

I was so into this one, the writing made me feel as if I was actually on a huge vessel surrounded by waters on all sides. I could why Ashley feels that pull to Poseidon yet doesn't want to dive into it completely.

Poseidon might be wanting to keep her safe but my my when he does let out his animalistic urges out, oh my, Ashley didn't stand a chance at all. And Poseidon is definitely the Sexiest pirate I've read till now.

That ending has me all scared. Especially with all the twists that were coming left and right and then that ending just left me wanting more. Loved this one.💕💕💕

Tumultuous, Emotional and Unpredictable ride ahead 💕

This series is making me feel like going out on a ship and sailing. The feels are so beautiful and realistic and paired with the twist filled romance of Poseidon and Ashley just makes this oh so filled with deliciousness.

The way the previous book ended I was really angry with Poseidon and the way he does things to Ashley. Even though be had reason to be angry yet he takes it too far and I so didn't want Ashley to give him a chance or to forgive him.

But this book gives us Poseidon's pov from when he was young and what experiences and things he went through that has shaped into the mystery that is him.

It made me feel for him and his suffering becomes real and meaningful and it sort of made sense of his behaviours and his personality.
I loved how even though we get a glimpse into young Poseidon yet there are still so many things that are a mystery as to why he does certain things.

Also, I have to say I so didn't see the twist with Ashley coming and it just added more difficulty to everything.
But also I feel it gave a chance for Poseidon and Ashley to come more closer to each other.

Ahhh.. The unrestrained Poseidon was just something else. The way he is with Ashley, his gentleness combined with his hot roughness... I was fanning myself seeing their chemistry for sure.🔥🔥😍😍

The ending was so devastating and out of the blue and I'm equally feeling so much and so scared after those happenings, how will it all affect Poseidon and Ashley. I so can't wait to find out. Loved loved this one. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

𝔸 𝕊𝕖𝕟𝕤𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕝 𝕗𝕚𝕟𝕒𝕝𝕖 𝕥𝕠 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕤𝕖𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕤 𝕠𝕟 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕤𝕖𝕒 𝕗𝕦𝕝𝕝 𝕠𝕗 𝕒𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 & 𝕥𝕨𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕤 & 𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕥 🔥😍

AHH... I can't believe this is the last book in the series as I've become so close to Poseidon and Ashley as they took me on an adventure unknown on their ship on the ocean waters.

After that heck of a shocking ending in book 2, I didn't know how Poseidon was going to react as what happened not only destroyed his one of the most important possession but also what made him breath and remain at peace.

But now it's all chaotic as Poseidon is in an violent emotional state and Ashley is doing her best to be there for him and at the same time coping with her own loss.

Things are so fast happening in this one where all the enemy forces not only gang up and Poseidon has to face off with them but also an unknown threat hovers nearby unknown to all.

Not only did Poseidon and Ashley have to fight for their life but also there are emotional battles fought and their minds struggling to remain sane.

I had a freaking blast with this one especially. I loved how his brothers, Zeus and Hades come for him and don't let go. I loved how we see Ashley even in her simplicity holds onto Poseidon and doesn't let him go. How she fights besides him.
I especially loved that twister at the end and my heart was just so full and happy for Poseidon.

This one was definitely full of out of the blue, in your face twists, full of emotions and oh so freaking steam. Poseidon and Ashley sure did lit my kindle in flames even as they were hurting and yet coming apart in each others arms. Ahhh.. What a wild ride. Loved loved this one.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Wonderful/Great

Emotion filled with a mythological name Poseidon is drawn to the sea, Ashley is there by circumstance, her rescue and kidnapping. The story is emotional full of angst and heartbreak.

This trilogy is so dang fantastic. I love Hades, but dang Poseidon gives him a run for his money practically knocked him out. 🤣I am completely drained. I love these two and the connection they have. It is stronger anything imaginable and no one can take them apart. Ashley is his home and is the one who can keep him steady. Amelia weaved a story so gripping and exciting. She has made me want to yell at Poseidon while simultaneously wanting to jump him.
Devil and the Deep Blue Sea: I have been wanting Poseidon since meeting him in Hades’ trilogy and Amelia exceeded my expectations with him. Poseidon and Hades have always been my favorites of the Greek Gods and it’s no different with these books. Poseidon is all alpha an an a** to boot. Ashley is a rich girl, but she is sweet and also tenacious. When Poseidon “rescues” her, she feels safe until she finds out his true intentions. Poseidon claims to have only one true love, the sea, but Ashley is weaving her way to his heart. Will he end up pushing her too far and lose her before he realizes the gem he has found in her? Amelia has once again hooked me with her third God. Another great start to another trilogy. I am so ready for A Deal With the Devil. Bring it on!!
A Deal With the Devil: I absolutely love Poseidon. I was so mad at what he did to Ashley in the first book. I wanted to beat him, but he has started to redeem himself. This series is so dang good and gets better with each book. There is action, deception, choices, twists that tore me apart and some hot as heck scenes. Amelia keeps outdoing herself with each book she writes. She has ensnared me with these Gods. In this book Ashley grew as a person. She was the spoiled little rich girl. Poseidon also grew, he started opening up to Ashley. His walls started to crumble and he realized he would do anything and everything to keep Ashley, even giving her back to her father. The ending totally stopped my heart. That is all I’m going to say on that. There are some flashbacks that show more of what Poseidon was dealt from Cronos. My heart just broke all over again seeing what they all dealt with, except Demeter, the lying, heartless b****. It was great seeing how Hades and Zeus are doing. I cannot wait to read Poseidon and Ashely’s final part of their story. I need to know what happens between them.
Devil May Care: Oh My Gods and Goddesses! Amelia knocked the finale of Poseidon and Ashley’s story out of the park.it deserves more than five stars. She has had me hooked on these Gods since Hades. This last book in this trilogy took me all over with my emotions. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to throw my kindle across the room and curse at it. I have a big book hangover. The things you find out in this book will tear at your heart. Ashley has grown so much in this last book and she is standing next to Poseidon no matter what. My heart thumped so loud during this book.
Do not, I repeat do not miss out on Poseidon and Ashley’s story.
The extras were perfection and I loved meeting Hercules.

The Devil in the Deep Blue Sea Book #1
I've already met Amelia Wilde's first 2 main men Hades and Zeus so I was really looking forward to the 3rd brother Poseidon's story!! The Devil trilogy really starts out full of action ready to pull you in and down into the never ending turbulent story! The hero and heroine meet by chance out on the open sea. Ashley floating on a buoy she's barely holding on to, after she jumped from her boyfriends yacht to save her life from marauding pirates. Now healing on Poseidon's ship The Trident, Ashley finds herself being drawn to this massive, tattooed, incredibly sexy pirate. Fighting with his own demons from his painful childhood, Poseidon also fights the feelings that stir deep within. This story gives you glimpses of the 3 brothers and their tormented past. Poseidon's story will bring you action, despair, incredible steamy scenes and all the raw emotional pain you can tolerate. He's is larger than life and completely drew me in hook, line and sinker! The cliffy was EPIC and I have no idea how Poseidon will redeem himself.
A Deal with the Devil Book #2
The chemistry and heat between Poseidon and Ashley is electrified. I loved the way Amelia Wilde continues to wow me with her addictive words! Book #2 delves more into Poseidon's tormented past, what made him into the man he is. Heart breaking tales of a cruel and unfeeling father that wrecked havoc on Poseidon , his 2 brothers and sister, forever damaging them. I enjoyed watching the relationship between Poseidon and Ashley evolve. So many giant hurdles to jump, so much pain to heal, eventually hoping to find their way back together.
The Devil May Care Book #3
This third installment of Amelia Wilde's The Devil Trilogy finds our couple in a dark place. Ashley still grieving the loss of her father and coming to terms with the awful man that he was. Poseidon trying to function living on an island instead of his beloved Trident ship while waiting for a new ship to be built. The constant threat of danger keeps our couple and crew on edge.
I loved the chemistry between Ashley and Poseidon, well written intense sizzling scenes and deepening feelings that soon have them completely surrendering to each other! This book had me totally immersed, addicted and desperate for more. I really love Amelia Wilde's writing and definitely loved the way she brought this amazing series to a close. I am really going to miss Hades, Zeus and Poseidon. They all three had come from such a dark and sad beginning and had fought their way to the top as true heroes do! I enjoyed their bigger than life stories and highly recommend them to all!!

Amelia Wilde is always a one click author for me. Her love stories are always full of so much emotion and spice. She writes the best antiheroes, and I loved Poseidon and Ashely’s love story.

The Pirate is a box set of Ashley and Poseidon’s trilogy including The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, A Deal with the Devil, and Devil May Care. It also includes bonus chapters for an upcoming story about Hercules and Daisy!

Ashley is the daughter of a technology mogol. She is on a yacht trip for spring break with her mediocre boyfriend when the ship gets taken over by some dangerous people. They kill her boyfriend and she narrowly escapes by jumping into the ocean which is where Poseiden finds her dehydrated and sunburnt.

Poseidon is a pirate who has a connection with the ocean. He is drawn to it so much that he gets land sickness when he is away for too long. He is the Captain of his ship, and is fair but ruthless. He has never entertained the idea of a relationship. He believes the sea is his one true love. Poseidon is extremely damaged, a little toxic, but full of unexpected love. The moments where he shows vulnerability are heartbreaking but swoonworthy. Poseidon never allowed himself to dream about a future with a family. He gives Zeus and Hades a really hard time about settling down. Meeting Ashley makes him question what his future could bring.

Ashley never imagined herself with anyone like Poseidon. She also has her own demons to work through that we learn more about as the story goes on. She doesn’t make it easy for Poseidon at first. There were times when I wasn’t sure if they would make it. However, once she realized that Poseidon was it for her, she selflessly loved him and fought for him. Hard.

This story has so many unexpected twists and turns, but my favorite scenes were when Poseidon was interacting with his brothers. The banter was hilarious, and I loved watching their relationship grow.

Also, the bonus content! Ah! I don’t want to spoil anything, but I can’t wait to read more about Daisy and Hercules!

The Pirate is the complete trilogy of the adventure-filled love story between Poseidon and Ashley.

We first met Poseidon in Zeus' trilogy (Richer than God, or the compilation novel Owned by the Billionaire). Unlike his brothers, Poseidon has always struck me as a bid teddy bear that's rough around the edges, i.e. his heart is soft under his rough exterior. The seas calm his restless heart, and he has a sense of humor which comes out at inconvenient times for our heroine, Ashley. Her grit and courage to take risks and to take on Poseidon make her a worthy challenger for him.
The first book in the trilogy focused on introducing us to our heroine, Ashley. The second book revealed so much more about our Hero, Poseidon, and his relationships with his foster father, Cronos, and his (foster) brothers, Hades and Zeus. In the first two trilogies which told his brothers' stories, we didn't have the full story of their upbringing together so I'm glad Poseidon is filling in the blanks as that part of his story is told through flashbacks.
Guilt and trust play major roles in this book because of a ruthless act Poseidon committed to teach Ashley a lesson. We see Poseidon as a formidable leader to his crew, a cunning planner with his first mate, Nicholas, and as a gentler protector to Ashley. Since the story is told from a dual point of view, we know the internal struggle Ashley battles over whether she can trust Poseidon or her growing feelings towards him, especially when he goes hot and cold on her.
As they are coming to terms with their growing feelings, an unknown danger lurks on the horizon. Circumstances force them on land for an extended period of time which has Poseidon feeling trapped and restless. Ashley's not sure how to help Poseidon but she remains steadfast by his side.

I thoroughly enjoyed Poseidon and Ashley's love story because of the adventure their romance takes, and the full circle we achieve with tying in his childhood. The bonus chapters beyond the final epilogue provide a glimpse into their future!

Devil and the Deep Blue Sea

Amelia Wilde has done it again With The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, delivering another amazing read full of dark, mysterious and flawed but beautiful characters. This book was an enticingly dark and delicious read that I could NOT put down! I couldn’t get enough of Poseidon’s cruel sensuality. He is so dark and mysterious but I can tell he has a heart of gold under all those many layers of ice. I think he is going to be my favorite of the three brothers. Ashley is the perfect match for him and just the woman to bring him to his knees. This book made me laugh, sigh, swoon and almost throw my Kindle after that shocking ending.

A Deal With the Devil

Oh Poseidon, how I love you even more after reading this wild and turbulent story. This captivating book is an emotional thrill ride that will you will never want to be over. I loved every word of this book, Poseidon is still his yummy alpha self and we get a look at what made him into the man he is. Ashley finds her inner strength. The chemistry is still intense and sizzling between the pair. I can’t get enough of this couple!

Devil May Care

Devil May Care will capture your heart and not stop squeezing until that beautiful, bittersweet ending. This story is full of action, passion and gut-wrenching emotion. Poseidon is floundering and will need the help of all his family if he wants to survive. I loved this book the most of all. The emotion overflows from the pages. I will miss all the characters so much and hate to see them go. This was the perfect conclusion to a fantastic series!!!

Zero

I loved this intriguing look at the next generation of this family that left me wanting more. The kids are growing up and getting into all kinds of trouble. I can’t wait to read more about Daisy and Hercules. I think their story is going to be so hot and steamy and full of suspense.

The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea:
Oh my deliciousness! Poseidon has moved to the top of my book boyfriend list! Talk about a dark, twisted, captivating stay up all night and read story. I loved the way Amelia Wilde writes because she brings the characters to life and with each steamy page I turned I wanted to jump in the book and move Miss Ashley out of the way. After that cliffhanger I desperately need the next book in this fantastic series. I definitely recommend this author and her writing to everyone who loves reading about sexy alpha males and strong, beautiful females.
A Deal With the Devil:
A Deal With The Devil is book two of the Devil Trilogy and it picks up where book one left off. I recommend you read the first book in order to fully understand Poseidon and Ashley. If you read book one then you know how great this trilogy is. With every page I turned the story pulled me in and after that cliffhanger ending I can't wait to read the next book to find out how Poseidon and Ashley's story ends.
Devil May Care:
Devil May Care is the third and final book in the Devil trilogy and I definitely recommend you read the first two books in the series otherwise you will be lost. Poseidon and Ashley's story picks up where the cliffhanger left us in book two. These two go through a lot in the final book and I was on the edge of my seat with every delicious page turned. This is an intense, action packed story filled with family drama, danger, suspense, steam, and twists that had me turning the pages and reading nonstop until the last page. I absolutely loved Poseidon and I loved how Ashley's character grew stronger despite everything they went through. As sad as I am that this series of trilogies has ended I can't wait to read the next great series by this amazing author.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
