Siege Series #2

Twisted Rage

Rate this book
The conclusion to the Dark Romance Siege Series!

This isn’t how our story ends.
No. This murder we’ve just committed?
This is how our story truly begins . . .

I told myself I was going to save her.

I didn’t realize what a lie that was.

This neurosis has sunk in too deep. All it took was one glimpse of another man inside her for the beast that murdered Barnard to finish consuming me.

I’ve turned her into killer.

Just like me.

With every corroded, toxicity-infested sin laid bare between us, all that’s left is revenge.

And the chasm of diabolical need that tethers us.

A need to consume each other.
A need to make our enemies pay.
They stole seven years from us. Every ounce of sanity we had left.
Now, we’re going to steal everything from them.

Most of all, we won’t stop until every single one of them is dead.

I told myself I was going to save Lexi . . . in reality, I’ve finished ruining her.

And she would have it no other way.

Warning: this series is not for everyone. As the story progresses, dark themes are explored that might be a trigger for some. Please read at your own discretion. Definitely 18+.

Systematic Siege - ★★★★★

What do you do when you finally reunite with your true love, only to find out that the people who separated you in the first place worked diligently to keep you apart and tormented you, mentally and physically, in the process? Well, if you're anything like Andrew and Lexi, you take matters into your own hands and have your enemies rue the day they ever crossed you. Torture would be too kind and death is too easy. Together these two are going to make sure their tormentors get exactly what they deserve.

When you get to the end and realize that it could have gone darker... when you think that the villains could have gotten even more of the darkness unleashed on them... when you feel like Andrew couldn't have been sexier than when covered in blood... you recognize that this author really gets you!

If you love a taste of darkness and stories full of sex and thrills, then you're not going to want to miss out on the Siege Series. N. Isabelle Blanco gives us touches of danger and mayhem and romance, grabs your attention right from the start, and leaves you begging for more in the end. If stories about vengeance tickle your fancy like they tickle mine, you need to one-click NOW!

I could've lived happily without reading the 2nd book, if it hadn't ended on such a cliff hanger I might have never picked it up. It is riddled with spelling and grammatical errors. Random things like "two-in-a-half" really started to aggravate me after the 3rd or 4th time. Besides those things that I know don't actually detract from the story itself, it was just odd. I liked the idea and the flashbacks to the time when they were apart, but it just seemed like a different book from book 1. All of a sudden it's talking about nanobots and chemical warfare. It wasn't overall difficult to follow, but it just seemed like my eyes couldn't stop rolling.

Final book5 of Systematic Siege series. Could probably skip the 1st 4 books (maybe read book1 for brief romance intro) and just read this book. Not safe (rape by h by others, cheating of h with H, H&h sex after/during killing). This is a full-length novel & not a bunch of novellas like books 1-4. Reads more like romantic suspense.

3.5-stars

The GOOD: ***SPOILERS***
Tightly-written & straightforward, giving us all the relevant details that were danced around books#1-4. Good emotionality. Lots of angst (i.e., h regretting not asking H re: the sex video 7 years ago, h's regret @ trusting the wrong people, H's years-long & desperate search for h so he can explain re: his false confession & to just to be with her). Also gritty from H&h's vengeful satisfaction at seeing their enemies die & tortured @ their hands. Good detailed sex scenes with H&h FINALLY(!) having sex by 9% of this book. Some might be put off by H&h's smexxing right after their kills. Or, in 1 instance, while H's ex-GF lay dying while watching H&h smex.

Good character development. This book tightens H&h's loose/iffy characterization in books#1-4. Getting details of their past really helped with this. Both H&h went from normal hormonal & not-so-savvy teens to calculating & computer-hacking vigilantes who loved & killed for each other. h transformed from helpless & clueless 18yo to a blood-thirsty vengeful & controlled 25yo lead computer-coder & nanotech inventor. H's grew into the calculating & vengeful 25yo man from bottoming out from his suicide attempts with alcoholism + drug-use due to his desperation to find h & blaming himself for her leaving him & likely hating him from what she thought he did 7 years ago.

Loved H's OTT stalkery obsession with h & the lengths he went to find her, forsaking his mental & physical health and finances. He spent 2 years hacking into various computers to find her whereabouts & waiting for her to contact him while becoming alcoholic & then doing drugs later to fill her absence in his life. He later attempted suicide 2x, after he concluded that she must hate for him what she thought he did to her. Also loved his OTT protective-possessive jealous “mine” claims over her.

MEH or the BAD:
Timeline in this book is inconsistent with books 1-4 (i.e., books 1-2 states that H was 19yo when he started drugs & then went to rehab 6 months later after his 1st suicide attempt with his car crash but book5 states that H was 21yo). Thus, somewhat confusing if you keep track of exact time of events. HATED detailed rape scenes with OM & OM2! But both got their painful comeuppance they deserved at the end at the hands of H&h. Didn't like nor did it make sense that H went back to manhoing after his 2nd suicide attempt, when he realized that he wasn't giving up on h.

Sexual History:
h was still a virgin when H1st kissed & the oraled her. BUT she was devirginized via rape by H's friend OM 3 years later, after pretending to be her friend. OM blackmailed her for subsequent sex the next 4.5 years to keep her mom (who he'd injuected with a virus) alive. She often fought him & he'd beat her up for it. Her 2nd lover was a co-worker who she had sex only 1x just to see if she can have non-rape sex. h's 3rd lover was from rape by OM2. H became h's 4th lover. H was a manho in high school & cheated on his then-GF who also chated on himmany times. H became celibate for about 2.5 years after the night with h. Then, after his 2nd suicide attempt during his drug/alchol-rehab, he manhoed the next 4 years after he realizing that h likely hated him if she ran from him again when he found her location & stopped looking for her then. Sex became his new addiction.

WTF DID I JUST READ....... SWEET BABY JESUS......... HOLY HADES....... N. what the hell did I just read??? OMG where to start with this review without giving away anything because this is one of those series that you MUST read. I just cant say enough about this series but the conclusion had me picking my mouth up off the floor because I was in shock.

Andrew and Lexi have been kept from one another for a long time. They fight like hell to get back to each other and when they do and find out the truth of their separation they are on a war path and they have decided they are going to make everyone pay for their lies and betrayal. Man oh man when I say make them pay I don't mean straight out killing I mean some serious mind effery and torture and much much more.

This story is dark and disturbing and has some triggers so it is not for the faint at heart. So proceed with caution and jump up on this series and one click it because you need this story in your life!

Triggers: Mention of rape, drug usuage, Alcohol addiction & Suicidal thoughts and attempts and a mention of incesturous of a side character's past.

Twisted Rage picks off where book 1 Twisted Heartbreak ended off and I gotta say the revenge plot of this book was dark amongst other things and you get in vivid detail of what Happened to Lexi about seven years ago so if you can't handle the rape trigger then don't start this duet, but if you're okay with it then I highly recoomend you start this series right away. Before I go I just want to say that this book brings Andrew and Lexi even closer to one another in ways not many people would be okay with but nonetheless it was still a pleasurable to read if you like dark romances that are really dark in nature. And if you decide to give this duet a try then by all means get it now...

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Dark, disturbing, twisted but strangely entertaining and filled with suspenseful moments, Twisted Rage will keep you turning the pages until the very end.

Twisted Rage is the second and final book in the Siege series. It picked up from where Twisted Heartbreak ended. After the shocking end of book one I wondered at the route the story would follow in the sequel. Blanco took the reader on a journey of revenge that is definitely not for the faint of heart as there were disturbing and twisted events.

Andrew and Lexi set out to make the persons, who orchestrated their separation and worked assiduously to destroy their lives, pay dearly. They will do whatever it takes, be it via murder, torture or destruction of their cushy life to ensure their enemies suffered.

This is a story where the protagonists and the antagonists are cut from the same cloth. It was just a case of who was crazier, deadlier and more determined. Of course my bet was on Lexi and Andrew. They suffered a lot at the hands of their enemies they deserved justice.

Andrew and Lexi's love for each other overcame many obstacles. Despite all evil acts perpetuated against them their love for each other never faltered. However, it noted what they shared fell in the category of unconventional. It's said that there's a thin line between sanity and insanity. I do believe their quest for revenge had them crossing that line.

Their actions created an highly explosive and twisted story with a satisfying end. This review was originally posted on Totally Addicted to Reading

Regardless of what I read from this author, I am always surprised. ALWAYS. Even when I tell myself that she cannot write anything that would shock me. In each and every book she bleeds the words that her characters are demanding that she pen down giving their voices the chance to be heard by the masses.

The stories are not pleasant. They are extreme and even when they tell a story of love they also tell the story of how it comes in many different forms. It is not all sparkly unicorns, cotton candy, and flowers. Often, it comes from something ugly and demented and shows the importance of persevering through the underbelly of darkness.

This is the conclusion to Systemic Seige and continues the story of Lexi and Drew showing what power, greed, and money had previously kept apart and what horrendous and tumultuous events had occurred while they were separated. It is hard to read at times. It made me uncomfortable in the same breath that it added an element to the story that made it that much grittier and titillating.

These two survived and in doing so they grew from it. Without revenge, I am not sure that either of them would have found the fortitude to come back together and truly heal. They needed to right the wrongs, and after seeing the whole story I do not blame them. Also, pure angry sex also helped them. This story would not have been complete without some of the most intense balls to the walls pure unadulterated sex scenes because what doesn’t make a person feel better while in the midst of seeking revenge and retribution than to have a release ... or two? Seriously, this author can write steam that can make even me blush and I DON’ T BLUSH.

Be warned, this is DARK. If that is not your thing or it makes you uncomfortable then I implore a person to read something else. I look forward to what this author writes next.

My goodness, I feel like I've been deliciously put through the wringer. Like I've got a straight jolt of continuous adrenaline to the heart. Like I've watched a Fast & Furious movie. This author got my heart rate up and my emotions on overload as I devoured the ending of Andrew and Lexi's revenge tale.

Blanco keeps he thrills coming a mile a minute, digging deep into betrayal, violence and obsession that carries this couple right to the brink of insanity. Insanity that is their drug of choice, and it only brings them closer together. We get answers through the book, with brilliant use of flashback. My heart ached for this couple, but you have to ask: are they doing the right thing? Is their quest for vengeance going to ultimately destroy them? To Blanco 's credit, you never assume a happy ending as they spiral out of control. You also begin to wonder just how much of their quest to burn the world down around them is based on something in themselves or the brutal acts that were done to them. These characters continue to question themselves, and it's the only thing that just may save their souls.

Lexi and Andrew will remind you of Romeo & Juliet, and I don't know if this was on purpose or not. There is so much madness involved in their relationship since they were children that you can't help but think it might just end tragically. The fire that burns between the two lovers is so intense that I was anxious. Blanco rips emotion out of you as the reader. She has just as little mercy as Andrew and Lexi. Blanco insists the reader to heavily invest in this story, making it brutally easy for me to submit. Her words hold power in this story, making it deeply unforgettable.

Where do I start I couldn't put this book down, I absolutely love drew (Andrew) his love for Lexi consumed me he has the scars to prove it, what he went through not having her in his life literally broke me,
I love a strong heroine Lexi is amazing the years of abuse she went through and then blaming herself for it when she finds out drew was innocent and to come back fighting always amazes me. I was sorry to see it end we always want more when we fall in love with characters I highly recommend this book it will not disappoint you I can't wait to read more from this author

Twisted Rage by N. Isabelle Blanco is book Two in the Siege Series. This continues the story of Andrew and Lexi, so you should read the first book 'Systematic Siege' before reading this one to fully enjoy their story. This book picks up where we were left in the last book. Lexi and Drew are dealing with finding out what and who tore them apart. Revenge is the first raw thought and want to bring to justice. Emotions of what they missed and what they want come through too. This is somewhat dark romance, but I have been enjoying their story and will look for more from this author.

The absolute insanity of book 1 is tripled in book two. I don't think I've been left on the edge of my seat just waiting for the next big explosion in a very long time.

Think DIE Hard!

Lexi has found a way to let her darkness out and it is only matched by Andrews darkness. These 2 are absolutely made for each other. The both of them being Morally fucked is my new favorite trope.

His insanity and her darkness are just absolutely perfect And then being crazy together is the stuff of literal dreams

(I definitely recommend you look at the TW)

There was a lot that happened in this conclusion and it's difficult to put them into words... we see more of the horrid abuse Lexi went through during her 7 years "in hiding" from Andrew, and we also see more in the self-destruction mode Andrew went through in his search for Lexi.

Don't know why but I keep getting Mission Impossible vibes when I read this lol all that talk of nanotech, company espionage, undercover agents ...

Twisted Rage is the dark conclusion to Andrew & Lexi's story, and man was it seriously twisted (yes I meant the play on words) LOL! I know there are going to be triggers for folks but as for me?! I have to say that I was okay, and maybe just maybe got some ideas for revenge against evil (I'll never tell LOL). This couple didn't start out insane but things which happened to them really did a number on them so sky's the limit at making sure those who hurt them are stopped (wish they could take out certain dictators murdering innocent people). There's a lot of heat in the pages but I don't know that everyone will appreciate some of the sexy times as they could definitely be listed as triggers so please please take heed at the warnings. I'm doing my best to be vague because not only do I not want to give anything away, but I also don't want to give spoilers for the previous book which YOU MUST READ FIRST! I'm not going to lie, I LOVED this insane couple's story so if you are as dark & twisty as I am, go on & hit those one click buttons since I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Drew:   This isn’t how our story ends.
No. This murder we’ve just committed?
This is how our story truly begins . . .

Lexi:   A need to consume each other.
A need to make our enemies pay.
They stole seven years from us. Every ounce of sanity we had left.
Now, we’re going to steal everything from them.

Twisted Rage by N. Isabelle Blanco is Book 2 in the duet, you have to read Book 1 Twisted Heartbreak.

Just like Twisted Heartbreak, Twisted Rage blew me away immediately.  Book 2 picked up exactly where book 1 left off with Andrew and Lexi. In this part of the saga we get all the dirty details of what happened to Lexi.  We also get the whole story about what Drew went through as well. It ain't pretty at all...

The darkness within them rises up, the insanity for revenge is greater and be prepared for more intense and deadly moments. Oh my goodness what a ride. The angst continues tenfold, their anger is at an all time high, the passion between Andrew and Lexi is off the charts. Let's not forget the hot, dirty and visceral seggy scenes. Lastly there's some exciting action.
Absolutely fantastic read

Definitely a hit series Ms. Blanco cant wait for what you got next...

First things first, these two are absolutely insane and so so perfect for each other. Drew and Lexi have so much darkness inside of them thanks to their pasts but together that darkness is absolutely volatile, exploding in such a way that ruins everyone who wrongs them. They're fueled by vengeance through the need to hurt anyone and everyone who has wronged them, especially the people from seven years ago who kept the two apart. They live for one another, especially when they're watching their significant other become thoroughly unhinged, and they would die for each other.

I adore books with obsessive and possessively unhinged characters and this book hit all the spots. I loved seeing the two help each other overcome their trauma and pain throughout the years. Drew and Lexi deserve the whole world while their enemies deserve to rot in the lowest level of hell, and I'm glad they finally got the ending they all deserve.

When I tell you I’m obsessed with this duet. I don’t lie, I’m freaking obsessed with Lexi and Drew. They’re the definition of great mcs, funny, hot, sexy, and dark.
This book start of where the last one ends, something just happened, so Lexi and drew have to be allies to survive this. I feel like this book is darker, hotter than the first one. And I live for this.
When you read twisted rage, you feel the love they have for each other, they’re so in love, and because of a mistake from the past, they lived appart for seven years of their life.
Like I said before , this book is hotter, sexier and hotter than the first one, Lexi is definitely claiming her man, he’s hers and no one else’s. They’re is a scene that I can’t forget, she sucked him in front of a corpse (I won’t say more, you have to read the book to discover who’s this unlucky person 🫣).
Overall, Lexi and drew together are undefeated, their love is so beautiful, pure and dark.

This duet became one of my fav, and I can’t wait to read more of Nyddi’s books.

Thank you to GP for this arc.

Book two of Lexi and Andrews story. These two were basically made for each other. They both have been to hell and back and lived to tell about it….barley! They were finally able to tell each other what they went through the last few years without each other. And boy did they each have a story to tell. Do these two love each other more than getting revenge? Do they truly have and answers to all their questions? This was a intense read and a major emotional journey. There was so much going on in this book. Andrew and Lexi were both ruthless in their pursuit of answers and revenge. The characters had amazing depth and a insane connection. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Wow, I have no words, I am totally blown away!! This is the second book in this phenomenal series, and concluding Lexi and Andrew’s emotional roller coaster journey which carries on straight from where the first book ended. This story tells of the horrendous events which Lexi had to endure in the 7 years they were apart. This is not for the feint-hearted, so be warned about triggers! This is a well written flawless story which is dark, intense, and passionate, with angst and vengeance. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more from this exceptionally talented author, whose work I recommend for those readers who enjoy the unexpected.

Dark, demented, depraved and dangerous. The continuation of this series is for readers with serious deprivations. This calls to the monster within who rejoices at payback. I gloried in the justice that was meted out by Lexi and thought of by Andrew. What a sick and wonderful thing the mind is. I can't wait for more.

Mortal Siege is book two in the Seige Series and the conclusion of Andrew and Lexi's story by N. Isabelle Blanco.

Andrew Drevlow FINALLY has his girl back and together they are ready to unleash on all those who stood in their path and tore them apart years prior.

Whereas in Systematic Siege, we were shown glimpses of Drew and Lexi’s past together as teens when they had found they’re way to each other only to be torn apart by vindictive greed.

In Mortal Siege we get a deeper look into not only the present and the destruction and pain they are unleashing on all those who wronged them as well as Lexi learning the truth about what really happened all those years ago.

We also get to see to what ends Andrew went through in his search for Lexi and the downhill spiral his life took without her, along with the pain and torment Lexi was going through at the hands of Stephen during that time.

I thought their story was heartbreaking before but now, it was truly a travesty and there are no two characters that belong together more. Drew has an almost unhealthy obsession with Lexi but, what’s love without a little obsession right? 😉

One by one Andrew is taking out those who wronged them, but he’s saving the best for last. Andrew wants to take everyone and everything that Stephen has until he’s left with absolutely nothing and then THAT’S when he will deliver the final blow to bring him down once and for all!

Again, in Systematic Seige we saw glimpses of what Drew had planned for Stephen and Kaylee, well in Mortal Seige he and Lexi finally get to put those plans in motion. If you thought what he did to Barnard was brutal, you haven’t seen anything yet!

I loved this duet! The first book was really good and usually, I always like the first book better but reading Mortal, things got a whole lot hotter between Drew and Lexi and a whole lot more gory as they took out their enemies one by one, together.

Andrew and Lexi are both a little unhinged but they’re kind of crazy works together and reading it all play out, was absolutely magic!

Systematic and Mortal Seige were my first books from Isabelle’s but after this duet, I’ll be stalking everything so stay tuned for a lot more reviews of her books!

I can’t wait to see Shell…I mean Spector get his story and find his “Lexi”, and I’m hoping just maybe that we will get to see a bit of Lexi and Drew and what’s going on with them again sometime soon…babies and marriage? Sounds pretty good to me!

If you like your alpha to be a little on the crazy obsessive side, a whole lot of steamy, revenge, and some gore, then this is the duet for you!

As soon as i reached the end of Twisted Heartbreak, i started looking forward to this second installment! I picked it up and got back into the Siege world quickly. I enjoyed this second book!

Andrew and Lexi's journey continues! I wasn't sure how everything was going to play out for these two this time around and that had me into their story even more.

Once again, this story had me on the edge of my seat! Throughout both installments i went through such a range of emotions with these characters and i so enjoyed that.

With Twisted Rage, Ms.Blanco has created a good and dark continuation! I'm looking forward to more from her!

There are triggers in this duet and it is dark.

I have been reading this author for a long time now and she has always been an amazing story teller-able to transport her readers into the world of her characters.

Mortal Siege is the second story in this series and it had been a while since I read the first, Systemic Siege. So I re-read the first book before starting this to help me reacquaint myself to Lexi and Drew's story.

Systemic Siege gave us hints of what happened in the seven years that Lexi and Drew were separated. Mortal Siege picks up where Systemic left off and we are given the harsh and often heartbreaking truth of what the two characters went through.

I am not going to lie; there were parts of this story I wanted to skim through, but I didn't. It was tough reading what both Lexi and Drew experienced in those seven years because they weren't pretty. Both of them went through their own personal hell and it took everything they had to dig themselves out of that bleak sinkhole in order to reclaim their lives back.

Their revenge was their redemption: I honestly don't think Lexi and Drew could live their lives without taking care of those responsible for what happened to them. They would never have found peace and those people would forever be in the periphery trying to destroy them. Working together to bring their enemies down brought them together, and I believe, helped them to not only put the past behind them, but to find the forgiveness and acceptance they needed.

But this story isn't just about revenge. At the very heart of it, this is about Lexi and Drew, and the love that never faded even when it seemed as if it would be better for both of them to just let it go. It's about a love that is addictive and destructive, and yet also redemptive and reverent. And once they find their way back together again, they protect that love at all cost-because they knew the price they and their love ones paid.

Of course, I can't NOT talk about the sex scenes in this book! It's hot and dirty; passionate and visceral; and can be argued that it borders on obsession and addiction. Yet, underneath it all, there's an underlying sense of worship and adoration between Drew and Lexi.

All in all Mortal Siege was worth the wait. I love that Lexi and Drew were able to hold those responsible accountable. Was it bloody and violent? Yes. But they only did what they had to because they knew they'd never find peace otherwise. I love redemption/revenge arc of the story. And I love the world the author has created. I can't wait to see her expand it and she writes about the other characters!

I told myself I was going to save her. I didn't realize what a like that was. This neurosis has sunk in too deep. ALl it took was one glimpse of another man inside her for the beast that murdered Barnard to finsihs consming me. I've turned her into a killer. Just like me. With every corroded, toxicity-infested sin laid bare between us all that 's left is revege. And the chasm of diabolical need that tethers us. Most of all we will not stop until every single one of them is dead. I told myself I was going to save Lexi....in reality, I've finsihed ruining her. And she would have it no other way.

This is a dark series. As this story goes on it gets darker and explores some things that might be triggers for some poople. Also you need to have read Systemic Seige first or Mortal Siege will make no sense to you. Lexi and Drew as you know for Systmetic Siege offers hints of what happens in the seven years that Lexi and Drew were sepearted. Mortal SIege picks up right where it left off. This is where you find out the truth of what these two characters went through. Man oh man it is not easy to go through with them but so worth it. They seperately went though some of the most horrible things and it took some serious strength, determination and sure out will to live to get themselves out of it and just try to get their lives back. Then comes revenge and whover said revenge is sweet had this book in mind. Lexi and Drew would have never been able to find peace and live their lives had the peace not been found or dolled out. Seeking revenge also brought them back together and helped them find what they needed in life and each other to make it in this crazy world. I loved every seond of this book. I am a fan of the darker books and this one delievers. It is a story that is at the heart a love story and a pretty epic on at that. They learn to nurture and not take that love for granted. They know to well the price they have paid for this life they have now. This is just a great series to read. If you like dark books and love that is everything to the characters. You do not want to miss this book. It is different and will suck you in and not let you go till the very end. Even then your gonna be sad to be leaving these characters.

Admittedly, I am a binge reader ... I generally like to know that I can devour an entire series all at once. When I started reading the Systematic Siege series, iI thought there were only 3 books. I would read 1-3 and be done and on to the next series that caught my eye (I had already read many of N. Isabelle Blanco books and loved them all!). Imagine my surprise when at the end of #3 ... it was not over, no where near over!

I quickly started trying to get information on when Mortal Siege would be available, and how quickly could I get my hands on it ... after all, I had spent many hours with Drew and Lexi and needed to know how their story ended! Luckily I heard about the ARC process and how I could use that to get my hands on the rest of the story!

I must say, books 1-3 reeled me in, but Mortal Siege kept me in, glued and turning page after page ... reading practically straight through! Luckily I was on vacation so had the luxury of spending a little more time with my face in a book that a normal week might allow!

This book is a powerhouse ... a good read beginning to end. I was right there with Drew and Lexi for the whole ride. The book tackled its characters head on ... You will hate the ones you're supposed to hate, and won't mind a bit when those assholes that deserve to be punished get what's coming to them! Is it dark, and when you step back and look at it, you will you think "wow, I cannot believe I was on board with all the "bad" things that Drew and Lexi did" ... Then you will think "fuck yeah I was on board, those assholes deserved it all and more!"

Given the messed up past of both Drew and Lexi, there was not way that they could have a fairy tale romance, just not in the cards for them. Revenge was indeed sweet ... and all the darkness worked for them and their story.

Thanks N. Isabelle Blanco ... it was a wild ride and I loved every minute of it (even when I cringed a bit!)!!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Amazing!!!! Mortal Siege is Drew and Lexi’s beautifully twisted Revenge! This is book two in the Siege series! It’s dark and can be disturbing/hard to read at times, so heed the warnings! I loved it! Drew and Lexi’s love has no limits. After being kept apart for seven years and truths being revealed. They are desperate to make wrongs right. Stephen is their biggest problem. He’s a unpredictable, cold hearted B@$t@rd! In his sick mind Lexi is his and he will destroy the one thing she loves to make her his. I hate him with ever fiber of my being! And the horrible ugly reality is there are people like him out in this world. Mortal Siege will wreak you! But it will also call to your dark side and arouse your mind!...you will also need a cold shower because Blanco will set your body on fire with her words. The Chemistry between these two characters is so d@mn Hott you’ll have blisters! I F***ing Loved this series!! The way that Drew loves Lexi leaves you green with envy! I have never had two characters that loved this hard! Another interesting bit I liked was the detailed information on the tech used in this book! Like just amazing! I’m blown away buy the storyline, this should be a movie or at least a mini series! I would binge watch the sh*+ out of this! The Siege series easily makes my Top list! A Must Read for sure! Don’t pass this series up! If your new to the dark side I urge you to go in with a open mind and tough it out, because this is a beautiful, twisted Masterpiece! I received a review copy in exchange for a honest review.
