He has the voice of an angel, the body of a God, and I hate the very ground he walks on.

After having her heart broken, Alma Rossi made a vow: no more relationships. All she wants now is a good time with a guy who won’t try to cuddle afterward. She’s content with the new life she’s built for herself, even if all of her friends are starting their own happily ever afters. But when the man she’s tried for years to forget shows up in her town, begging for another chance, he throws her new life off its axis.

From the outside, Roan Blackwell has it all: a shining career as a country music superstar, a house that would make anyone green with envy, and more money that he knows what to do with. But after losing the love of his life, none of that other stuff seemed to matter anymore.

He would happily give it all up just for one more shot with the one who got away. He just has to convince Alma he’s worth a second chance. He’s not above playing dirty, and if that means going out of his way to charm her entire town so they’ll help in his mission to win her back, then that’s exactly what he’ll do.

This was just an ok read for me. I was pretty excited about this one since Alma was so against anything relationship and long term commitments outside of her group of friends, and I couldn't wait to see how the man that destroyed her would come back and make it up to her.. but it was just all anticlimactic. I never warmed up to Roan and I thought our girl deserved so much better. He left for 10 years (and I get why on some level, but seriously, when you had the level of fame that he had with all the money that goes with it, SOMETHING could have been done) and then he shows up out of the blue, makes a few good gestures and all is forgiven? Pass. Maybe if it had only been a few years I could have gotten past it, but this dude waited an entire DECADE before even trying. Plus the fact that he wasn't celibate through their separation really bugged me. Sure, you loved her so much, but had no issues sleeping with other people at the height of your fame? And that was never discussed either! The only good part about that was that Alma didn't fall into the simpering, revirginized cliche and slept around as much as she wanted -- but that wasn't brought up either. Maybe it was just my disdain for the H, but I just hated the way it was all handled. And her friends switched sides so quickly, too. Plus we never got to see the fallout of their relationship for ourselves, only what they chose to rehash when they were arguing -- it just felt like there was a huge chunk of their relationship we never got to see and experience, and because of that and the *decade* lost, it was really hard to connect with them as a couple.

That's not to say there wasn't some funny moments, but all in all this just wasn't my favorite from JP.

Roan and Alma’s second chance romance will give you all of the feels!

💛 Second chance romance
💛 Small town romance
💛 Celebrity MMC
💛 First love
💛 Lovers to strangers to lovers

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.25
Spice level: 🌶️🌶️
Angst level: 💔.5

Ten years after Roan destroyed Alma’s heart, he’s back in her life and wants to do everything he can to win her back. But that proves to be a hard feat when he realizes just how heartbroken Alma was and still is over their breakup.

Alma has reinvented herself in a new town with new friends after Roan broke up with her. And she loves being a new code - do not get close too close to anyone and definitely no relationships. But now that Roan is back, it is making it harder every day to stick to that.

Will Alma and Roan be able to get over past hurts, or will their past truly stay in the last?

I am truly going to miss this series so much! I loved seeing all of our Whiskey Dolls couples in this book and seeing everyone living their happily ever afters. I loved Roan’s persistence in this book and his willingness to make everything right again.

I am so sad this series is over but it was a great ending! I have been wanting Alma's story forever and it was worth the wait. Meeting the guy who turned her off relationships and seeing him come to get her back was so much fun. I loved Roan even when I wanted to smack him upside the head. These two were so much fun and I loved the cameos from the other Whiskey Dolls. If you're a small town or second chance romance fan, definitely pick this one up! It can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading in order!

Not my favorite of this series. I would have liked more groveling on the part of the mmc to win her back, but it was still a little over the top for me anyway, not a believable second chance romance and the reason why he left was lame. But I did enjoy every other book in this series.

YES!! YES!! YES!! First of all, that was the best “hey I’m back” moment I’ve ever read. Not to mention what she does when she finds him in her house cooking her dinner. God, Alma is the best!! This story will have you cheering for both of them the entire time. Roan pulls out all the stops to get his girl back. While Alma isn’t going to forgive so easily. The back and forth with these two is EVERYTHING, then when we find out why he left to begin with… I was right there with Alma as she processed that!!

Alma and Roan force us to think of a few things. First, is this really the end of this series? Sadly, yes. Second, can two hearts really heal each other after the hurt has been festering for so long? Again, signs point to yes. But the road isn’t easy. And the punches are accurate. The grovel is a good one, even if the cat disagrees with the delivery method (or maybe he’s hungry; who knows). And at the end of the day, Roan finds himself and snaps his last F to give about what others think. I mean, he proudly walks around knowing the evidence of his mistake is clear as day, and he owns up to it to all who ask.

And Alma? I understand exactly why she feels how she feels. She’s been crushed. Abandoned. Betrayed by cowardice. She’s afraid, for good reason. But she also listens to reason and figures out what to do for her own potential grovel. In the end, she and Roan are quite perfect together, then and now. So we shall have to be content with knowing that we’ll see this group again in other books, even if the Whiskey Dolls have all found their forever. I know I look forward to seeing them again in other stories!

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice:🌶️🌶️

Review: Ten years after their break up, Roan is trying to win back the love of his life Alma. Alma is a strong FMC establishing herself in a town where she makes her own rules when it comes to her love life. While Roan Blackwell is the perfect country music heartthrob who has lost the love of his life and groveling the whole way to try and get her back. Reading about the growth of these two characters was heartbreaking but was also balanced well with comedic relief (the real comedic star being Tortellini the cat). I love that Jessica was able to pull in the townspeople as well to give Roan a hard time about his past with Alma. It showed that Alma had really built a sense of community around herself and found a true home, something that Roan was severely lacking. Overall, if you love a slow burn second-chance romance I recommend Vamp!

This book!
This is why I read Romance!
A PERFECT second chance story.
Our characters were fantastic and so relatable. Their story was touching and warmed my heart after she made me want to choke her stubborn butt.
She was a strong independent woman she wasn't broken but definitely damaged.
He was a "swoonworthy " country music singer ( I totally pictured Luke Bryan through the whole thing)
Our hero came to town to get his girl back. His plan was to beg, borrow, steal and grovel!
Loved watching this play out.

Roan ends up in hope valley looking for Alma & attempts to repair what they had. Alma doesn’t take too kindly to him just rocking up in her home town. Shes got a lot of hatred from being hurt 10 years ago.

With them both loving each other can they get over what happened in the past & repair their broken hearts.

Join us on Roans journey to winning back Alma & getting there love back on track. Will they get a HEA?

Wowsers the chemistry with these 2 was off the chart.

Loved these 2! Perfect end to whiskey dolls ❤️

Alma and Roan...I was so excited to finally get Alma's book. She is a pistol..but in this book we see another side of her.. with Roan's return and persistency, Alma has to buckle down.
I love Roan. He is such a great guy and his past is so horrible.
Alma spent the last ten years hating the guy..but now she knows the truth!
I adore the town’s people..the way they are there for Alma it's beautiful.
The end made me smile so big!

I love everything Jessica writes. Vamp is no different a 5 star enemies to lover, second chance romance.

Rossi is against to ever be in a relationship again. After her disastrous breakup from Roan, her ex she just dated. He never forgot about her, the moment was right and made his move. Now he needs to convince her that they belong together.

I enjoyed this story very much and I was hooked from the first page read to the last one. It was highly entertaining, the bantering was very funny at times. An addicting storyline with a seamless plot. Bottomline this is a must read.

Although it’s part of a series, it can safely be read as a standalone. Told in a dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this series.

Roan and Alma had my heart pounding and then melting all over the place. I always love Jessica Prince's writing, it's just a given at this point. And Vamp was an instant hit for me. I love a good groveling second chance, and Alma does not take any crap lol Such a wonderful love story about finding your soulmate again and doing whatever it takes.

I was sad to see the Whiskey Dolls series come to an end, but Jessica Prince went out with a bang with Roan and Alma's story! This second-chance romance is full of big, swoony moments and some major groveling as Roan sets out to win back the woman he let go.

Due to their breakup, Alma has sworn off relationships. She's kept a part of her past hidden from her sisters at Whiskey Dolls. As the story unfolds, Alma discovers that their breakup wasn't as easy on Roan as she's imagined it to be over the last 10 years. He's suffered as well. But will she let go and let him back in?

I have loved the Whiskey Dolls series, and the found family that this ragtag group of misfits has found in each other.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

When the man who broke Alma's heart into a thousand pieces comes to HER town to win her back, she doesn't exactly react the way Roan had been hoping for. But give him credit - he bears the sign of her displeasure around the small town proudly, and even uses the whole situation as a way to win the town over to his side. What does he want? Well, to get back the only woman he's ever loved. Now, all the town has to do is sit back and be entertained as Roan tries and fails constantly, to get Alma "Freckles" to give him a second chance.

Alma hasn't told her circle of friends about the famous country star who broke her back then. Hasn't told them he's why her heart is encased in ice, and uses it as a tool to keep everyone, especially men, at a distance. Now she doesn't do love, commitment or relationships. And why not? Men have been doing this for ages, so why can't she? But when Roan comes back, she's having a hard time convincing herself to keep hating him. He's saying all the right things, doing all the right things, and her heart is thawing. But her need to run from the possibility of more pain could be their undoing.

Roan had his reasons for pushing away Alma back then. But he never came clean, didn't feel as if he could. Now that he's made up his mind to get her back, he has some serious explaining to do, along with lots of groveling, if he has a chance in hell. He knows there's still a connection between them, he'll just have to keep pestering her until she gives in.

Whew, Alma and Roan are hot together! Their banter is witty and snarky, just barely, OK, not really, managing to disguise the love that is still there between them. I have to say that I didn't feel as if Roan groveled nearly enough for my tastes but I like everything else about this second chance. Alma is my favorite part - she doesn't back down, she's sassy and feisty af, loves fiercely, even if from a bruised heart.

Sad to see this series end

I’ve enjoyed the Hope Valley series, which led into this series. It’s always an emotional swoony ride, usually with some heavy baggage that the main characters bring along with them. It’s easy to get attached to the characters, and I’m typically pulled in to the story the whole time. This books winds up the Whiskey Dolls series, which is a little sad as I’ve loved these characters. I will say I wish there had been an epilogue that wrapped up all the characters in the series, as a final goodbye.

I have mixed feelings about this one. First- I love this author, and the writing is always solid. Zero complaints with writing ability or editing. ::chefs kiss:: I enjoyed a lot about this story, as I expected… but let me explain what made me question things.

Alma is the resident forever-single, anti-relationship vixen in her friend group. She has supported all her friends in getting their HEA but swears off any chance for herself. It’s been ten years since Roan shattered her heart and left her broken. And suddenly, out of nowhere, he’s decided it’s time to fix things.

There’s a thin line that can be hard to navigate, particularly in second chance stories- sometimes a story drags some important things out too long, and others seem to things up to quickly. In this story, I love love love that Alma didn’t just cave when he showed back up. She was a true boss. She had surrounded her heart with ice and stone walls, and remade herself from the innocent lovesick girl she was with Roan into the vamp she saw herself as. She gave up all belief in her own HEA and had accepted she was a hook-up only type of girl. I love that she didn’t spend their time apart pining chastely over him. So when he shows back up, I was ecstatic that her response wasn’t of the “my body betrayed me” variety. I loathe when a fmc that is portrayed as a bada$$ suddenly rips their spine out and becomes a doormat. Make him work for it!!

But… the ones that took that attitude seemed to be her friends. Honestly, if the people I considered my closest friends had quite literally just learned of the heartbreak I had endured, and still turned into instant supporters of “team second chance” I’d have to cut them out too. Obviously she’s going to get there eventually, but those friends should have had her back unconditionally, especially as this man was a stranger and they had not known him long enough to know whether he deserved their support. They oddly pushed her into reconciling immediately.

They literally swooned because on his second day in town he found her sick and took care of her. Yea, it was sweet. But one “awww” moment doesn’t make him honorable or negate the pain he caused. From Alma, I’d accept the softened stance. They had history after all. And it as definitely a start back into her good graces. A baby step. But from strangers who only know her side of the story- they should have had her back without question.

I have to admit the story was a bit downhill for me at that point. I hated that everyone took his side. It felt less like they did it because they wanted only happiness for Alma, and more like they were falling for the smarmy charm of some guy that just showed up and declared he was a good guy. He put in the effort to win Alma, I’ll give him that. But he didn’t have to do a thing to get the people closest to her on his side. He could have been an abusive stalker for all they knew. Th fact is, they DIDN’T know. They had not yet had a chance to know he was a good guy because it had only been DAYS. It gave me ick vibes and made me sad that she didn’t have anyone really have her back. The man literally stole a copy of her house key, let himself in to cook her dinner when she wasn’t there, and when she had the police come get him they all sat around the police station laughing like it was a party. Because he’s famous, he MUST be a good guy after all 🙄. It may seem silly, but it annoyed me so much it made it hard for me to enjoy them actually getting back together. Instead of being able to appreciate or swoon over his efforts, I felt like the townsfolk and friends’ response soured it for me.

When we finally find out what caused him to push her away, I had mixed feelings. My heart hurt for him, and what he had endured with his parents, but also I found it not quite satisfying. Like yes, he was young and maybe made a decision he realized now was foolish, even if he felt it was the right one at the time. But ten years?? TEN YEARS. And even with all his money, being able to afford to care for and protect Alma, he didn’t consider setting things right sooner? TEN YEARS? Sorry- that time frame alone would be a hard no from me. And it weirdly was just settled with one conversation when he told her what happened with his dad. I’m not quite certain what the weird phone calls he was getting in regards to his dad’s estate added to the story, as we never actually found anything out about it. It could have been completely edited out and not changed the story at all.

So… overall opinion? Sad to see the series end. I loved Alma’s character, I even loved Roan’s effort at winning her back. I wish it hadn’t taken ten long years. And I wish her friends had made him work to win them over too. But yes, I will definitely read anything else this author writes too.

Alma Rossi has sworn off relationships after having her heart obliterated by the man she loved. So, while she's happy that every one of her friends has paired off and found love, Alma absolutely won't be revisiting that part of her life... or will she?!

Roan Blackwell is at a turning point in his career as a country music star. He's sick of singing the same old songs, and living the same, tired and unfulfilling life... what he really wants is to win back the woman he never stopped loving, even if its been 10 years since they've seen each other...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Vamp was a fantastic, slow burn, second chance romance, read! Alma and Roan once shared a shining relationship, with a bright future before them, but when Roan's career took off, their commitment fell apart. Years later, Roan wants another chance... but Alma wants absolutely nothing to do with him...
Alma loves her job as a dancer at Whiskey Dolls. She has made great friends, and she adores the small town of Hope Valley, and the happiness and sense of belonging she has found living there.
Nothing has been the same for Roan in the years since Alma left. He is feeling unfulfilled in Nashville and with his career, but most of all, he is lonely without the woman who made happier than any fame he ever achieved...
This book was a great read! I loved the strong emotions and memories shared between Alma and Roan. Their history together was an important part of their future, and I really enjoyed Alma's refusal to let Roan  back into her life too easily. Their reconciliation was sexy and fun, but Alma refuses to let her guard down when it comes to Roan...
I adored the Whiskey Dolls series, and I am so sad to see it go! These characters each had stories that were super sexy, entertaining and full of delicious drama, and they are all well worth a re-read now that the series is complete!
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
Vamp by Jessica Prince is the 6th and also the last book of the Whiskey Dolls Series... and I'm absolutely devastated that this series is over now.
It's over now because I finished this unbelievably wonderful book and I've to deal with all my feelings.
I'm sooooo happy that I read the beautiful love story of Alma and Roan, but also sad about the ending...
But anyway! Let's review this!
Roan Blackwell is a famous country star. But he has enough of this fake industry and wants to make his own songs. More importantly he wants to get back the love of his life first!
Alma - a famous Whiskey Doll - doesn't know any of that... until he shows up at one if her performances and meets her backstage.
Let's just say, she's not happy to see him again.
Awwwwwww! Jessica Prince! The QUEEN OF ENEMIES-TO-LOVERS! 👸
One of my favourite tropes!
Vamp is also a second chance love story.
Roan does anything to get Alma back... and Alma is persistent to resist him!
I looooved their chemistry! Awwwww!
PERFECTION OVERLOAD! 🥰😍
I loved the previous books of this series and of course this one isn't an exception!
A hot guy with a heart of gold? Strong and able to deal with his previous mistakes to get the love of his life back?
YES! that Roan for sure! ❤️
And Alma? Awwww! This sassy and badass woman! Ha! She didn't feel for him at first again! Really inspiring! I'm not sure I could resist. LOL
OMG! I just swooned soooo many times!!! 🥰🥰🥰 When I didn't swoon, I laughed or cried or... needed some cold cold water!
A brilliant combination of all the stuff I love in a good romance book!
Jessica Prince just knows how to make you fall in love with characters, their storyline and to forget everything around you. ❤️
Now that I finished Vamp I still have to deal with the fact that it was the last book of this perfect series... huh... yeah, that'll take some time.
I loved the fact that all the other characters appeared here too. It felt like some kind of reunion.
So, I'm taking a deep breath and try to live my life... that's what every reader has to do. I guess. LOL
Vamp is Alma's story. And I should guess it that this is the last book because Alma is the last single one of the girl gang but I'm blindsided by a mention of a new generation of Whiskey Dolls so I just think at the end of the book, Prince would give me a hint of new character(s) which is no such luck, BTW.
Anyway, Vamp is still full of Prince's charms I love. She is one of a few authors who can make me laugh and cry (or reverse) in a few sentences apart. And Alma's second chance story isn't different.
I have to say I'm curious what Alma's story would be because she seems to be the sassiest one of the Dolls gang with her "Vamp" character. And when Prince announced its blurb and I found out it is second chance which is one of my most favorite, I felt like I'm over the moon.
Roan's "Win Alma Back" operation wouldn't be this easy without Alma's friends. And the townspeople makes me fall in love with this small town Alma has landed again. The story gives me all the feels... hilarious, a little bit of angst from tragic past, a strong and smart heroine, a protective hero, a group of friends who would do and be there for them, fun banters, and a hot chemistry between hero and heroine.
I really love Jessica Prince's Whiskey Dolls, Hope Valley, and Redemption and I feel like I can read these series forever... with all those charming and funny characters. So I'm astonished when I reach the end of Vamp and find out that this is the last book of Whiskey Dolls now I feel lost because I'm going to miss this girl gang so much... or at least until Prince announces her new series, LOL.
Vamp is the final book in the Whiskey Dolls series. Having not read any of the other books and picking this one up as a standalone, I thought I might struggle with some of the characterisations, but despite not knowing the other Whiskey Doll's backstories and relationships, it was still easy to follow Alma's story as Roan, the man she loved and who broke her heart ten years ago, comes back into her life in the hopes of winning her back.
This is an extremely slow-burn second-chance romance. Roan and Alma were madly in love until Roan went off to be a famous singer, and breaking Alma's heart left her swearing off love forever. Ten years have passed, and Roan has realised it all means nothing without Alma in his life, so he sets out to win her back, and though not overly extensive, the grovel was sweet. The author did a really good job of creating Alma's character as someone who seems impenetrable when it comes to feelings and emotions, hiding it all behind the walls she's built, but with the book being in dual POV as a reader, we are often privy to her inner thoughts, which show she's not as anti-Roan or anti-love as she makes out. The emotional moments when truths and feelings are discussed are broken up with humour, usually revolving around Alma's fat cat, Tortellini.
I found Vamp to be an easy read; it was sweet and tender, with some lovely moments between both the main characters and the sideline characters too. The way in which the relationships between everyone were written made me want to read the rest of the series.
***4.5 Stars***
What a way to end a series (though I do hope it’s not the last we hear about this crew in other series)! You have two MC’s who obviously belong together, but split apart in such a way that the wounds haven’t truly healed and a small town filled with people who have no issue with letting their opinions be known.
I loved Alma and Roan. Alma is stubborn. No doubt about it, but she has her reasons and is unapologetic about it. Roan is charming and sincere. Their second chance journey is filled with a lot of push/pull and communication breakdowns, but even when Alma tries to keep those walls up, the part of her heart that still belongs to Roan keeps them from going up. I do have to say that when we finally get the full story about what broke Roan and Alma up, I did empathize with Roan, but was staunchly Team Alma.
It’s always bittersweet to say good-bye to a series, especially when it is connected to other series that have also ended, but, as always, it was a fun ride. I loved getting to see all the Whiskey Dolls get their HEA’s and build friendships that one can only imagine will last a lifetime. Now my toes are crossed that we’ll get updates through other books and series as time goes on and maybe one day down the road, have a series that will take us back to them through any offspring they may have.
I can’t believe the Whiskey Dolls series is over! Alma was our last Doll to settle down and she was bound and determined that would NEVER happen. She was content to watch her friends settle down and find their happily ever afters, but had no interest in one of her own. Once bitten, twice shy. Meanwhile, the reason for that decision, mega country star Roan, has decided he can’t live without the love of his life for one more minute. His decision to win her back is the beginning of their second chance and the wooing starts!
I think the reader can feel Alma’s hurt and heartbreak and understand her reticence to get involved with Roan again. The reader can also feel Roan’s heartbreak for having hurt her so badly. The push and pull is hot, hot, hot but also has an emotional side that tugs at your heartstrings.
It is always phenomenal to read a Jessica Prince release because you get to catch up on all the characters we’ve fallen in love with over the years. Her ability to weave her characters through so many books (and series, even) is unmatched! Even though I’m so sad to see Whiskey Dolls end, I know whatever universe she brings to us next is going to be equally amazing and just as hot and swoony! Meanwhile, cuddle up with your blanket, a glass of wine and lose yourself in these two crazy characters journey to love. And try not to snort laugh at Tortellini….who steals the show! Enjoy!
This is the final book is the Whiskey Dolls series. It is another series that I am sad to see go. This is Alma and Roan’s story. We didn’t know much about Alma other than she had walls of steel around her heart and emotions but not the story behind it. Alma was determined to just have fun and never fall in love again. Roan comes to town after reaching out to Linc and asking for help to find where Alma was to learn Linc knew exactly where she was. When they finally come face to face although Roan knew she was there she had no idea! Alma was determined to keep her walls up and not give him the time of day because she could not be hurt again like the last time and after all it was bound to happen because he had to go back to Nashville. Even though Alma avoided Roan as much as she could the chemistry was there until they finally gave into it. Roan knew what he wanted but Alma fought it even after they got together she fought it and it blew up if typical fashion. Although I really liked the book the ending seemed rushed. There was a part with Alma’s cat that was never explained or figured out. This book was also missing the drama the other books in the series had which brought all the characters together and I missed that but not enough to take away from the book.
4.5 star
I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, secrets, naughty times, second chances, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Bombshell (Whiskey Dolls #1)
Knockout (Whiskey Dolls #2)
Stunner (Whiskey Dolls #3)
Seductress (Whiskey Dolls #4)
Temptress (Whiskey Dolls, #5)
This is Alma and Roan‘s story. These two have a past. It was good until her broke her heart. Now she is a different person who holds part of herself back from everyone. He is in town to win her back and make a forever with her. But she does not want anything to do with him and makes sure he knows it as soon as she sees him. Can he tell her the truth of the past and finally get his second chance. Can they build a future together or is it their last goodbye? Great ending to this series.
I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.
This is a very sweet redemption and second chance romance.
But let me tell you the Angst and slow burn was a lot. It was getting to 70% and I started panicking that I might have started a clean romance 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Rest assured I was treated to a very hot and Spicy time. Wink.
Now Roan broke Alma's heart and walked away 10 years ago. Both have been leaving a broken and lonely life.
Now he has had enough and is ready to win her back.
I absolutely loved the small town feel. How everyone warned him and helped him at the same time. It was funny and heartwarming. Then there is the found family, Whiskey dolls. Love them all.
Read and find out why it took him 10 years to sort himself out and why he actually left.
Alma doesn't make it easy for him but I loved how he refused to give up. And then there was her cat Tortellini 🤣🤣🤣. Roan described it as ' a big orange basketball'. I was howling hahaha.
Very entertaining, fun, banter emotional, love, heartbreak and little spice.
I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Alma is the tough girl with the heart of gold and in this story, we definitely see that. The first part of the story introduces Roan who is a famous singer who had to leave her behind when he made it big. Ten years later he has many regrets, and one is Alma, so he tries to find her and make her forgive him.
Alma gave up on love when Roan broke her heart. She is pretty much the vamp in this story, and she pretty much has one-night stands and is too wild for anyone. That is also something that Roan did to her, and I love that she makes him work for her heart.
This is the last book in the series, and it's got some angst. It was an awesome conclusion to the series, and we also get to see all the previous couples come back and help her have her happily ever after.
