What a way to end a suspenceful romance trilogy. Ravenna caused all types of havoc without being there, and that twist at the end.. i mean oh my gosh! Tamsyn was heartbroken but when she had to go back in Luciens world, that girl made him work for it. She gave the push back he needed. This trilogy was so good. Highly recommend!

A thrilling and engaging final installment in this Rebecca inspired meets Gone Girl suspense romance! One must read all 3 books in order as each leads directly to the next. Note these are pretty brisk reads at around 200ish pages each. But pacing is tight and never feels rushed or like there are gaps.
I absolutely love this couple! The ever angtsy and cunning s3xy billionaire Lucien is true to form from the previous books but we get some wonderful acceptance and growth in this one as well. Tamsyn is faced with the shattering aftermath of Lucien's seemingly horrible verbal attack on her from book 2. But the alterior motives are valid and his protective nature is always underlying in all he does even at the expense to make himself appear a monster to save her.
The murder mystery element provides sharp and engaging material for the reader. I was always invested in working out the who, what and why. Things are connected in this web of deception that surrounds Lucien, Tamsyn, his ex and Ackerly (our lovely gothic-like billionaire retreat).
Truly loved how this evolved as the slow burn age gap from book one, to the twists and turns of books 2 and 3. Absolutely loved this trilogy! There was strong balance between the romance and the drama, which can be hard to maneuver, but I always felt swept away in this story and all the characters, including wonderful side characters like Lucian's brother and the staff. This trilogy as a whole is a shiny diamond worthy to add to your collection.

Lucien Winters 🥵 Holy sh*t, this man is one of my favorite MMC's ever! He's intense, protective, possessive, tall, handsome, intelligent, touch her and d*e, a BILLIONAIRE, has a mysterious past, grumpy with everyone that's not her 🥹, can't keep his hands off her, and will do anything to keep his woman safe 🥹❤️ From the second he saw her at the airport and he heard her correcting Mrs Hooper on what car was parked infront of the airport 🤭 This man canceled his billion dollar deal to spend more time with her. He heard she was going on a cruise with her elderly patient and booked a room 4 hours before departure 🤭😂❤️His heart and brain always told him, "Don't let her go" and "Don't hurt her" 😩

Their love, chemistry, bond, and strength were so beautiful to witness 🥹 These two deserved their Happily Ever After the most, and I was so here for it. The writing, pacing, and storyline were absolutely intriguing from Book One, and I could not put them down at all! Finished this series in 2 days 🤭

A fantastic conclusion to an amazing trilogy.
This book picked up exactly where Hush Money left off and I have to say this was some brilliant writing. This book was very engaging and I absolutely devoured it. The twist and turns had me on edge, the suspense and intrigue had me totally engrossed trying to figure out what was going on.
The strenght of Tamsyn and Lucien's relationship was truly tested in this book however the depth of their love was strong and withstood all that was thrown at them. I thoroughly enjoyed the push and pull between these two. The chemistry was electrifying and very hot. I loved Lucien's possessiveness and alphaness. Tamsyn in spite of everything stood by Lucien and did not falter in her faith in him.
The unfolding mystery surrounding the death of Lucien's wife was thrilling and exciting and I never expected that ending.
This last book was definitely worth the wait. I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy, it was fast paced , well written and a definite must read.

Ava finally gives us a relief of all the torturous drama in this trilogy.
You must read all 2 books prior to read this one as it's all connected.
We start with Lucien being told the wicked witch Ravenna is finally unalive. But now he is prime suspect. Lucien is a mess since he broke Tamsyn's heart and his along with it.
But Ravenna is still causing trouble from the other side. There soo many twists and revelations but I am proud to say I was right from book 1,woohoo. Haha. I knew a certain someone was part of it.
Now Lucien is in fight with trying to prove his innocence and win the woman he loves.
Tamsyn is rightfully hurt but even knowing the truth she fought a bit too hard. The man though, goes above and beyond to show her how much he loves her. The things Ravenna did was unbelievable and so glad she got what was deserved.
This was so fast paced, entertaining, high drama, suspense, twists and spicy. I enjoyed reading it but as you know me, I don't do well with cliffhangers but still was worth it.

The gripping conclusion to the Winter Trilogy was everything I was hoping for and more. Will Lucien and Tamsyn get their HEA, or will his past cause their love to crumble around them?
This trilogy has consumed me since the beginning and I was anxiously awaiting the ending. The suspense and twist and turns were top tier and kept me guessing page after page. I love how immersed in this world we become, cheering Tamsyn and Lucien on and desperately hoping they get the future they've been dreaming of.
Tamsyn was a woman after my own heart because after all she'd been through with Lucien, and no matter how much she loved him, she made him earn his place in her life. The chemistry and connection between them could never be questioned, even during the difficult times. Their love and devotion to one another was palpable.
I'm really hoping we get more from this world...maybe a certain man that has an air of mystery about him?

Oh, I can’t believe the Winter trilogy is over—but whew, what an ending! I honestly don’t think two characters have stressed me out with their decision-making as much as Lucien and Tamsyn have, but I’ve enjoyed every minute!
These two have undeniable chemistry. So after the cliffhanger in Hush Money, I was absolutely convinced Lucien was guilty. So I have no idea what kind of love Tamsyn was in to only have 2% doubt—lol! But I’m glad I was wrong and this book kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t stop reading because I had to know what was happening next, and who actually got rid of Ravenna for good.
I have no idea what’s coming next, but I really hope we get Roman’s story—especially since he mentioned a past love. And if we do get his book, I’m also hoping for a small peek into Lucien and Tamsyn’s future. Will she still become a nurse? Do they stay in Ackerley? I need to know—lol!

This was a conclusion that I never expected. The mystery and suspense that will leave you on the edge of your seat. The connection that Lucien and Tamsyn is electric to say the lease. There were somethings that happened that had happened that I was on the fence about but I’m glad that I was wrong because, wow! Towards the end of the book, I was in utter shock with that was happening never would have guessed half it. I have read other books by Ava, but I have to say that this is my favourite by her. I can’t wait to see what other books she comes out with.

Ravenna finally got what she deserved but bloody hell she didn’t go without a fight did she - still manipulative till the end!
The twists, the turns, what an ending! I thought I knew and it kept changing between 2 characters but when it was finally revealed I was still shocked.
I cannot give a full review as I honestly don’t want to ruin the last book of the trilogy but a must read

This books has everything, forced proximity, age gap, billionaire mmc. This might be my favorite book from this trilogy.
Lucien is so obsessed with Tamsyn and when I say he’d do anything for her I mean it. The murder mistery aspect of this made this book 10 times better. The writing was so good that i genuinely thought the murderer was three different people.
I cannot wait to read more from Ava Ryan. Final cost out 3/11/25 everyone go read these three books right now.

Who doesn’t love a good murder mystery. Lucien and Tamsyn whirlwind romance was put to a screeching holt, when Lucien’s wife returned from the dead. Ravenna return brings nothing but chaos, questions, and danger. Then suddenly as Ravenna returned from the dead shes dead once more. Only this time for real. Who killed Ravenna and why. Who can Tamsyn believe, where is she safe. Final Cost is a crazy rollercoaster ride full of obsessive love, murder mystery, and manipulation.

I discovered Ava Ryan with this book, and I really enjoyed both the plot and the tropes.
We follow Tamsyn and Lucien in a tumultuous relationship, and I absolutely loved the author’s writing style, it’s so smooth and engaging.
The main characters are very well written, and the plot twist at the end completely took me by surprise; I loved it!
The pacing of the story was just right, but I felt that the final events were a bit rushed.
Overall, it was a great read that I enjoyed from beginning to end.

What an ending to an amazing story! Final Cost had me going back and forth trying to guess who the real bad guy was. That suspenseful mystery kept me flipping page after page. So hard to put down. I love how Lucien is so determined to have Tamsyn that he's willing to do anything, the perfect morally gray character. Their chemistry makes me swoon and sweat all at once. And that horseback riding scene... sooooo good!! All in all, it was the perfect ending to this trilogy.

Ravenna. What a hateful, spiteful, manipulative, insane woman—thank god karma came for her and gave her what she deserves. But damn if she didn’t try to take Lucien down with her! And I knew she had an accomplice but I was not expecting that. Karma all around.
Poor Lucien and Tamsyn got drug through the wringer but they finally finally got their happy ending. I just love them so much.

This is Book 3 in the Winter Trilogy by this author. It is the conclusion of the age gap romance between young nurse Tamsyn and older billionaire Lucien. These two flawed but likeable souls end their love story with more drama and steam, sexual tension and chemistry, and twists and turns. In the end, love conquers all! An emotional page turner.

i was so excited to see how this story ended. tamsyn really annoyed me in this book. i didn't like how she wouldn't talk to lucien about what had happened. did i like or agree with what he did? no. but i still think she should have sat down and talked to him when he asked. but this didn't take away from the storyline. i was not surprised to see how at least part of it ended. i think it was a good way to end the series. thank you ava and greys pr for gifting me with a copy

I was impatient for this last book to hit my e-reader and it was definitely worth the wait! The chemistry and tension between Tamsyn and Lucien is soooo flippin' hot lol. Not gonna lie, I kinda thought Lucien wasn't exactly....innocent after the Hush Money cliffhanger, so I'm glad things went in the direction they traveled. This last book had me hooked because I wanted to know how things would turn out for Lucien and Tamsyn, and especially that one issue we know as Ravenna lmao.

I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Absolute perfection! Great mix of suspense, billionaire issues, spicy - oh yes the spice, and mystery.
I didn’t see the final gotcha moment coming and I loved it! Couldn’t put the book down.

I didn’t realize till I went to write a review that this is the final book in the trilogy which may have been the reason for some of my confusion.
However, I liked this book and the storyline between Ravenna and Lucien. The mystery element regarding Ravenna, the suspense of who did it, and the fast pace of the story all fit together perfectly.

What a great ending to this trilogy! Right from the beginning, Lucien & Tamsyn had me hooked. From the cruise ship, to Ackerley, to a resurrected wife, to murder, this series had it all.
I highly recommend this to those who like a bit of suspense & mystery with their billionaire romances! You won’t be disappointed!

Lucien and Tamsyn are so perfect together. Final Cost is a perfect conclusion to this beautiful, Intense and Captivating trilogy. I loved being in the journey with Lucien and Tamsyn as a reader.
I could feel every emotion they were feeling and so many hurdles they have to go through to be with each other.

What a way to end an amazing trilogy!
Lucien and Tamsyn are more intense, more in love, and their relationship is even stronger than ever. The love, chemistry, bond, and strength were so beautiful to witness between these two. They deserved their happily ever after the most, and I was so here for it every step of the way. There was a strong balance between the romance and the drama in this book. I can't recommend this book enough!

Awesome way to end this trilogy.. It was a total surprise how this author ended this book, it was exciting to read and I absolutely loved this story. It was very good, hot and very sexual how she told the story, I was very impressed by this author. ENJOY!!

The Winter Trilogy
The trilogy is a must read for this thriller from beginning to end. Surprises throughout. Lots of angst, 🔥 sex, thrilling descriptive scenes with a happy ending. The editing of the books seems to have been overlooked but not to the point of disappointment. Author was a five star for genius creative writing.

I loved following Lucien and Tamsyn story. What a great ending to this series!! Crazy good story with lots of twists throughout. Lots of drama and suspense. They had to overcome a lot throughout their story together. Author wrote an awesome, intense story that I couldn’t put down.
