He started as my bully...

The complete trilogy COMING JULY 7TH ... with exclusive bonus content!

Jake

Three years.

That’s how much time my twin sister and I got before our past caught up with us.

We were doing well, we were being good, we were keeping out of trouble. Most of all, I was in control.

But trouble always finds a reason to make its way back to us. And when it does, Jamie Williams is here to witness it.

In the morning I learned of her existence.

In the afternoon she was spying on me like a fangirl.

By the evening I figured I had threatened her enough to stay silent.

Guess I will need to get a little more creative since my threats didn’t work on her.

I have time on my hands, darkness on my mind, and a hundred ways to make Jamie Williams bend to my will.

This book is a dark high school bully romance intended for mature readers. It contains detailed sexual scenes and bullying scenes that some readers may find triggering. If you are unsure of your triggers, please heed the author’s trigger warning in the book.

4 stars ⭐️ Lola King strikes again!

This collection consists of the trilogy and a novella for Jake and Jamie. Neither of them have had easy lives, and they go on a dark and twisty journey to get their HEA. The books were captivating and although it’s a long story, it’s filled with good detail that will bring out all the emotions. I struggled with Jamie’s passive personality and wished she had a bit more growth by the end.

I made the mistake of reading the North Shore stories prior to reading Jake and Rose’s books so some of the plot was ruined for me. I’d recommend going off Lola’s reading order if you decide to start one of her books. I’ll be reading Rose’s duet next because she is such a baddie and I’m in love with her.

★4.75 bright stars★

A captivating story filled to the brim with sassy female characters and sexy possessive male characters. Despite a very popular setting (school, rich kids vs poor) among bully tropes and before seen scenarios (teenagers who don’t look nor behave as such) Lola King manages to deliver an angsty enemies to lovers tale, with a real unapologetic morally grey hero.

~𝙅𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙮 𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩. 𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙙, 𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙮, 𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙨. 𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚… 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜~

Jake is a real bully, he’s fighting dark demons and a past who is fast catching up with him. His ability to be in control of his feelings and everyone around him wavers the moment Jamie enters his life. Her invasion enrages him, her unassuming little persona shakes him to the core, she awakes the demons he so carefully keeps locked; there is no way out once he lets them free.

~𝙏𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙢𝙚, 𝙅𝙖𝙠𝙚, 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙤 𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙡? 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙙?~

Jamie is your typical well behaved teenager, she goes to church, she has good marks, she doesn’t like bringing attention to her, she’s set on her future and her goals. However, little Jamie has also the bad habit of sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong… she soon realises catching Jake’s attention isn’t something the be taken lightly. While he descends upon her with hunger for blood she unveils her inner self who is irreparably attracted to his darkness.

~𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙢𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚~

Things will get very ugly before they get better, Lola puts these characters through a lot, and I was there for the gut wrenching show. They mess up, they make mistakes both due to age and past trauma, but they also come to terms with new feels, their ghosts and people who will stop at nothing to get what they want.

~“𝙄𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙮, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣’𝙩 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝.”~

The story is told in dual point of view, the narrative flows through the page, the alluring writing kept me glued to the pages, eager to learn how the story evolved. The plot is well structured and it doesn’t lack in twists and turning points. There are a few redundancy which could be avoided, especially when it comes to character descriptions and the way they feel. However, these repetitions do not slow the reading pace, and don’t reduce the reading experience. The steamy moments are well balanced and don’t lack in heat, these characters won’t fail to raise the temperature in the room. The story spans from teenage years right into early adulthood, the author takes her time with the characters allowing them to grow and develop.

~𝙅𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙚 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙮 𝙠𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙛𝙩 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚. 𝘼𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙧, 𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚~

This was my first story by Lola King and it definitely won’t be the last. This is a review for the whole trilogy edition and the bonus novella, this edition as well as the the full length books are all available, you can indulge with no worries about cliffhangers.

⚠️TW besides the listed potential triggers please be aware the two main characters make several mistakes before their happy ending, if questionable behaviour isn’t your cup of tea make an informed decision before diving in.

Thanks to @lolaking_author and @valentine_pr_ for the ARC.

I literally binge ate this book.
It had me obsessed.

This book made me feel a lot of emotions all together from nervous to sadness to bitterness.

Jake and Jamie’s story is not a fairytale and has a lot, and when I say a lot I MEAN IT, of ups and downs.

Their relationship is toxic af, but I loved how their relationship felt raw and so real, how they work on themselves.

Jamie was put through a lot, in the relationship and in her life in general, from losing her father and brother, to the heartache she got while being with Jake.

I emphasised a lot and no, it wasn’t romanticized but I loved their development.

If I could gave this trilogy more than 5 stars I would, precisely because it gave me a stomach ache for how many emotions it made me feel.

I can’t wait to read “Beautiful Fend”, Carter and Billie’s story❤️‍🩹

This entire series, has me in a choke hold, it hasn’t let up since …. 😏 Jake, Nathan, Nathan, Jake..

What you can expect from this omnibus.

Angst, tension, character growth, chemistry, slow burn, heart wrenching story, steamy, possessive, over the top, alpha MMC, touch her and you d!e, with a mouth on him - that lits fires!
Unm, chest pains, tears, sweat, bliss, and then some. (Yes, there are parts that g¥tted me)
Jamie - my naive, little detective.
Her concept & brilliant mind, along with the kindness she exudes through out, is one of her most endearing, albeit slighty at times annoying traits.
Ngl, diving into Stoneview - both exhilirated and hurt my heart, this is told in multiple POV’s, so, not only do you experience the main characters. But, it gives you insight, further into their backgrounds, their close knit group, ins & outs.

Jake freaking White is the epitome of a bad boy, a bully, who isn't even shy about it.

This cat & mouse chase, gave me the thrill of my life, in a reading sense, kept me on the edge of my seat through out the entirety of the book and not even the preparation for the way it’ll go down helped. It felt like reading it for the first time.

I'll never stop hyping or recommending this series.

Spice that was hot off the press - check
Story to wrap around your heart - check.

Thank you for the e-arc, I lovr this story! Nobody writes men like Lola King, they simply are, in many ways superior. 🥵🥵🥵

Stoneview Stories by Lola King is the Complete Trilogy of the Stoneview Stories. This is a great box set if you have read the series and loved it. This has additional bonus scenes. This is also a great way to discover a new author if you haven't read any previous books by Ms. King. Jamie/Goody and Jake meet when they are about 17 years old. Jamie is curious about Jake but Jake and his then girlfriend are set out to make Jamie's life tough. But some how along the way Jake started to catch feeling for Jamie. This box set does span about 9 years of their relationship and the drama they had to endure.
This is the list of books you get:
Giving In
Giving Away
Giving Up
One Last kiss

This is the perfect way to grab this sinfully tempting trilogy with one little click and with zero cliffy wait times. That means that once this story sinks its claws deeply into you (And trust me it will), you can just hang on tight and enjoy the dark and twisty, intense and emotional, and wickedly steamy and suspenseful ride. I know I sure did!! This is my volitional, forthright review.

“I’m yours. Not even death will do us part. I love you.”

i’ve officially read all of Lola’s books & she really has a way of completely taking over your heart with every character she writes. every character within this world has me in a chokehold that i never wanna get out of.

“The day I realized I was in love with you, I started breathing for the first time. There isn’t one day I will spend without you. There isn’t one second of one minute I will not love you.”

this trilogy. this. damn. trilogy. it made me feel so many emotions from happy, sad, bitter…i just could not get enough. i binge ate this trilogy right up. jake and jamie’s story is not for the faint of heart. it’s not all rainbows and butterflies. it’s real. it’s raw. it’s toxic. there is soooo many ups and downs. the angst, tension, chemistry, banter was top tier. they went through hell to get to their happily ever after, but everything they went through, made their relationship them. they worked so hard on themselves and their relationship. the development was amazing. when i got to the epilogue, to their wedding day…i was a mess. no one deserves that amount of happiness but them. it was everything to me.

“The man who made me live life to the fullest. The man who taught me that falling in love is exactly that, falling. And that at the end you’re the one who catches me.”

Jake White: a possessive, obsessive bully. we see Jake fight is dark demons and past that’s catching up with him. he was so good at controlling his emotions until Jamie came into his life. he definitely was stubborn, hardheaded, never listened to a thing anyone told him and hard to crack. but he fell so hard for Jamie. seeing him finally be vulnerable & let her all the way in, it’s the most beautiful thing. she brought light to his darkness and he did anything and everything to make sure she was his and only his. he has such a soft spot for her, she has him wrapped around her little finger. his character development was just amazing to witness. i wanna give him a hug and tell him im proud of him.

“Jamie is the opposite. She’s whole. When she’s mad or sad, it breaks her heart. She cries easily and laughs heartily. But when she loves, it’s deep and warm like a summer afternoon.”

Jamie Williams: damn did she go through hell in this book and came out stronger than ever. she just could not catch a break😭 we first see Jamie as the shy girl. a good girl with a big heart who stays out of trouble. but she’s more than that. her character development was amazing. Jake brought out so many parts of her that she was hiding because of the trauma she was faced with losing her dad and brother. she’s not shy, she’s not weak. she’s a leader, a problem solver, brave, strong, confident. she isn’t afraid to be who she is. she holds her own when it comes to Jake. she wears her heart on her sleeve. and i loved how she wasn’t afraid to show what she enjoyed in the bedroom. that girl loves so dark shit, who would have known.

i also really loved seeing the friendship she had developed with Rose. I read Roses book before this and i love her so much. so seeing her open up to Jamie about her trauma…made my heart warm.
“Why is your dick so small I can’t even feel it today,” - when rose said that about luke i laughed so loud.

this trilogy i actually read last, not first. so i read Nathan’s book before this one, awhile back. if i wouldn’t have, this book would have pissed me off with that love triangle bullshit but i know the outcome with Nathan so my heart was able to take it🤣

fav quotes❤️🌶️⛓️💍 (there’s a lot)

“it only motivates me to work harder for our relationship because I want her. I want her so bad my chest ached”

“Dammit, she could be taking the trash out, I still think my cock would enjoy the view.”

“He kisses me like it’s the last time he ever will, like he’s loved me for years and will love me forever.”

“the fact that he’s making me come with a gun between my legs.”
^^sir

“he doesn’t have to mold me, our broken pieces already fit together perfectly.”

“I think if you keep contradicting me with that pretty mouth of yours, you’re going to choke on my dick before we get home.”

“I’m in love with you, Jamie. So fucking much it hurts. You make my heart go fucking crazy, you pull at its strings until it can only sing to the rhythm of yours. As long as your heart beats, mine will beat along with it.”

“How does it feel, Angel? To be worshipped by the devil?”

“I want to wake up by his side every day, I want his love and his support. I want the way he always lifts me up when I’m down, I want him to let go of the demons.”

“It’s a dream-like state to be with Jamie. An unattainable fantasy. Fiction written for the books and films and series on Netflix.”

“Jamie and I are a forever kind of thing. I would fight and kill for her. And I’m not talking death do us apart sort of shit. No, I’ll follow my Angel to heaven, bring her back down, and drag her to hell with me. Exactly where I belong. Mine today, mine tomorrow, and mine forever.”

“you are so perfectly mine”

“I fuck her like I’m insane. Like the kind of man who would beat up someone to an inch of their life if they dare upset her.”

“Kiss me, baby. Give me one last kiss as my girlfriend before you become my wife.”

“I wake up every day to your beautiful eyes knowing if I were to die tomorrow, I can die peacefully if they’re the last thing I saw.”

“You’re my guiding light when I lose myself, the other half of my soul.”

This is a dark bully romance and contains dubcon sexual scenes, bullying scenes, age difference, and other scenes that some readers may find triggering. There is mention of child abuse and sexual assault.
If any of this makes you feel uncomfortable, please do not read this book. Your mental health comes first.

My thoughts (Contains spoilers)
What did I just read? this book blew my mind and I think my heart also flew away with it no kidding 🫠

First of all, this book (basically a series) comprises 4 parts ie, 4 books combined – Giving In, Giving Away, Giving Up & One Last Kiss.

It took me a total of 3 days to complete this masterpiece and damn, I’m speechless.

Tbh, I was waiting to get my hands on Lola’s books, especially this series from a longgg time and the day I received the ARC, can you believe I was screaming for literally 10 mins? (My roommate got shit scared ngl)

I’m so glad I got to read this book and aahhhhh, I’m literally OBSESSED.

The plot had me hooked from the start and I was literally squirming with all the steamy scenes *too hot*

I guess I really love a plot where a dark, damaged guy falls obsessively in love with an innocent soul and this series delivered it all in a platter.

Though this series focuses on Jake & Jamie more specifically, the other characters – Rose, Chris, Luke, Emily - all of them played a massive role in this series and oh, how can I forget our Nate?

I was surprised how I jumped from Nate being “the one” for Jamie to Jake.

Also, the shock of Nate & Jake being brothers had me crackling.

Damn, I literally envy Jamie for having the attention of not one but two hot devils, that too brothers *sigh*

This book was DARK, with lots of bullying but the pull and chemistry between Jake & Jamie had me choking on my spit.

Also, no doubt I wanted to strangle Bianco for being an a**hole to the twins (yup, Rose & Jake are identical twins) and Nate, and I was able to breathe and sigh of relief when he was sent into prison.

I loved the character development among these two and I bawled my eyes out at the end with the HEA.

I went through a roller-coaster ride with this series and ill definitely recommend this book to anyone who wouldn’t mind a bit of toxicity in their life.

Honestly, I loved this book so damn much! I can’t wait to read more of Lola’s books now.

Overall Opinion :
Jake and Jamie are here. I will admit that I picked this one up as a last resort because I knew it had cheating and that is not a trope I like reading that much. I was very intrigued about how all the characters came to meet each other and was especially curious about Nathan.

I completely read this one for Nathan because the main leads seemed pretty immature to me. The h was a horribly dumb lol and got played left and right and then she also deliberately cheated on the H with his brother. Somewhere in between all of this , Jake also cheated a lot on Jamie and then had the very balls to have trust issues. I detest that type of idiots who can’t take what they have been giving right from the start and I immediately lost interest in these two as a couple from that moment.

Nathan however was the highlight of this series for me. I believe he is at his most unhinged in this series and I loved highlighting his scenes because he made the best appearances! If you are a fan of the toxic couple trope with cheating, then feel free to go for this trilogy but don’t have any hopes for Grovel , redemption or even basic character development lol.

This is the complete trilogy of the Giving Away series Jake white and Jamie Williams bulky dark Romance. Jamie Williams always curious and not realizing she shouldn’t be lurking about should be done. Jake and his twin sister Rose White had a terrible childhood. They were abused and they found the opportunity to leave and get the help they needed. Being adopted by Chris’s parents. Anyways. In these three stories we are walking through the ups and down of Jake and Jamie’s romance. Once strangers, then Jamie sees something she shouldn’t. Then trying to play detective gets her the attention of Jake White, the bad boy that has the up and down relationship with a girl who doesn’t treat him right. Jamie wants to be left alone, focus on her school work and lacross to get her scholarship to the university of her choice. But, the man she met at church isn’t who he said he is. As all the pieces of chess are in place. A rogue chest piece sees its opportunity to come out and shatter the game of cat and mouse Jake wants to play with Jamie. But Jamie’s feelings are not to be played with..

The first two books have cliffhangers and we follow their senior year of high school. Oh man I forgot how these two made my heart race with all their antics. The first book Giving Away blew had me on the edge of my seat. 2nd, Jake wanted a real relationship with Jamie. 3rd Jamie and Jake couldn’t keep away from each other even though they said to get away from one another. Plus two extra stories of older Jake and Jamie amd the rest of the gang, Chris, ? , Rosie and Emily, Aaron ah who’s next?

Thank you to Valentine PR and Lola King for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

This book (which is actually an entire series with on omnibus style package) is not for the faint of heart. This is a dark romance that is heavy on the trigger and content warnings. This is also a bully romance, so don’t enter this book unless you know you enjoy those tropes. I personally love a bully romance; however, this was not an all time favorite. I liked the pacing of the book, and I liked our FMC. But I had a hard time connecting to her at moments. Also, the MMC just didn’t do it for me. This was all personal to me, and others who love dark romance/bully romance may still love the MCs. But I definitely had a hard time connecting which made it harder for me to be locked into the storyline!

Jamie is a good girl who always does what she’s told and never gets in trouble. Her only downfall is her curiosity.
Jake is one of the twins who run the school. Nobody messes with them. He is the good looking boy who gets all the girls without even trying.
Jamie’s curiosity gets the best of her and Jake takes matters into his own hands. He wants her and they are both drawn to each other in a way they can’t explain.

Their story is one of ups and downs with twists that you never in a million years see coming. The character growth Lola King is able to achieve is something not a lot of authors are able to do. She transforms curious Jamie into a strong FMC who accepts who she is and is able to hold her own and she takes Jake from a hard ass who doesn’t listen to anyone to a man completely dedicated to doing anything for his girl. Even the soft stuff.
Infinity stars for this series! It was absolute perfection and I’m obsessed!

The bonus scenes made this series even better and I didn’t think that was possible!

Don’t mind me. Just re-read the whole thing because I can’t seem to move on. The chokehold these two have on me needs to be studied. Hands down my favorite dark romance trilogy of all time. Now, I don’t know what that says about me but I don’t particularly care and here we are. The bonus “ending” couldn’t have been more perfect.

Stoneview Stories is the complete trilogy of all the Stoneview Stories by Lola King, and let me tell you, you won't want to miss this one. I love Lola King's books, and this trilogy is so incredible with its fair share of sassy, spunky females, and sexy possessive male characters. This is a series that will draw you in almost instantly, keep you hooked and invested all the way through, and will have you so obsessed you will want to cry when it ends. There is so many twists and turns, secrets, and lots of smut. Grab your copy today.

= ARC REVIEW =

biggest thanks to Valentine PR and Lola King for the opportunity to read the arc of Stoneview Stories. i am truly honored 🫶🏻

this was one absolute hell of a ride !!!! wow 👏🏻

it was quite long but i genuinely enjoyed reading this book. the storyline had some interesting twists. the spice was also really “good”😈

the only reason i didn’t give it a 5-star rating was because despite whatever Jake went through before, it still didn’t justify some of his actions 😥 however, it’s totally understandable because this is a bully romance after all.. it’s just my soft heart couldn’t just take it ✌🏻

and if i had to choose, i’d choose Nathan over Jake 😌

if you’re into dark bully romances, you will definitely enjoy this book <3

Thank you to Valentine PR for a copy of the complete Stoneview Stories trilogy, including a bonus novella. These books, as well as the omnibus, are all available on Kindle Unlimited.

For the sake of keeping this spoiler-free, I will just give the synopsis for book one, Giving In.

Jamie is kind of a ‘wrong side of the tracks’ girl who is scraping by living on the right side. She isn’t an outcast per se, but she also doesn’t totally fit in. She mostly keeps to herself, occasionally letting her best friend pull her out of her shell. Unfortunately, she caught the unwanted attention of Jake.
Jake is a golden boy from the outside, tortured and dangerous on the inside. When he finds out that Jamie is digging around into their connected pasts after discovering a link between her murdered father and missing brother to someone who’s been seen with Jake and twin sister Rose.

Equal parts bullied and worshipped by Jake, and full-on bullied by Jake’s ex and her group of mean girl friends, Jamie is trying to be left alone to hang out with her new love interest, an older guy not at Stoneview Prep. However when she starts poking around into the disappearance/murder of her brother, she attracts unwanted attention from Jake who has set his sights on her and is not willing to let her go so easily.

I’m not sure if it is because I knew that I was getting a full trilogy throughout my reading or what, but book one felt like it was very light on material. I got a nice overview of the story, but overall it felt lacking. Luckily, because I knew it was a trilogy and I knew we’d get more ‘guts’ (the entire omnibus is over 1,000 pages so plenty of ground to cover) it didn’t bother me. And I was not disappointed - we did get more in depth character studies, more backstory, and more immersement into the Stoneview world.

Jamie is our doe-eyed innocent schoolgirl who is known as “Goody” and while that is typically the character type that I cannot stand, I loved her. She was a ‘good girl’ for all intents and purposes but due to her past and some of the things she experienced, she wasn’t quite as naive as that personality usually is and it elevated her character greatly for me. Jake was a tough one, I was so frustrated with him throughout almost the entire series. He was very clearly tortured, same as his twin sister Rose, but I just wanted to smack some sense and love into him! Rose was my favorite. Almost all of the sad backstory characters in books have defense mechanisms, usually involving pushing people away and blocking people out, but one of my favorite ways to approach that is substance abuse, and Rose definitely struggles with too much partying.

This series takes readers through a variety of emotions while tackling a variety of relationships: parent-child, friendships, frenemies, abusive, and romantic. There are also themes of physical and emotional abuse, abandonment, death of a parent, bullying, light bondage, control, among other potential triggers. Some tropes explored are bully romance, love triangle, and mafia romance.

Lola prefaces this series with the insight that not everyone we meet is good and some are wholly unredeemable and for the most part, I found that to be very accurate. While I ended with an overall understanding of all of the characters we met with the exception of one, there were times throughout my journey that I was not sure I would be able to get on board with Jake or his brother, Nate.

This was my first experience reading an entire series front to back and it was very enjoyable. Even when I begin a completed series, I typically jump around between books so having it in an omnibus format was so nice and kept me invested in focusing on just these people and their story. I definitely plan to read the other books within this universe: Rose’s Duet (completed) and North Shore Stories (continuing). I would love to see a side series focusing on Nathan and maybe a novella about Jamie’s mom too.

Stoneview Stories by Lola King is the compilation of the novels Giving In, Giving Away, Giving Up that make up this Trilogy and the novel One Last Kiss plus an extended epilogue, here we will meet Jamie Williams, this is a shy, intelligent girl, with a good heart and always worried about doing good and not disappointing her mother and being faithful to what her father always taught her, she has few friends and with few resources she can study at Stoneview Preo thanks to the help they received after the death of her father who was the sheriff of Stoneview and was killed by the Wolves, on that fateful night Jamie's brother disappeared and she was injured, this has scarred her and she has constant nightmares about that night, when her last year of high school begins she finds out that the White twins were promote a year and they will be in classes with her. Jake White is one of the popular boys in high school, he is handsome and he knows it, along with his twin Rose, his adoptive brother Chris and his best friend Luke, they are the Kings of Stoneview Prep, but he is not just a pretty face, he also has brains and is a very good athlete, when he is moved forward a year with his twin, he notices this little girl who he had never paid attention to but there is something about her that intrigues him, when he gets her listening to a conversation that it was private, he decides to harass and bully her to keep her mouth shut, but that conversation that Jamie hear gives her the possibility of getting closer to the answers that she has never stopped looking for about his brother. From that moment Jamie's life will become complicated and to say that it takes a turn is to describe it in a soft way, she will be hit with a reality that she never imagined and she will be entangled in power games and she will not come out completely unscathed.
I could spend hours talking about this story, but I can only tell you that you must prepare yourself because this journey is not an easy one, it's twisted, dark, and although it has a happy ending, you will have to suffer until you get there. To be honest, I did not finish connecting with Jake, his way of acting and the things he did when he said that he loved her were not forgivable for me, I would have wanted when Chris confronted him that he would have admitted his mistakes and show some sincere regret but it came off too easy and Chris got distracted by something that wasn't half as bad as what Jake had done, and yes, I do fully understand his injuries and everything he'd been through but Jamie was this girl trying to find herself and he hurt her a lot, for me Nathan had more redemption than Jake, but well that's how I perceived them, that's why I didn't get five stars with this story, I love the other characters and I want their stories too, really I'm delighted with the way Lola King writes, as she presents us with these characters that are so complex but so human. I invite you to read it and we can discuss it because I have a loooooot to talk about hehe. Highly recommended!

¡Altamente Recomendada!

Book Review 📚
Stoneview Stories by Lola King - 4/5 ⭐

All 3 books in 1!

Book 1 - Giving in.

Firstly, prologue - make sure you read it. I usually skip it as I like to be surprised but I was instantly attracted to the prologue and it definitely sets the scene for you so it's a must.

It's starts with a slow burn, but not in a way that makes you want to DNF. It keeps you hooked and intrigued not matter how slow burn it was. King has managed to portray Jamie in an amazing way. Some times Im thinking she's just this young, stupid, naive girl but at the same time she's strong willed, cold hearted and not that stupid at all. She's an amazing chapter and written beautifully.

There is a TONNE of chemistry throughout the book and it definitely keeps you wanting more. There is so much teasing that you feel like you can't stop reading until you get what you want! Overall it's a fantastic start to the trilogy and I'm definitely continuing this journey.

Book 2 - Giving Away.

The more time you spend reading these characters the more you want. Your teased throughout and your just not getting enough (thank god for book 3!). We jump straight in to where book 1 ends and it follows on from the exact moment it ends.

Book 2 has so much more character development then book 1 which is great! Books 1 is all about setting the scene and getting to know the characters and the story's behind them, book 2 goes deeper into their development and everything they're doing/going through. King has a great imagination for being able to set the scene for you and bringing it all to life.

Jamie takes one hell of a turn in book 2 - she's no long naive or stupid. No no, she's the BOSS. I loved watching her grow more and seeing a completely different side, to not only her, but the other characters as well.

Book 3 - Giving Up.

King manages to round up everything perfectly. I wasn't left wondering about anything or anything. There was greatness throught the entirety. I'm happy to say it ends phenomenally.

Jamie went through hell and back but she didn't fall. Throughout the entire trilogy you definitely saw her change of character and from where she started to where she ended is one huge difference. This girl should be so proud of everything she went through and King definitely done her character justice.

There is so much plot development and character development in all 3 books and you can definitely see the changes play out in front of you as you read. I was sad but also happy when it came to an end. I didn't want it to end but at the same time it ended perfectly.

Blurb:
Jake
- Three Years. In the afternoon she was spying on me like a fan girl. By the evening I figured I had threatened her enough to stay silent. Guess I will need to get a little more creative since my threats didn’t work on her. I have time on my hands, darkness on my mind, and a hundred ways to make Jamie Williams bend to my will.

Stoneview Stories by Lola King is a complete trilogy. The following books are included: Giving In, Giving Away, and Giving Up, as well as a bonus novella entitled One Last Kiss.

Stoneview Stories was a very enjoyable read. One of my favorite things about each of the parts/books was that the prologues and epilogues were perfectly connected. I tend to enjoy books that start with a piece of the ending. I felt super engaged trying to figure out how the rest of the chapters and the prologue were connected. The cliffhangers and plot twists had me struggling to put the book down!

The characters went through a lot. But, there was such amazing character development, especially for Jake and Jamie. Jake easily had one of my favorite developments between part one and part two. It’s here we actually see how much he cares about Jamie. On the other hand, Jamie develops into a strong woman and is no longer the shy girl from the beginning of the book.

If you’re looking for a dark high school bully romance, this one is for you!!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is a dark high school bully romance. You will want to check out the warnings at the beginning of the book. This is also the entire series in one book. This is the story of Jeanie and Jake. Jamie is a girl who has a very curious nature that often gets her in situations she otherwise wouldn't be in. She is also a good girl with a big heart and stays out of trouble. Jake is a twin and together with said twin they rule the school. You do not mess with them and you will fall at their feet for sure if you are a teenage girl. They don't even have to put any effort into girls at all. Jake knows what he wants when he wants it and he has his mind set on Jamie. Remember that curious nature I told you about. It lands Jamie right in Jake's path and things get really interesting. This book is full of all sorts of emotions, twists and turns. I have to say that things happened in this book that I never saw coming, ever. I loved watching Jamie grow in this book. She isn't afraid to be who she is and can hold her own when it comes to Jake where at first he was a little overwhelming to her. Jake also grows in this book from the stubborn as all get out guy who never ever listened to a single thing that anyone tried to tell him. He is so hardheaded that he will do what he wants to or die on that hill trying. But the change in him is so amazing to witness. I won't spoil it and tell you how he changes but it was something to witness that you don't think you will see happen in this book. I loved reading this book and it is one you will not want to lay down.

stoneview stories is a complete trilogy, meaning there are 3 books in one! it’s a collection of giving in, giving away, and giving up by lola king. there’s also a novella included at the end called one last kiss!

i just want to preface this by saying this is a dark bully romance. please check all TWs before reading!

jamie williams goes to stoneview prep and is captain of the lacrosse team. it starts off with her starting her senior year in high school. it’s been three years since her dad’s murder and her older brother’s disappearance. her dad was the sheriff of the town, super respected and that’s how she got into the expensive stoneview prep. she lives with her mom and they’re not well off by any means.

starting senior year, she catches the eye of golden boy jake white. him and his twin, rose white, have grown up in a terrible environment and he has soooo many demons. he gets off on bullying jamie and ends up falling in love with her.

i really enjoyed this book, i absolute love bully romances and dark romances. there’s soooo much plot to it and the smut is 👌🏼

i liked jamie’s character growth — she’s no longer some mousey girl by the end of the trilogy. jake’s character growth was amazing considering everything. i simply cannot describe this trilogy in a caption where i have a character limit, but 10/10 recommend!

this book includes:
spice
bully romance
virgin fmc
love triangle
enemies to lovers
small town romance
mafia/gang
somnophilia

The Best thing about this is it's a box set of my favorite couple Jake and Jamie I honestly cannot get enough of them!

Giving In the drama, suspense, and angst! jake and all his possessiveness is straight addicting! it's been over a year since I read this one and stepping into this world again I was hooked! I enjoy how he goes against his brother to prove a point on just how much Jamie is his!

Giving Away Nate becomes the jerk we all know him to be but Jamie girl of course had me yelling at her because she can't decide which brother she wants more. The cat and mouse game in this one is so addicting. I love Rose as well! gah i miss that girl! the panty melting dirty talk I'm here for it

Giving Up this book grabs you by the balls! lol like literally it's an emotional read and has me all in my feelings the three times i have read it now! Jake and Jamie get a beautiful love is tough book with this one and their conclusion is defiantly worth all the crap they go through to get to where they are.

One Last Kiss Jake and Jamies novella! I'm so glad we got more! and omg the extended epilogue or whatever you want to call it that is included in the end of this box set just let me know how much I truly love jake and Jamie's story! now if Nate gets one, I'm all here for it! I love Rose and her boys! this one may contain spoilers but i also recommend Roses books as well!

Thank you LOLA for pulling me back into this world with this boxset!

Giving In (Stoneview Stories, #1)
3.5*
Dark, twisted, mysterious, steamy, bully romance. This is Jaime and Jake's story. I like the story but Jaime's character I think she needs to have a bit of a backbone, she comes off as if she is something she's not like she's going to stand up for herself but ends up being pushed around not only by Jake but other classmates too because she is small and weak which I don't get if she's a star lacrosse player you would think she can handle herself a little better. Then thinking she's going to confront a gang that killed her father and try to make them tell her what happened to her brother is a bit crazy considering she can't even stand up to kids her own age. Jake is you typical bad boy bully with secrets you want to know. Then comes in the mysterious Nathan who Jaime meets and starts seeing and I find this part interesting and want to know his story too.

Giving Away
3*

This is the second part. Jake and Jaime's relationship is still going back and forth, up and down. Still can't believe how naive Jaime is and it's irritating because she's suppose to be so smart yet makes not so smart choices. I like some of the storyline and the other characters and more invested on the going on in that part of the story. Especially the cliffhanger.

Giving Up
3*
Liked the storyline and the characters, but I don't know there's something about Jaime acting she can handle people and be feisty then gets beat or pushed around and what I can't fathom is she is a lacrosse player and captain at that but is the weakest of everyone. Also the choices she keeps making repeatedly (I'm not talking about the relationship between her and Jake that I understand).

One Last Kiss
3*

This is a short quick story. This takes place a couple years later. Interesting to see what everyone was up to. A bit disappointing that Jaime hasn't really changed all that much to me. Can't wait to read the other characters who have their story out.

I really believe that moments in life can definitely have an effect on what I read for whatever reason, but reading the whole Stoneview Stories this round showed me that I loved the first book so much more this round. Yeah, our hero could almost be too much in his bullying, and yet, the whole trilogy with a novella thrown in as a bonus round really had me falling for him hard. I started it over a weekend, and I swear I got nothing else done until I had devoured every last book as I couldn't put it down for anything. Our heroine, Jamie is the epitome of a good girl who doesn't step out of line, however, she has a lot of curiosity which can blur that good girl line once she's on the hunt for answers. This curiosity is what got her caught up in the crosshairs of Jake, the ruler of the school she went to, and the crazy bullying popped off. I mean, he was drawn to her sure, and he would have never let anyone else touch her but he did do some things that had me ready to throat punch him. On the flip side, Jamie started to soften him up as they went along as she was drawn to him as well despite the chaos of his actions so these opposites were actually perfect for each other as they sizzled off the pages. There's the suspense portion of the program as well with baddies in the mix with a kicker of great supporting cast as well. I'm so glad I got to reread the first book, and everything else that followed as I couldn't get enough & I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This was my first introduction to Lola King and what a roller-coaster it has been!

*Lots of triggers here. Please heed the trigger warnings*

If you love bully romance that has angst and incredibly hot, schmexy scenes, then this will be your jam. I personally LOVED it. 🥵🥵

Jake is deeply flawed and emotionally broken, and I liked him because of it and despite its deep hold on him. Jaime's character really developed throughout the series, and I am proud of who she became by the end of their story. She embraced who she is and what she loves. There's so much strength in that!

Rose....I really, really LOVE Rose. She has strength in spades and dang if it wasn't a joy to "watch" her evolve. Her trauma was no joke and at times it was tough reading about it. But her commitment to not letting it define her was amazing.

Nathan - He's hot, trouble, and worthy of all the bad thoughts you may have of him. He was a fun one.

I loved the side characters, too. Even crazy Camilla was a well-written piece of this trilogy.

Long story short, I loved it and highly recommend. I'm already looking forward to seeing what comes next.

I just love Lola King. Her bully, dark romance books with severe trigger warnings just do it for me. I loved Beautiful Fiend – which set the bar high for me – and honestly I loved this trilogy almost just as much. I'd say the series as a whole was around a 3.5/3.75 for me, mainly because some of the "will they won't they" was agonizing and a little drawn out plus I'm never a fan of even sort-of-love-triangles. But the dark part of the dark romance was giving and I was entertained until the very end.

Jake and Jamie (Goody) were toxic as FUCK and I loved every second of it. Lola just knows how to write a morally grey, almost borderline unredeemable anti-hero – it's truly a gift of hers. Jamie got on my nerves sometimes but she really grew so much over the trilogy -- everyone did tbh -- and I came to love her and Jake towards the end.

I also LOOOOVED getting the epilogues and wedding and all the loose ends tying up, it was amazing.

Overall, I'm a Lola King stan and this was an amazing ride.

Thank you so much to to Lola King and Valentine PR for allowing me to receive an ARC of this book! This book was one of the best books I’ve read in quite some time. It took me a while to finish it due to the fact that it is 3 books in one book but I persevered and finished it! This book made me feel so many emotions and was absolutely perfect in every way! The story of Jamie and Jake was crazy from start to finish but it made me love the characters even more. When I first started down a dark romance sort of path I wasn’t a fan of the overbearing type but I think Jake changed that for me because I think I love him. This book had so much spice and darkness that I was actually squirming thinking about it. It’s available July 7 and if you have Kindle Unlimited you can read it for free!!! This book got five stars from me and 3 🌶️ for spice quality. I’m thoroughly impressed and I don’t know how I will move on now.

If you're looking for a book that has so many morally grey men, mafia links mixed into a high school bully romance then this is the one for you.

Jake White. The big 'i am' at school, every girl wants to be with him and every guy wants to be him, so what happens when a curious nobody Jamie Williams finds herself on his radar? He's going to have her, it doesn't matter whether she wants him or not, she's his forever and that's that.

The relationships within this trilogy are so good, the whole development to strangers to lovers and everything in-between is something I've thoroughly enjoyed reading. This is one of the few books where I've rooted for our FMC to get with several different people, though the best choice was made in the end.

There were so many twists and turns I found myself physically gasping at certain points, I couldn't stop reading.

If you're wishing to read please check the trigger warnings as this isn't an easy read.
