This is my first book from K. E. Osborn and I loved it. The book was everything that I ever wanted and more.

I had soo much fun reading it. The story was really good. The MC were perfect for each other and you can definately feel the instant attraction between them.

Like in every book we had some drama, but it was resolved quickly 😁. Everything that I hoped for was there: funny moments, interesting story (that get's you deep in the book), love, romance and most importantly for me steam and spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️.

To summarize everything: For me the book was perfect and I can't wait to read more books from this author.

It took me a bit to get into this story but now that I’ve finished it and found it quite enjoyable, I’m pretty sure it was just me used to reading a different type of romance from this author and my brain just couldn’t compute when I started. LOL Even though my reading experience as a whole turned out to be positive, there is one thing I want to mention that really made me #twitchy about the storyline.

Despite any of the #twitchy, Hostile Hearts was a story that kept me on my toes with its drama and action, maybe a little too much action for a romance fiction story not categorized as suspense. I enjoyed Nash and Brianna’s character development in the story except I am not a fan of grown people communicating like teenagers and gaaaahhh, that theme ran rampant in this story! There’s a whole bunch of story outside of Nash & Brianna that is part of this book and some of those plot-points felt glossed over to me. They needed more depth to me and because they were superficial, I wondered why even have them as part of the story.

If I nitpick this story, it will probably fall under the 3-star shelf or even less for me, but as a whole, I think it deserves more than that but not enough to make it 4-stars. So, for me, it was a solid 3.5 star read and not too bad of a start to a new series! I’m looking forward to Luca’s story and to catching up on the NOLA Defiance MC very soon!

Hostile Hearts follows billionaire Nash Harrington as he navigates his life as he starts his company away from his toxic father. Brianna is an independent business owner and when Nash hires her on to help with an event, magic happens!

KE Osborn is a new to me author. I thought this story was OK. I despise a miscommunication trope and that’s what this story is. But let’s start off, what I like about this book.

First, I did enjoy the authors writing. She was able to keep me engaged, the story had a nice flow, and each character had a part not just as a filler throughout the book.

Second, Nash. He knows he has issues. He know what he needs to do overcome those issues. He is strong, yet admits when he is weak. Love his character!

Here is what I didn’t like:

One, as I mentioned above the miscommunication trope. It was all over the book and drove me nuts! I feel like the miscommunication trope is used when there is no imaginative plan for the story. Yes, I know that’s harsh and honestly that’s not my intent here, but just an opinion.

Second, Brianna. Her character started off strong. I love an independent, entrepreneur, FMC. However, she went downhill fast for me. Her mind changed every 5 seconds causing my whiplash. She knew what she wanted but then 5 seconds later she hears something and her mind was changed. these are follower traits not independent businesswomen she is in the book.

Third, too many villains in the kitchen. There needed to be one concise villain. I feel that if there was one villain it would have been a better story. I would have loved to have more villain-y scenes with the dad. There could have been so much more content I feel like.

Overall, this was a quick read and I thought it was OK.

Absolutely amazing read! I was hooked from the start. OMG the characters were wonderful and relatable. Fire and stubborn great combination for Nash and Brianna. I feel that as I read the story these two were meant to be but will and can it happen?
K.E. has great writing skills and knows how to hook you into the story and feel the words on the page. You'll laugh and cry but you'll feel and that's a great writer.
Nash is a driven business man going out on his own and he wants the one client that got away (stolen) in order to grab him for his company he gives a grand jester to win the client over. Now he needs the best event planner in New Orleans. Brianna is the best at what she does, create events. Nash barges into her business demanding her complete devotion to his event and Brianna shoots him down because of his arrogance. Will these two make it through the event?

4.25 STARS—HOSTILE HEARTS is the first instalment in KE Osborn’s contemporary, adult REVEL ROSE BILLIONAIRES erotic, romance series-a spin off from the author’s NOLA Defiance MC series. This is twenty-nine year old, acquisition and mergers manager Nash Harrington, and event planner Brianna Cox’s story line. Nash Harrington is the step-brother to Hurricane and Bayou, son to Ingrid, and brother to Novah (NOLA Defiance MC). You do not have to have read the previous series but there may be some back story revealed in the MC series.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Nash and Brianna) HOSTILE HEARTS follows in the wake of Nash Harrington venturing away from his father’s control, starting a business of his own. Years early, Nash’s father left the family having had a secret family on the side. Fast forward to present day wherein Nash, having been set up to take a fall by his father, and losing his largest account to a business rival, sets out on his own, in the hopes of surpassing his father’s control. Desperate to regain control of his lost account, Nash hires successful event planner Brianna Cox, the woman with whom he will fall in love but Brianna and Nash’s pasts about to collide, and Brianna finds herself torn between friendship, duty and contractual obligations, obligations that will pick friend against foe. What ensues is the building but forbidden relationship between Brianna and Nash, and the potential fall-out as misunderstanding, miscommunication, jealousy and revenge pull our couple in opposite directions.

Nash Harrington knew one day he would surpass his father in power and control but blindsided by backstabbing family and friends, Nash must take control of his life, beginning with distancing himself from sins of the past. Meeting Brianna Cox stirs something deep within our story line hero but Brianna’s place in his life comes with questionable associations, associations that could break our story line hero. Brianna Cox doesn’t want to destroy a life-long friendship but contractual obligations and fear of reprisal force our heroine to hurt someone she loves.

The relationship between Brianna and Nash begins as a business arrangement one in which Nash pushes a little too hard. Put off and put out by our story line hero, Brianna struggles with her attraction to a man that could all but destroy her business and her heart. The $ex scenes are passionate, seductive and intense.

We are introduced to Brianna’s roommate Paisley, and her best friend Blake, as well as Nash’s friends Lucas, Cam and Asher, as well as the cameo of Hurricane, Bayou, Novah and Ingrid.

HOSTILE HEARTS is a story of betrayal and vengeance, secrets, power and control, attraction and obsession, acceptance, forgiveness and love. The premise is emotional and engaging; the romance is captivating and erotic; the characters are energetic, powerful and charismatic.

Combining 2 great & very very VERY different worlds of billionaire's business world & NOLA Defiance MC.

Nash's family history is not straigh forward HOWEVER he found it in his step brother Hurrican who is the prez of NOLA Defiance MC. I really recommend Hurrican story "Gravitate" which is book 1 for this chapter. Nash is now a CEO of his own company and he going to prove his worth but first he needs to organise a gala for a important client...

Brianna is a event planner and let's just say Nash was a very upfront customer for his gala plans...no spoilers. Brianna is overwhelmed with strange emotions she has for Nash that evoles her begin feisty towards him which leads to a deal....

"I'd follow you to the ends of the earth, i'm loving the view"

I love that these two did not get on straight away but we learn their boundaries for each other...which gets very hot & spicey and they have alot of respect for each other until a certain man that stands in the middle of these two. I did not know were it was going to go just get ready for the RIDE that will keep you at the end of your seat with their romance & careers AND wild & colourful characters

I love that she got the sister Novah approval who I love! I LOVE the bro & sis bound they have full of love & respect & childish wind ups 😆

I can not wait for Novah story & let's see who can take them on:
"Three older brothers. One...billion‐dollar CEO, the other two...outlaw bikers. Do you think any man is going to get anywhere near me?"

Oh and best friend approval Lucas who will make you smile none stop.
"Girly shit freaks me the hell out. I mean, what is this? A dildo? "
He holds up a hair straighteners...
"It's for straightening my hair, Lucas. Does everything have a sexual connotation with you?"

Yes he is a colourful character and he needs his own book too !!

Hostile Hearts is book one in the brand new series Revel Rose Billionaires. This is an enemies to lovers, billionaire romance. The story focuses on Nash Harrington and Brianna Cox. If you've been reading the NOLA Defiance MC Series then you'll recognize Nash from there and see some guest appearances from that series.

Nash is driven, arrogant, and currently motivated by his need to out do his father. He's also surprisingly sweet, has culinary skills, and is a very caring person deep down. He carries a lot of baggage from his childhood.

Brianna is independent, sassy, and hard working. I like how she stands her ground and handled chaotic situations with class. She did lack in communication, at least with Nash, and jumped to too many conclusions without hearing anyone out.

The plot contained rivalary, revenge, family drama, angst, and some steamy moments. The story was easy to read, entertaining and had strong supporting characters. I gotta say though, the whole 60/40 scenario is crazy to me, I felt that was a slap in the face to Lucas. Speaking of Lucas, I am super curious about him and if he pursues a certain someone.

I also must say, I do not like how Nash treats and talks about his step siblings, Bayou and Hurricane. Even after they saved his butt he still acts holier then thou. Drives me crazy and is a turn off. Speaking of Bayou, his appearance with Novah has me getting psyched up for their book!! I'm sure we will be seeing more of Nash and Bri in future Revel Rose Series books as well as future NOLA Defiance books.

Yes! I love a good enemies to lovers story and this fit the bill to a T!!!! Nash and Brianna are perfect but of course don't start off in a good place. These 2 were perfect for each other and KE Osborn has written them both as I could imagine.

The chemistry with these 2 is evident in the beginning from the start when they meet. He is pushy, arrogant and goes into the meeting with confidence that some find offensive but Brianna is bowled over and has butterflies for this handsome man that she agrees to take him on as a client. Little does she know this will come back and bite her in a hard way!

These 2 were on fire from the first meeting and I loved every minute of the show. The back and forth with them was the best and I loved how she did what she wanted and didn't follow his commands and expectations for how she works. He was demanding and she put him into his place. Nash just wanted everything to go perfect but also tried to keep the building feelings for B at bay.

I could go on and on with this but would suggest you read it for yourself. I am not the best at writing reviews but it is what I am feeling at this moment and hopefully you will take a chance on this author with this story or any of her others.

Holy hotness! K.E. Osborn brings loads of heat in Hostile Hearts, an enemies to lovers billionaire workplace romance. Nash and Brianna are explosive together.

Nash Harrington has spent his life to make a name for himself and show his good for nothing father that he is better. After a bad incident in his old company ( that is owned by his father), he left it and founded his own. To land a big account that will put his company at a great place, he has to hold a stunning fundraiser. And Brianna has a reputation of being one of the best event coordinators in New Orleans. He instantly feels a burn for her but she is off limits for so many reasons. Being his enemy's best friend is just one of them. But that isn't going to stop them at the end.

Nash is the typical billionaire badboy you love to hate and hate to love. Issues a mile long. Needing control over everything in his life. Intense. Bossy. And a total a##hole one moment, a charmer in the next. Brianna is definitely his perfect match. She is fierce and independent. It would be so easy to give in to Nash' sex appeal and cocky arrogance. But she resisted till the last end and showed him that she won't be tamed. The chemistry is the hero of the story. Whenever they come in the same room or alley or just anywhere..it's fireworks everywhere. They had to deal with a lot of drama and I was getting a bit frustrated with how they made things unnecessarily complicated when those issues can be solved by just simple communication. But they have a great group of friends and family who pushed them to get their head straight.

This was the first book I have read from the author and I enjoyed it. The attraction between the leads was palpable and the forbidden love aspect was leverage really well. The spice is immaculate.

The book is a pretty fast paced read that can be completed in one sitting. And because of that, I wished more focus was placed on resolving the conflict between the female lead’s best friend and the male lead rather than introducing new characters and unnecessary drama. I felt that happening in the last 20% was a turn off and especially since the female’s best friend had betrayed the male lead in such a big way, I felt it was more important to put more time into building back that trust.

Thank you Valentine PR for the arc

I was reading another book while reading this one. It trapped me in so much I had to stop the other book to fully focus on it.
I don’t even know where to start. First of all kind of wish I knew about the author more cause I found a ton of amazing books she’s wrote with fantastic reviews so can’t wait to start the NOLA defiance series as the characters feature in this book.

Nash was like the ultimate arrogant egotistical billionaire you expect but we really got to see this vulnerable part of him that I absolutely loved to she in a fictional man.

Brianna has my heart she is like a bad ass business women that let’s know one tell her what to do but the fact she gets affected by Nash and risks her friendship with Blake for them is so cute.

Hated Blake cause I knew he would ruin something for them but not as much as I hated Felicity and Nash’s father that bastard.

Absolutely hurt my heart when there was this massive ass miscommunication between them I was like NASH GET YOUR ASS TO NEW YORK ASAP!!!

Omg how can’t I forget. The SMUTTTT was like phenomenal like seriously K.E. Osborn is like a genius with the way they write the smut in this book.

What a roller coaster ride. Nash and Brianna first meet when Nash hires her to win over a client. They get along well, contracts are signed, simple right? They both have an attraction to one another and it’s obvious but they pretend it doesn’t exist. What happens when Brianna’s best friend is Nash’s enemy? Enemies to lovers takes on a whole new meaning with these two. The banter and tension between them was SO good. Just when I thought I had them both figured out, something else would happened that had my jaw dropping. Definitely a great enemies to lovers billionaire story full of tension, spice, and magic.

After meeting Nash in the NOLA Defiance series, I was so hoping that he would get his own story! I knew it would take a special woman to put him in his place. Brianna is absolutely perfect for him! She has the fire and sass to handle him and enough love to remind him he IS worthy. An amazing start to a new series!

ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review

This is the first book by K.E. Osborn out of the Defiance MC series that I read and I loved it. Nash is without a doubt hottest hero from this author to date, and alongside Brianna they have a story of growth, forgiveness, support, love and friendship that I enjoyed much more than I imagined, plus the supporting characters are out of this world and I can't wait to read ALL of them.

I have to say that at first I was a bit scared about Nash, I can't deny that he's a jerk most of the time, that sometimes he flirts too much and that he's quite possessive for my taste, BUT it was impossible for me NOT to love him!: from the first time he meets Bri he reveals a completely different side of himself, a sweet, adorable, thoughtful and full of hidden charms. plus, I really liked that the story continued with the plot that we saw about him in Isolate, that it let us see more of his family life, how his father's abandonment affected him, and how much he cares about Nova and her mom.

I LOVED Brianna from the beginning, I really liked her story of friendship with Blake, knowing how important he is in her life and how much they both love and care about each other, but the best thing about her is her personality: she's a strong, dedicated, hard-working, courageous woman who says what she wants, thinks and feels and I really liked her way of handling all the situation between Nash & Blake, the constant tension, problems and situations since Nash hired her and how she fights to achieve her dreams.

As well as how amazing Nash & Brianna are as individual characters, they have a VERY interesting love story: I've never read the rival's best friend trope (it's a trope, right? ), and I loved it!, in addition to being very surprised to learn the true origin of the enmity between Blake & Nash, I really liked the attitude with which Bri faced everything between them and how everything was resolved at the end of the book, I also think that despite the constant arguments and tension between Nash & Brianna, the important issues were resolved in a much more mature way than I expected, making me love every single moment of it that much more: how easy the two conect from the start, how nice Nash was always to Brianna, and the way she made him confront his feelings and desires.

And in closing, I think it's safe to say that there's no one happier than me that this is going to be a series! I really hope everyone in Nash's group of friends has their own story, including Blake, because I can't wait to read them all, they are VERY funny and interesting characters. Though I also have to say that I wasn't expecting the turn that Lucas & Paisley’s (I think) life is going to take in the next book, plus I'm hoping that Blake & Zoey be a couple! and I hope that K.E. fulfills this wish.

🇪🇸

I make no efforts to hide that KE Osborn is my favourite author and I am always eagerly awaiting her next release.

We’ve already heard snippets from Nash as he is the stepbrother to Hurricane and Bayou from the Nola MC’s series, also amazing books. So his book was well received. After the drama from his poor decision whilst working at his Dad’s company, Nash has now started his own and wants to make his mark on the work of finance in New Orleans. He is determined to steal a client from his Dad’s company and in order to do so needs a event coordinator to help him organise a gala and convince the Client to work with him. The rest is history.

Poor Nash has had very poor role model in his life, his father is a horrible man, but despite that he is such a good man and make sure to look after his Mum and sister, even if they don’t want it. Brianna is a determined women, who in her, Nash has met his match.

I have to admit at the beginning of the book once I’d put 2 and 2 together regarding Bri’s best friend and Nash’s worst enemy, Blake, I’d figured out how that relationship would end and I was correct. But I’m glad it ended up that way, couldn’t have ended up any different.

I loved the book and read it in a couple of hours. So excited to see that Lucas has a book and cannot wait for Bayou’s book, although we’ve been given a sneak preview of how that ends!!

Nash & Brianna ... just magical

I knew when I first met Nash in KE Osborn's NOLA Defiance MC series that this man would have to have his own book, a chance to tell his story, and here it is HOSTILE HEARTS, book #1 in the Revel Rose Billionaires series. Once again, KE had me glued to the pages and soaking up the words of this very hot, sexy, emotionally driven story. If you want a little background on Nash and how he is involved with NOLA Defiance MC I suggest you read Gravitate, however it is only a suggestion. For now, sit back and fan yourself over KE's new alpha, Nash Harrington.

"If I want something, I need to make it happen. I take what I want. Do I want Brianna? After tonight... yeah, I fucking do."

Nash Harrington is an arrogant, cocky, hardworking man who has the looks and the swagger that would melt any woman's panties and heart. From a heartbreaking childhood, to constantly trying to please a man who won't take notice, he's now decided to take control of his life both professionally and personally. He's formed his own company and is determined to succeed; all he needs is to gain one major client. Brianna Cox is at the top of her field as an event planner and coordinator. She's feisty, sexy, and able to stand her ground against anyone. She's also the kind of woman who could bring Nash to his knees. When Nash hires her to organise a gala for him, little does she realise what she has gotten herself in the middle of. Will she allow her heart to fall for a man she just met destroying a friendship she's had since childhood?

"You're A fiend"
"Only when it comes to you."

From the moment Nash and Brianna set eyes on one another, the sexual heat and tension between them is rife. Initially beginning as combatants, it's not long before Nash realises he needs Brianna in his life, however she fights him every step of the way, knowing he has the potential to ruin her personally and professionally. Between them there is a huge amount of intense passion, and the seductive games they play blaze with the heat of a wildfire. Jealousy, miscommunication, and misunderstanding could bring everything they have between them undone. I loved these two, they were so perfect together, with their feisty personalities and their sexual appetites.

"Brianna is the only woman I want. Brianna is the only woman I need. And right now, I am going to unequivocally show her."

HOSTILE HEARTS
was a wonderful, sexy, tension filled read. Not only does KE give her readers two superb main characters, who I fell in love with, she also assembles a cast of secondary characters who added so much humour to this story. Lucas, Nash's best buddy, was hilarious with all his sexual innuendoes, and Paisley, Brianna's BFF and roomie, was equally hilarious, and I loved her pet ... I want one too. I also enjoyed the little appearances from Novah, Bayou, and Hurricane. This was another KE book I could not put down, it was ... magical.

I am weird, but I think for this review, I want to give a road map to my thought process. I have decided to break it down into the plot and then what I thought of the characters.

The Plot:

I am not sure if I need a disclaimer here, but I figured it would be better to error on the safe side. This is my first K.E. book that's not Defiance (MC). It's also my first billionaire book in a really long time. I enjoy them like any other reader, but I was a little apprehensive.

Nash's story really begins in Isolate (NOLA Defiance Book 2). I did a happy dance when I figured this out. He's a hedge fund manager working under his oppressive father. Things are not good, and Nash ends up making a huge mistake that could have cost him everything. Now, he's back on his feet with revenge on his mind - steal his client back from his father's firm that was rudely taken from him.

I loved the plot of this book! Absolutely adored it. If you've read any of my reviews, you know I don't say that very often. I thought the business approach was realistic. Nash is ruthless in his pursuits. However, there's still that romantic charm that peaks through.

Meet the Characters:

Nash:

In Nash's mind, he's nothing like his stepbrothers. For one, they're criminals. Two, they're both patched in members of NOLA Defiance. Nash could never live that live style. He's always wanted to follow in his father's footsteps, and that's not like him. He's worked too hard to let anything stand in his way. Brianna doesn't know it, but after she wins his client over, she'll be his. Ring any familiar bells?

Brianna:

My first impression was that she's spunky. She'll take on Nash as a client, but that's it. She's not at his beck and call. The only problem is she'll have to continually enforce the rules of their contract. Nash doesn't own her, and she has no issue telling him.

Together:

I love good banter. It's amusing to watch two characters volley pot shots back and forth like a tennis match. The sparks are flying just as fast as the one-liners. The beginning of the story really sucks you in with that. You can't imagine how they are going to wade through all of their issues and come out on the other side. Around the 50% mark, things started to become a little less funny. There were a few situations where I thought these are children and not successful adults.

Nash Harrington didn’t always have the easy life .. between his father leaving his Mom and Sister at a young age and his Father making his adult life ..hmmmm .. lets just say interesting to say the least .. Nash turned out to be a strong, sexy, intelligent business man that know what he wants, needs and doesn’t care what gets in his way to obtain everything he wants and deserves !! And what he wants now is .. Brianna Cox but at what cost ??
In the New Orleans area Brianna is known as the Party Planner Extraordinaire .. if you have an event to plan Brianna will make sure it will be a raging success !! What Nash needs is for Bri Bri to pull out all the stops so he can sway Zeller Industries to make the move to Ensure Asset Management. Nash is good at what he does .. Very Very Good .. but his Dad will do anything to make sure that doesn’t happen even if it isn’t on the up and up.
But we all know there is always a BUT or a wrinkle in a plan and this one has a HUGE ONE !! Brianna is BEST FRIENDS with Blake, the head asset management team member that Nash is trying to steal back from Nash’s dad. Yes I said BEST FRIEND soooo if Brianna helps Nash she will ruin her friendship and if she doesn’t do it .. it will ruin her business for not full filling a contract she signed with Nash.
Oh BUT there is more .. Nash and Brianna have the feels for each other and it isn’t just a one night thing they have a electric lighting feeling about and around each other !!
Is loosing a friend over business worth it or loosing your future with someone you never saw coming ??
Loved this BOOK !! It was great seeing some member of the NOLA Defiance MC and cant wait for MORE !! Soooo Goooddddd !!

No longer working under his toxic father Nash Harrington has started his own company and there’s one client he’s eager to gain the business of, in order to do so he comes up with a grand jester, he’s going to put on a fundraising gala. Needing the help of an events planner sees him storming through the doors of one of the best there is in New Orleans. Brianna Cox is well known, her events business is highly successful and very much in demand so when Nash barges in demanding that she take him on as a client she initially tells him no, however the fee he offers her soon has her signing her name alongside his on the dotted line of a new contract between them. But was Brianna too hasty in agreeing to work with Nash? Finding out that the client he wants is one of her best friends biggest clients at work doesn’t sit well with Brianna but it’s too late now the contract’s been signed.

As the pair begin working together they grow closer to one another with Nash in particular making his attraction towards Brianna known on more than one occasion. Despite trying her hardest to resist Nash, Brianna succumbs to his charms with things going well between them until some unfortunate miscommunications sees things fall apart. Will they be able to reconcile their relationship? Read Hostile Hearts and find out for yourself, you won’t regret it.

I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it, K.E. Osborn certainly has a way with words, grabbing your attention from the very beginning and keeping you hooked throughout. I look forward to seeing more from this series in the near future.

KE Osborne is fastly becoming a favorite of mine. I have loved the Defiance MC series that takes place in New Orleans. Hostile Hearts is a spin-off of that series focusing on Nash. We got the background/lead into this story in the book Isolate. Nash is a venture capitalist; he helps people with money make more money. Yeah, one of those. His father (the world's largest and most offensive a$$h0le) left him, his mother, and his sister for another family when Nash was young. That abandonment left him trying unsuccessfully to earn his father's approval and love. Nash's mother married into the Defiance MC, and Nash has stepbrothers who run the club. They had his back when his father did not. This was an awakening for Nash that led him to start his own business, and he is proving to be just as ruthless as his father. However, Nash has a moral compass in the person of his mother and sister. Nash is making a bold move to establish himself and his firm in the NOLA area, and he needs event planner Brianna Cox to do that. From there, we get FIRE ❤️‍🔥. This novel has so much fun, and the interplay between Nash and his Defiance stepbrothers is great. I enjoyed the heck out of this book; there's some angst, but the story is so worth it, and how we have met all of Nash's friends and know there is more ❤️‍🔥 to come. You need to be reading the NOLA Defiance Series and then IMMEDIATELY jumping and reading this book. These two series are ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥!

Hostile Hearts

Thank you to Grey's Promo for sending me the ARC for an honest review

[CONTAINS SPOILERS]

I can officially admit that the enemies to lovers trope is becoming my favourite one. This book is a reason why. I freaking adored the characters and the story. The drama was needed and the angst and banter the best. Brianna and Nash had such complex relationship, from Nash's whole asshole attitude and Brianna's whole badass behaviour. She didn't let Nash step on her in any way. Nash though had some past that left him with some unfinished business that he had to deal. Brianna was his reason to succeed it. These two are so powerful and so sexy. Their chemistry is over the top and their moments make you hate being single (I mean it 100%). It's a really nice read, with wonderful characters (main & side) and the story has depth something I really adore. I definitely recommend this book and I can't wait for the second one to come cause I know it'll be also wonderful.

This is my first time reading this author and I must admit that I loved the book. From the first moment I was caught by the story of Nash and Brianna. The interaction of the characters for the first time made me laugh a lot, Nash is a demanding character and Brianna never lets herself be pushed around by others. The chemistry between the two from the first moment was crazy, I would definitely recommend this book.

In general, I really enjoy the troop of enemies to lovers, billionaires, and this one was no exception.

Rating: 3.5/5

Since this was the first book I have read by K E Osborne I did not know what to expect. All I can say is when is her next book coming out. What an incredible read. Nash and Brianna not only burned up the sheets with their chemistry, they burned up the pages of the book. I could not put it down. Once I started, I could not stop. From the first chapter I was hooked.
My heart broke for Nash while reading the first chapter and I just had to keep going to see how he would overcome what he had to deal with. His relationship with Brianna wasn’t easy and they had to get over some serious obstacles but when you love someone you will move heaven and earth to be with them. You have to trust each other for it to work. Communication is also key to any successful relationship. Things are not always what they seem. Never come to conclusions without knowing all the facts. Always talk it out. If it is meant to be it will be.
Brianna and Nash fought their feelings for various reasons. But Nash realized he never felt for any woman what he felt for Brianna. He knew he had to face those obstacles because she was worth it. Brianna also realized how happy Nash made her even though she thought he was an egotistical jerk when she first met him. But spending time with him she saw a very different side of him. A side she wanted to get to know and someone she could see herself with.
Reading their story, I never wanted it to end. This may have been my first book by K E Osborne but it definitely not my last. I cannot wait for more.

Nash is breaking away from his father’s business after being treated like a second-class citizen. It’s time for Nash to find his own path and accept that he doesn’t need his father’s approval. To really make his company succeed, he needs to land a big client so he goes after the one his father took away from him. To convince this company to trust him, he needs to throw a premiere event that raises money for charity so he needs the best party planner New Orleans has to offer. Brianna has worked hard to build her business and reputation as a party planner. When Nash struts in and needs her help, well, she can’t say no to triple her fee. But when she finds out that he is trying to take her best friend’s biggest client, well, she gets put in a difficult situation. Does she get out of the contract? Or does she take a chance with Nash? For all Nash’s pushy and overbearing ways, she finds herself attracted to him. Nash struggles with trusting her once he knows her best friend was his biggest rival at his father’s firm. Is there any chance they could find love and happiness together? This story is full of drama, angst and passion. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

This truly was an enemies to lovers billionaire romance and extremely captivating to read. I have been intrigued by Nash when reading The NOLA Defiance MC books and was genuinely surprised by him in this story—pleasantly surprised! 😉

Brianna Cox’s first impression of Nash Harrington as an egotistical, arrogant jerk was justified after there initial meeting… and next couple of meetings too. Nash thought Brianna was; “Arrogant, feisty, sassy, completely bossy.” And she could be but it’s because they clashed so much. Sheesh, I wondered if they’d ever stop with their verbal claws. 😀 Mind you it was entertaining but you could have cut the sexual tension with a feather it was pulled so tight—one tiny touch and snap!

Brianna is absolutely perfect for Nash, she’s strong with a mind of her own, a good businesswoman, gorgeous and sassy to boot! Nash sure had his work cut out for him and it was fabulous to see him want to gain Brianna’s trust, yet that too was a two-way street. Their passion knew no bounds and I am sure was in danger of starting fires wherever they went.

I loved the way this author wove the romance from a movie into this story so perfectly; with little tweaks and twists that worked extremely well. It truly was an ‘ahhhh’ moment toward the end where I could feel myself melting for Nash and liking Brianna even more if that was possible. The descriptions in this book were terrific and easily painted visuals as the story progressed.

The best news is that there will be more stories with Lucas’ story coming next in this series. Lucas intrigues me, hold on, all of the characters are intriguing. Bring on all the stories, I. Am. Ready!

What is going on at the beginning of Nash's story? What is Novah doing? What about Harry and Ingrid? Who is Sarah and how does she figure into the story? What does Reaper have to do with Ingrid? Who are Blake, Brianna, Cam, and Harry? What do they each do for a living? When Lucas and Nash meet up with Dane, Tahlee, Asher, and Cleo, we get a really good look at Nash's friends. What do they each do for a living? How those jobs play into the story makes it a really fun read! I lost count on how many ways something could go pear-shaped in one story! I am supremely ticked off at Blake and especially with Felicity. You need to read and see why that is the case. My head could only shake side to side at about 34% of the way into the story! Where do Brianna and Paisley go on a Sunday? What happens? The night of the Gala got very, very interesting. What fires happen because of it? Just remember, communication must be key. Read to see why I say that!

I’ll be honest and admit that I had to put this book down a time or two. There’s a ton of angst, which is usually not a problem, but it’s filled with anger and name calling, as well…and that’s not my thing.
Nash and Brianna both have their issues, more so Nash, and I sympathize with them both. Funny enough, I liked Nash a whole lot more, considering he’s got most of the anger issues. They needed to communicate more, as well, because that was not their strong suit.
I thought it was well written, and definitely invoked enough emotions from me that I was yelling out loud at some of the characters/situations. I think that all authors would prefer that to readers just passively reading their work.
Having never read the MC series this book is spun from, I still had no problem reading this book. I’m planning on going back to check out some of the author’s catalog, as I like her style. I’m hoping to find a book i connect more with more.
