About this ebook

An order you can’t resist…

Ingredients:

One thirty-something chef hiding from his past behind a diner counter.

One silver fox venture capitalist who left the big city to save his health and heart.

A chance meeting with his son’s former best friend who’s all grown up and exudes the kind of quiet, commanding presence he craves.

Directions:

Toss ingredients into a small-town Southern skillet with a heaping dash of drama.

Turn up the heat with orders in the bedroom for a sizzling good sear but mind the clock.

Don’t let things get too hot or feelings might stick… or someone might get burned.

Cook to the perfect temp—love—for a juicy, delicious forever.

Savor this steamy age-gap M/M romance novella while noshing on your favorite guilty pleasure.

Noah escaped his abusive father 13 years ago and left his whole life behind. He escaped with the help of his best friend's parents and changed his name. Ezra is now divorced and is taking a sabbatical from his job. He is doing a short-term teaching job and is out for a meal with his friend Abel, and it just happens to be in the restaurant where Noah works. They have an instant connection, but due to their past circumstances, they can't help but fight it. They decided to be friends as they kept getting pulled back together. I'm normally not a fan of d/s dynamics, but they were pretty light here. There is only one sex scene here, and it was a pretty hot one! There is so much food porn and it kept my mouth watering! I really liked how the MCs connection with food is woven into their relationship. There was always Noah's father lurking in the background, and I wondered how that would be handled. I won't spoil it for you, but our men do get a HEA of their own.

I enjoyed Noah and Ezra's romance. Offering up a rock-solid blend of emotion, heat, heart and drama, this book grabbed and held my interest well. My heart really ached for Noah, and I was so happy to see him get his happy ever after. This is my volitional, forthright review.
