One man nurtures. One man protects. Both are possessive. Sign me up! Umm... did I say that aloud? 🤔 🤷♀️
These three are determined to erupt hotter than 🌋 Kilauea 🌋 as they explore each other while on assignment on the Big Island of Hawai'i. They're 🔥 really 🔥 that 🔥 hot!
Of course, they've all got some baggage that follows and interrupts their flow. Once things cool, it's not all smooth and shiny, but I like how their rocky exteriors are chipped away to show how soft and molten they are on the inside.
Sorry, I really couldn't help all of the volcano related puns. 😆
Josh and Marcus move fast, but I really, really like them. They're a little quick to draw conclusions, which occasionally gets them in trouble. On the whole, they just want to love and be loved and find the one that completes them. I love their honesty and how they treat Kate.
Oh, and that epilogue! I can't wait to see what kind of trouble Nathan digs himself into with Bella! ❤️🔥

Hot and steamy with a bit of heartache thrown in. I love these "bedtime" stories that Shayla Black writes. Kate is tempted by Josh and Marcus but hesitant. Can the guys show her they are all in or will they all get their hearts broken? Loved it!

Take my advice. Turn on your A/C and have your fan in hand when you start reading Tempted By the Executives. You're gonna need it. Shayla Black turned up the spice, sizzle and steam factor to incendiary. I am surprised that my tablet didn't spontaneity combust. Lawdy!
Josh, Marcus and Kate all have reason to have disdain for relationships and love. They've been recently burned and have yet to heal. Being assigned to work together on a new project and having to travel to the Big Island is certainly no hardship but the timeline is short. Their recommendations and input critical. But, the firweworks that are sparking between them are too hot to ignore. One of them is all in. One is skeptical and resistant and one is fearful of getting their heart broken again. Although there are a few hiccups, miscommunications and even accusations flung because of a giant misunderstanding, this trio are meant for one another and an HEA!

Hot, steamy and the perfect bed time story! Marcus and Josh are successful, hardworking and best friends. They enjoy working together and have been known to share a few things. Kate is new to town and the company. She needs a fresh start after her divorce…boy oh boy is she in for a treat! When Marcus, Josh and Kate end up in Hawaii on an extended business trip that last thing she expected is to have crazy chemistry with not one but both of her coworkers. This is a fun sexy quick read that was hard to put down! All three shared an undeniable connection and they had page turning chemistry. This story was well layered and told a great story. I have read a few books in this series and they are always a great read. As a huge fan of this author I’m never disappointed. Can’t wait to see what Shayla comes out with next.

Tempted by the Executives by Shayla Black is book #10 in the Forbidden Confessions series. Ah! Lust at first sight! This is how the Happily Ever After of main characters Kate, Marcus and Josh begins. Kate's a new hire at Force Financial. Marcus and Josh are tasked with helping Kate oversee her first project.That project has them winging their way to Hawaii where the threesome end up enjoying some super hot sexy times. I really enjoyed meeting Kate, Marcus and Josh and following along on their, sometimes a little bumpy, read to their Happily Ever After. This is a great addition to the series.

Another good book from Shayla Black. This one in the Forbidden Confession: Rich Filthy Bosses centers on Kate and two executives from her new job, Marcus and Josh. Finding herself attractive to both of them, their fantasies become real. While parts were not quite believable to me, I still enjoyed this book.

Tempted by the Executives is a shortish bed-time story for everyone who likes them hot and steamy. Insta-attraction turns to sexy times on a working trip to beautiful Hawaii. But the road to love and a HEA has shadow as well as light, making this an entertaining and enjoyable read.

There is nothing better than when you feel an instant connection with a man across the room from you so when Kate not only catches the eye of Marcus on her first day on the job, she also catches the eye of Josh. Unfortunately when the trio are set to work together in Hawaii on a project, the feelings Kate is felling need to stay in work mode. That is until she ends up in their room and in their arms at the same time. Can the trio work and play well together? And what happens when emotions come into play - is Kate ready to love and be loved by both men? In true Shayla Black fashion the reader is taken on an emotional ride filled with a deep seated connection and hot romance. Nothing better than a well written ménage!!

Wow, I loved this book and devoured it in a day. Loved how Marcus and his best friend Josh fall for Kate. She finds herself falling for both of them too. Loved getting all 3 points of view. But is it just a fling? Can a relationship work with all three of them? Can the guys prove to her that she’s theirs? She’s really close to her family, will they understand and support her? Really loved their happy ever after. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy and I highly recommend this book.

Definitely a one sitting read, you just can't put it down. The scenes are hot and the story is fast paced. Josh and Marcus are in a funk, and they see Kate, and it sets them all a flutter. It's been a while for both of them, they've been burned bad. All it takes is insects to bring them together, and once they are, it's hot, hot, hot. Nice bantering chat between John and Marcus, it's perfect. Excitement, closeness and connection are the most important factors but it's a mine field to figure out how to get them.

An enticing quick read. There's enough back story to make the plot believable and hilight the character differences and dilemmas. There was also a lot of detailed dialogue that staged the scene and carried it through.

❤️❤️❤️ LOVED IT!!! ❤️❤️❤️
When I originally saw the low chapter count, I worried it would be too short of a story but it was great (mostly, see below). The h suffered a horrible divorce & moved to Boston to start fresh at a new company & state. The H’s are just going through the motions of life, but not really living and definitely not happy after they were in a relationship with a woman who they thought was the one and definitely wasn’t.
I loved the h & 2 H’s. I loved how they met and the cute way they got together (minus the bugs that sent her their way, ew!). I love that the h was a survivor who had built walls around her heart & how the 2 H’s tore those walls down. I was pretty peeved at the guys later in the book for jumping to conclusions and assuming the worst about the h, but I’m glad it worked out in the end.
The main thing I am disappointed about is I wish there was just ONE more chapter that has them going back to Boston & how that all worked like with living arrangements, the wedding & how things evolved at work. I truly feel that was a huge miss, but because I loved the story so much, I still give this a 4 ⭐️’s.

• Sweet ending

Cons:
• The missing chapter described above
• When the guys got a little jerkish for a bit
• I really wish karma would have somehow bitten the h’s ex in the tush

I became a SB fan when I started reading the Reed Family books and then I went on to the Wicked Lovers series. Now it seems like most of the books I have read since these two series don't match up to those in storyline or quality, and I am a little let down. This book was an interesting read. The steamy sex scenes are now formulaic for her books. If you've read some scenes in one book, they are bound to be repeated in another, just have to change the names of the characters.
I also have an issue with the insta-love trope. Although it happens IRL, I don't think it is as common as in romance novels. I also kinda feel that Kate's dad is a little too easily accepting of the idea that she has 2 lovers/husbands, almost right from the start. Most dads would need some time to get used to that idea, especially since she already had a conventional long term relationship, and that seems to be the norm for their family.
Interesting that Shayla kind of makes it a point to distribute their two children in the epilogue between each man, at least based on looks and temperament, and it looks like they are going for two more possibly so each Daddy can have 2 to continue his blood line. Wonder what that looks like in later years. Although the kids may grow up with two dads being their normal, it is equally normal that at some point at least one of their kids, if not all is going to want a DNA test to know their parentage, as they should for medical purposes if nothing else.

She's excited about the opportunity to advance her career, and get a fresh start from her tough divorce. On her first day, within minutes, she meets a couple of very handsome men who seem to be very interested in her. While on her way to a meeting, turns out these two men work in her office. She's introduced to them, and learns they will be working together. Kate tries to tamp down her attraction to both men. Being work colleagues, nothing can happen between them. Unbeknownst to Kate, Josh and Marcus are best friends--who like to share.
When work sends all three of them on a trip to investigate a property the company is interested in investing in, they find themselves far from home fighting a very strong attraction. Jason Clarke does a great job solo narrating this wonderful MFM love story. He's one of my favorite narrators, and his solo narrating talents are on full display with this series.

A fast-paced, steamy novella from Shayla Black in her Forbidden Confessions series and Tempted By The Executives finds the heroine Kate with two heroes, well they do say two is twice as nice and why should Kate have to choose especially when it comes to two delicious specimens like Josh and Marcus. This book finds these life long friends who would love to find the right woman to share and worship together on the verge of giving up hope of ever finding someone who would openly accept a relationship with them both and withstand any ensuing gossip and censor* when Kate walked into their lives. Throw in a work trip to Hawaii and an obliging cockroach or two thrusting all three into close proximity and what happened next was inevitable. I should point out at this point that Josh and Marcus have no interest whatsoever in each other, it’s all about Kate and her pleasure. Maybe they did come across as being a bit needy but believe me they were all alpha where it counted. With a fantastic epilogue containing a tempting teaser for Nathan’s story hopefully coming soon and I was one happy reader.

Josh and Marcus are best friends. They each have a role in this ménage and I loved how Kate grew the most in this story. She has had troubles with her previous marriage and it brought her confidence down. But by these two men, she is loved like a queen.

I was just missing something in this story. But it was still very much enjoyable.

Wildly Sensual
Wow! Just, Wow! Get ready for a hot, steamy read! This book is wildly sensual and typical of what to expect from Shayla Black!
There is intense heat between the 3 MCs. There is insta-spark and it goes from there. Character development is quick, but I did not find it lacking as I sometimes find in quick stories. This had everything right! I find Shayla's writing style very concise. I can easily convert her words to a movie playing out in my mind, I love it!
Three executives, recently introduced to each other, about to spend almost 2 weeks in paradise called Hawaii. What else could possible happen after the explosive way they met? Josh, Marcus and Kate, each starting off still nursing broken hearts and damaged egos, are able to open up their minds, hearts and souls for the possibility of something more; a possible future and forever.

Kate is recently divorced and leaves her town searching for a new life. She lands a job and winds up working under two executives named Josh and Marcus. She learns she will be traveling to Hawaii with them to seal a real estate deal. It's a tough and big assignment, and Kate is ready and willing.
Before her trip she hears rumors that Josh and Marcus like to share. Not looking for love, sex or a relationship, she feels pretty sure they won't be sharing her. However, when she gets to Hawaii things change rather quickly when her room is infested with disgusting bugs, the hotel spray for bugs and Kate has a panic attack and goes to relay what happened and why she's freaked out to Josh and Marcus.
This is the steamiest book I've read in a really long time! It was pure hotness practically the whole story! Great characters and a great story!

Kate is recently divorced and starting over with a new job in a new town. Marcus and Josh are two besties who enjoy sharing…When Kate meets the two men, sparks start flying but all three have baggage. However, when they are tasked with their first assignment away from the office, let’s just say that when the day is done, here comes the fun. Like any relationship, communication is key and these three could stand to take the course. The writing style is what keeps one’s attention and the characters are developed well which makes this one sexy hot read.

Kate takes on a new challenge professionally, and finds a new adventure with colleagues Josh and Marcus ... and it is not only because they are in Hawaii that things get hot and steamy!
I am a huge fan of trio relationships, because I find the dynamics, the emotions and the mental aspects as fascinating as the heat. Whilst for the guys this is nothing new, it certainly is for Kate - but as she learns their fears, the stakes get even higher. That crescendo of emotions, and the potential failure makes it all super intense, as well as incredibly sexy.

Another steamy, enjoyable read from Shayla, I loved watching Kate, Marcus and Josh fall in love. Marcus is hot and protective and Josh is gorgeous and nurturing. Kate is one lucky woman. Their every encounter caused flames to burst from my tablet. Very much an instalove story, the plot focuses almost completely on their relationship although there are a few scenes about developing a property in Hawaii. I was excited to see Savannah and Chad from Tempted by the Billionaire as I really liked them both. It as great seeing how happy they still are. The next book, which will be Nathan’s and it appears it’s going to be filled with intrigue and drama. I can’t wait!.

Again - my reviews for this series keep disappearing so I'm writing another one. This is an insta-love fic.
Marcus (the protective one) and his BFF/co-worker Josh (the caretaker) are looking for the perfect match to add to their sex-sandwich after their hearts were broken by their ex when she decided she didn't want to be in a sandwich. In comes newly divorced Kate. The three of them head to Hawaii for business and start buttering that bread! Sexy stuff happens (there's NO sex between Marcus and Josh, unfortunately), Marcus is afraid of being hurt again, misunderstandings happen, break-ups, make-ups, HEA.
The reason this only gets a 3 is because the sexy stuff didn't happen until the 45% mark. I wanted more and sooner.

OMG I really enjoyed this book. It was an easy sexy read. I enjoyed Marcus and Josh. One is possessive and one a nurturer.
I loved Kate how she was finding herself again after her divorce and how the two men have helped her. The chemistry between all of them was undeniable and I love it. I love how the two men treated Kate.
I loved the banter and how as soon as they see and meet her they instantly fall in love. It was fast pace which I love and how they just a assume one thing which gets them in trouble until they find out the truth.
And the epilogue!!!! I CANNOT wait for Bella and Nathan’s book!

After her divorce Kate was determined to focus on her career and keep men at a distance. The only problem with that plan is that her new job brings Josh and Marcus into her life and they have all been tasked with heading to Hawaii to research a new project.
Josh and Marcus have shared a woman in the past and it didn’t end well. They are cautious about repeating the experience but the chemistry they have with Kate is undeniable.
The chemistry between them is electric however Josh, Marcus and Kate haven’t made the best choices when it comes to their romantic past which causes some turmoil until they open their hearts to each other and the happiness they deserve.
