-One For The Money (4 Star)
Welcome back to the Midnight Dynasty Collection with Eva Morelli’s story! Eva is the eldest of the Morelli children and well classed on how to behave. When her meddling mother wants to arrange for her to wed, a surprise saves the day. Finn Hughes is from a very wealthy family and has grown up around the Morellis’. After overhearing a conversation he decides to rescue Eva and propose a deal...pretend they’re together. Both don’t want marriage so why not fake a relationship to keep their families at bay. What could possibly go wrong? I loved the charismatic Finn and the way he was with Eva. A sweeter romance for this collection that takes an emotional turn with a secret. I’m ready to see what happens after the cliffhanger we are left with. Told in dual POV

-Two For The Show
(4.8 Stars) Eva Morelli left us with a huge bombshell after one for the money. Can she convince Finn Hughes what is about to happen is what’s meant to be? Can Finn fight his inner turmoils to find a happiness with Eva? They may of started out as a fake couple but something did bloom between them…but will it last? I love Finn and my heart breaks for what he is going through. This is a more emotional and heartfelt story that prepares you for the final book in their journey. Told in dual POV

-Three To Get Ready (4 Stars)
Book three in this emotional trilogy is here. After a secret breaks free what will Finn and Eva’s future look like with the decisions they must make. He is so scared to get attached to anyone with how he believes his future will be but some things are worth taking the jump. Can Eva make Finn realize she and their new life is worth the risk? An emotional romance dealing with dementia and the love of those who won’t give up on you. Told in dual POV

Okay, I have to admit, I've been so excited for this pair since the tiny tease in Meet me Under the Mistletoe. It was a collection of holiday stories at a Morelli Christmas ball. Anyways, I'm so happy it's here now!

Finn seems like a casual, carefree playboy- always up for mischief, and a good time. Eva is the classic family peacemaker. She's always behind the scenes soothing ruffled feathers and checking all the details of events. And now? These two are FAKE DATING. You guys. You know fake dating never stays fake. Someone always catches feelings. And it's inevitable that they will eventually both fall. It also doesn't hurt that fake dating usually involves kissing in front of the people you're trying to fool. And maybe kissing when no one's watching? That's book one.
We really see Finn struggle and go back and forth on whether love and family are worth taking a chance on in Two for the Show. He has a very valid reason for avoiding them, but he deserves love. He deserves all the things. And Eva deserves to have someone by her side while she's there for everyone else.

In Three to Get Ready, we kind of see how couples can overcome anything and become stronger together, even while being vulnerable. Their love is so beautiful to watch unfold.

Also we get to see some big life moments for other Morellis. So if you're as obsessed with this whole world as I am, definitely read this set.

This book, PRETEND EVER AFTER contains all three books in the Hughes series, Midnight Dynasty Collection. In these books we have Eva Morelli and Finn Hughes. After overhearing a conversation he decides to rescue Eva and propose a deal...pretend they’re together. Both don’t want marriage so why not fake a relationship to keep their families at bay. What could possibly go wrong? Everything of course!

Book One - One for the Money

Finn Hughes, his family is as wealthy as the Rockefellers. And as powerful as the Kennedys.

Eva Morelli is the oldest daughter, usually the peacemaker member that everyone goes to for advice / help.

A fake relationship, with a budding friendship. This new fake relationship will keep Eva's mother from bothering her about marriage. Then the fake relationship starts to feel real.

We end with a cliffhanger ending, let's hope the next book is not too far away.

Book Two - Two for the Show

This is the 2nd book in the series of 3. You will need to read the 1st book - One for the Money first. Book 2 - Two for the Show picks up where we ended book One.

We are back with Eva Morelli & Finn Hughes. Eva has planned the wedding for her sister. It's a beautiful wedding, but one that really isn't 'Eva' at all. But, as the event planner her mother wants her to be, everything is flawless as usual, until Finn shows up that is.

Eva just found out she's pregnant, and has been going over and over in her head what / how she is going to tell Finn. But, with one look at her Finn knows something is wrong, off about her. He guesses on his own. Finn has never wanted a family / children due to the family's illness that runs in it. What will Finn do?

Finn & Eva are soulmates, but will their families see this romance as a future for either of them?

Book Three - Three to Get Ready

This story is here picking up from the ending of Two For The Show. We continue with Finn Hughes & Eva. Finn has his mom back in his life, helping with his father. But, she remembers the way the dad was, and wants him back to that way, but, with his dementia he will never be able to return to the 'old' way that he was before the dementia took over.

Finn & Eva have been struggling with their relationship. Should they keep things a secret still or should they be out in public? Should they be open with the world?

I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest review.

Trilogy book all three book 5⭐️

One for the money:
Billionaire
Reverse age gap
Family secret
Surprise Pregnancy
Fake relationship
Cliffhanger

Finn and Eva
When you simply devour it in one sitting. I love every single moment. It's my first time reading this author and the character and finding out there is
a collection of books by various authors, each revolving around the Morelli and Constantine families. I'm going to go read cause I'm so curious about them especially cause you get scene from them that make you want to know more.
Eva is 33 yrs old and Finn is 29 yes old, they have this connection of not trusting anyone with their family secret and being the peacemaker of the family. So much in common more than they realise, both needing escape from normality in their life. every sexual encounter is sizzling and i was completely hooked and an ending to leave me in a need for more.
They start a fake relationship to please their family especially when they keep asking when are they going to get married.
Eva was heartbroken at the age of nineteen and Finn never want to get marry and have a family. The perfect solution is this arrangement, but along the way those feeling change more to Eva than Finn would like to admit so he pushes her away and Eva find out something that is going to change her life forever.
Now the question is will she keep the secret from Finn.

Two for the Show:
So it continues Eva learns she pregnant and she keeping it a secret from her family and Finn. He has said he doesn't want a child because of the dementia that run in his family we find out he been acting out as the ceo of his family business and when people find out everything goes to chaos.
The story continue as well for Leo and Hayley who is pregnant and about to give birth.
Finn proposes to Eva as a business arrangement and not love so Eva tell him No. Finn has to make arrangement for him to become CEO in everyone eyes
Their another cliffhanger
love how we have both pov and have both feeling on having a child and difficult decision have to be made. The anger Finn carry around with the burden of knowing he only have seven years until the dementia take over read book 1 and 2 the same day and im going to continue to the next book because I need to know what going to happen.

Three to Get Ready:
I love the conclusion I cried you feel the emotion on part of Finn and their love ones. It end in HEA but you know that it gonna happen.

The world finally know the Hugh curse that has only happen to the male in the family and they overcome the obstacles. Finn and Eva pulled together and this story was their perfect ending. There was so much emotion in this one, pulled tears out of me, because what Finn went through made him seem so human. Keeping secret and how devastating it was to keep them from people that trusted him.

Everyone goes through illnesses and it’s not always easy to talk about but how strong Eva was for Finn made my heart so full. They are true soulmates and their story was such a beautiful one.

I highly recommend reading this entire series and the other one from various authors and thank you to Skye Warren and Valentine pr for the arc for my honest review.

Finn is a playboy at heart and harboring a huge secret that keeps him from opening up to anyone. Eva is a level headed woman who fixes everyone's problem but hers. What happens when they enter a fake relationship?

Entering a fake relationship with a playboy can be a treacherous path, fraught with dangers that can shake the very foundations of trust and emotional well-being. But Eva knows there was something more in that playboy mask. And like a fixer that she is, she wants to fix it for him. Finn is harboring a huge secret, a secret that can make or break his family's business and he was determined to hide it from everyone especially from Eva.

What I love about this book is that Eva is such a strong willed character, at times I feel like she's very soft-hearted and it pissed me off so much that she's willing to do anything for her family even if they don't deserve anything from her especially her loyalty.

Finn was a hard character for me to figure out, because I understand that he's scared, no scratch that. I know he's terrified, but he put himself in that situation in the first place and even broke Eva's heart in the process. I love how he fixes his mistake and proved to everyone and Eva that he deserves a chance. For me, Finn has the most character development because he faced his fears and refused to give up hope even though the odds are against him.

I thought by the end of the book, Eva would outgrow her fixer attitude but I think it became advantageous for them both because it gave them hope that everything will be alright. I'm convinced they can conquer anything from this point on.

Another character that I would love to discuss was Finn's mother, Geneva. We barely saw her in the books but she made the most impact to me. I initially thought she was not really in love with Finn's father that was why she stayed away. I thought she just wasn't bothered by it all. But I realized that her love for Finn's father, Daniel was so huge it destroys her to see him that way, I'm glad that she came to realization and tries to be a better mom and wife to her family.

If you love billionaire romance that actually has depth and tackles real life problem, then you should read Pretend Ever After.

This was a Trilogy in one book and I loved it. I don't like waiting to find out what happens after that cliff hanger. I can be a bit impatient lol 😂.
The Tropes were: Fake Relationship, Reverse Age Gap and Surprise Baby.

Finn is a well known Playboy and has no desire to settle down. He has a secret and trust issues. Letting someone in would mean secrets being revealed that could destroy their business.
Eva has been heartbroken and now has the same trust issues and does not want to get married. But with her mum starting to arrange a marriage for her she is losing ways to avoid marriage.
So in sweeps Finn with the plan. Fake Relationship, that will keep both sides appeased and they can live how they want to.

All 3 books follow how they both grow as characters. How feelings start to grow but Finns fear and secret destroys things before it can go anywhere. It was quite sad to see how it affects him mentally and how through all 3 books he learns to move through this fear.

What I loved was how he helped Eva start to notice herself and to start putting herself 1st for once. Their chemistry was off the chart and so was their sizzling interactions.
Then Eva has her own secrets. Can they overcome both secrets, drama, fear, troubles and their broken hearts?
By book 3 I was an emotional mess for both of them but was so worth it.
Excellent trilogy.

Pretend Ever After by Skye Warren, this is a trilogy in one book, One for the Money, Two for the Show, and Three to Get Ready, and it brings us Eva Morelli and Finn Hughes, both are the problem solvers of their respective families, they carry the weight of that responsibility on their shoulders, Eva was hurt by a previous relationship, which led her to build a wall to prevent another man from breaking her heart. Finn is a fun, outgoing and adventurous man, but he has a secret that, if discovered, could destroy him and his family, so he decides that the best way to keep that secret hidden is to have a relationship with Eva Morelli, but what started out as a fake relationship soon evolves into a real one. As they try to navigate a life together, the unthinkable happens, not only does Finn's family secret come out, but he's faced with the toughest decision he swore he'd never make. This will lead them to decide if what they feel can overcome everything or it will simply ruin them.
This story will trap you since the first pages, it's full of unexpected twists that will have you glued to it, definitely an emotional roller coaster that does not stop, these two have to deal with some difficult realities, but they learn to draw strength from each other and help face their fears. A story you won't want to miss, Highly Recommended!!

I didn’t realize this was three books in one but it was having all three books in one place. This book had the spice, the drama, the family secrets and of course the billionaires that you could want. Eva and Finn are similar but also a perfect match. Eva fights for the people she loves and Finn really needs someone like that in his corner. She makes him believe in a future he never wanted for himself and it’s really beautiful how it all comes together.

I will say, the Hughes Curse to me didn’t seem as though it should have been as big of a deal as it was and I was hoping for more. That is probably because I am such a thriller lover that twists really do it for me.

The ending was very bittersweet while having the hope of a happily ever after.

Funny story - when I started to read this, I didn't realize it was connected to the Midnight Dynasty World (this is a compilation of different series' each featuring a romance, all connected because one of the main characters is a member of the the Constantine or Morelli families.) I just read the synopsis, and I wanted to read it.

My feelings on Pretend Ever After is very similar to Claim (another book in the collection). Despite being three books in one, they are short books (all under 300 pages), so it's not actually that long of a read.
Honestly, I didn't mind them being short. I think if the stories were longer I would have gotten bored, because this story is actually pretty simplistic. We don't need a whole bunch of filler. Also like Claim, it very much follows the billionaire/CEO trope, and its FAST. It's love at first sight, even if the characters don't admit it.

When I realized that this was a part of the Midnight Dynasty collection, I immediately thought this was a BDSM romance, because the Violent Delights series is. Not sure why I thought that. This, after all, is a collection of family dynasty romances. It's unrealistic that every member of the family would have the same interests. So I appreciate that that is reflected in the writing. Every person, every couple, has their own wants and desires, and I like that. That being said, I feel like the steamy scenes were the weakest part of this book(s). They were very quick, kinda glossed over. It just didn't peak my interest I guess.

Another thing that bothered me, was that Skye Warren is a teller. She tells you EVERYTHING.
What a touch means.
What a kiss means.
What words mean.
Not once does she leave it up to a reader to figure out feelings or thoughts behind physical acts, which was annoying. I'm smart. I know what those moments mean. I can put two and two together. When it's followed by the author telling me what it means, it feels redundant. When the scene switches POV, we are told again what it means. It happened enough that it took me out of the story.

Pretend Ever After is simple. Despite the content in it, it's a fast read, and not bogged down with a ton of information that will bore you. I appreciated that the overall plot revolves around dementia, and not only the difficulties of living with it, but mostly on the impact on families. I actually found the Hughes storyline in regards to dementia to be the strongest, and most interesting in these books. If you are interested in the Midnight Dynasty, and love billionaire romance, you will enjoy this. It's not as steamy as I would have liked, but its interesting. I still plan on one day reading the other books in the Dynasty.

This is a compilation of all three books in the Hughes series. It is gripping, intense, angsty, drama-filled, and sizzling hot. It takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions that you won't want to get off of! I highly recommend reading these books if you're a fan of fake-relationship, billionaire romances.

ONE FOR THE MONEY: *****
Skye Warren wows & welcomes us back into the Constantine/Morelli world in One for the Money. The pages are filled with heartfelt emotions, heartbreak, family drama, angst, and sexy times. The characters steal your heart. The plot is gripping & intense. She rips your heart out with Finn & Eva's story but I have faith that she will repair it in the end. This is an addictive, must-read! This is book one of 3 and ends on a cliffhanger.

TWO FOR THE SHOW: *****
A tragic, emotional, and angsty read that tugs on the heartstrings. The struggle between Finn Hughes and Eva Morelli continues in Two for the Show. Eva has a secret. She is now pregnant and feeling alone. She discovers this after being rejected by Finn. Finn is still fighting the demons of his family's cursed fate. He can't subject Eva to this cursed fate. But, can they resist the ever-present pull between them that is so strong? Can Eva forgive Finn for his brutal rejection?

This book is intense and gripping with undeniable passion and heat. I was glued to the pages, breathless to see what would transpire next. The plot is very well-written and perfectly paced. I love the characters! They are complex, multi-layered, and real. You feel every emotion and pain as if it is yours, and you want to wrap them in a hug and soothe their pain. It ends on a gripping cliffhanger that leaves you dying for more! If you love an angsty, emotional, and gripping read, this is a must-read! I also highly recommend reading other stories in the Midnight Dynasty World. They are amazing!

THREE TO GET READY: ****
This was such an intense, real, and raw conclusion to Finn and Eva's story. Secrets come to light and Finn and Eva must deal without fallout. What an emotional roller coaster ride this trilogy took us on. It was a beautiful love story, albeit heartbreaking at times, and my heart is so full at this wonderful ending. You'll fall in love with these amazing characters. Especially Eva and her strength and unending love and devotion to Finn. Finn's character evolved exponentially in book 3, and I fell in love with him. This trilogy is a must-read and a great addition to the addicting Midnight Dynasty world! This is not a standalone romance. There are the first 2 books in the trilogy that must be read before reading book 3. You'll want to read them because those are just as addicting as this one!

Soooo …. There is a HUGE cliffhanger that I NEVER saw coming!! But when you put ALL of the facts, encounters and the family members together I should have known this was coming!! Skye you hit it out of the park again with this one and I can’t wait for more!!
Eva Morelli is the glue that keeps ALL of the Morelli siblings together .. she is the go between with there parents, she is the one that looks out for each sibling making sure they are striving and excelling since her Mother is to busy being a social lite and her Father is well you know how a Morelli man is .. hard headed, temper and a workaholic. So when a sibling has an issue or just needs guidance Eva is it meaning she has no life of her own as she is protecting EVERYONE!!
So, when her Mother is trying to set her up .. again .. to get her married off and have grandchildren with an older man, Alex Langley, Phineas Hughes steps in because he knows in his head and his heart Eva needs some help and guidance herself. He takes her to places she never thought she would be at .. Yes places her brothers would be more inclined to be at BUT Finn is on a mission to show her what she is missing and she is missing HIM!! BUT Finn has his own deep, dark secrets that if they get out could ruin the Hughes fortune and he CAN’T have that and he will protect his secret at ALL costs!!
When this unlikely pair comes together as a FAKE relationship, we ALL know someone’s heart will be broken and I am not sure which one will get hurt worse.
THIS INSTALL MENT IS SOOOOO GOOD !! I will never look at a quarter or Starbucks extra foam the same again !!

Two for the Show and Three to get Ready are the continuations and will have you not believing in fairytales BUT what real life is about and what lengths you will go to to protect you family !!

These three books are now combined into one and you BETTER NOT PUT IT DOWN BECAUSE you will regret the LOVE you will miss !! LOVED ALL 3 BOOKS INTO 1 !!

Oh my goodness… where do I even start with this book? It was absolutely nothing what I expected it to be in the best way possible. 😭🩷

What I thought was going to be a spicy romance between a CEO billionaire and a rich heiress had turned out be so, so much more. I won’t lie, this book was a serious emotional rollercoaster and I spent many minutes ugly crying. This collection of three books combined into one follows Eva—a strong woman who comes from a rich family and runs their charity business, and Phineas—the CEO billionaire who lives life like there’s no tomorrow because of the secrets he harbors. I don’t want to spoil but I will say, when you find out his secret and the big obstacle that Finn and Eva face in their future, it’s a heart-dropping scene. This couple starts out fast and hot but soon realize they mean more to each other than they originally thought. Trying to fight their instincts only ends up bringing them closer together for such a beautiful love story. The spicy scenes are very 🥵 and so well-written, Finn is definitely a book boyfriend who raises the standards.

This story also follows a journey of acceptance, honesty, new hope, and siblings who will do anything for one another. There are scenes that made me laugh, cry, blush and those that made me want to throw my laptop across the room. I had to remind myself that this was just a wonderfully told fictional story between the woman who was always able to fix things and the man who accepted he was unfixable. I always say I love my romance books with a little bit of tragedy, but this one really hit me and made me feel a whole spectrum of emotions.
Thank you so much to Grey’s Promotions and the author for gifting me this ARC!

PRETEND EVER AFTER is heartbreaking and bittersweet with threads of hope weaved firmly throughout. From the start, we have Eva and Finn, both fixers for everyone else’s problems except possibly their own. You come to realize theirs is the perfect scenario for a story of star-crossed lovers, and yet they prove stronger than that. Their story is not one of miracles but of hope and love and the faith and fight needed to achieve whatever the future holds for them. There is plenty of angst as Finn struggles to balance what he knows is his life with what he believed he could never have while Eva stands steadfast in her belief that they can conquer anything as long as they do it together. There are so many emotional ups and downs within these stories; all through them we know Finn has a family secret that could destroy everything he helped build if discovered, which adds a level of anticipation to what is already an engaging read. And just when our emotions begin to level as Finn finds his footing in their relationship and Eva starts to feel as if all will be right in their world, we’re brought to the precipice again when Finn’s family’s secret is revealed and everything around them begins to crumble as everyone scrambles to make it right. The rollercoaster of emotions is strong throughout each of these stories. The characters are so well-drawn that you can easily feel their pain, their frustrations, and their joy. The narrative of this tale is fast-paced and will keep you thoroughly engaged and leave you hoping for a future that you can only hope will exist.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Finn Hughes is a very rich man. He is the CEO and heir to the largest fortune in the United States. However he carries around a secret that absolutely no one knows and he keeps that secret by letting absolutely no one get close to him. What he needs is a fake relationship so that everyone leaves him alone and don't pry into his personal life. However pretending soon turns into so much more. This book contains all three books in the Hughes series. This is the story of Finn and Eva and they are going to steal your heart but you are also really going to go through it with them too. Eva is a fighter and she fights for the people in his life and I feel like Finn really needed that. He at times is obsessively overthinking this secret he is keeping and the time bomb he is waiting to go off in his head. They all carry around family secrets that no one can ever find out. Are both loyal and have this sizzling thing between them that they are not going to be able to fight for long. One for the Money, Two for the Show and Three to Get Ready are the books and the journey you are about to embark on. You will not want to lay it down. You will live in the moment with Finn and Eva and never want this book to end. This is one that you don't want to miss ever and I will be reading this book over and over again as time goes by. Run and grab it. You won't regret it.

Pretend Ever After by Skye Warren. 4/5 ⭐

Firstly, it's 3 books in 1! That for me is just a major YES! The anticipation when waiting for the next book drives me insane, so thank you for that. Also, dual POV. Again, a yes! There are some parts that are predictable, but in a good way! If be sobbing in a corner of it wasn't the prediction I wanted/needed! It kept me hooked throughout the entirety of the book and it's definitely a book that you can't put down until your done.

The story - who doesn't love reading about drama in a millionaires life 🙏🏻 the story contains drama, family secrets and a bit of added spice the story follows (primarily) Eva - who by the way, is an awesome character. I instantly loved her and her whole attitude. She just wants to keep her head down and get on with life, but her mother has other plans for her. Can Finn come in and save the day? Eva is very much a people pleaser, even if they don't deserve it she did it. She definitely deserves some sort of HEA.

Finn was also loveable character. A massive playboy who refuses to settle down and raise a family (for obvious reasons on his part, NO SPOILERS HERE). But together, they're like the mighty duo who will conquer all. They both deserve love and happiness and everyone loves a HEA.

Thank you to Valentine PR and Skye Warren for allowing me to read this ARC - this is an HONEST review from my own personal opinion.

Skye Warren is an amazing writer. Her books are always ones I eat up. Her characters are interesting, her storylines are always ones that pull you in and hold on to you to keep you reading. This one is no different.. and I was enthralled from the beginning.

Eva and Finn’s story all in one book. Two of my favorites, a storyline that is so deep and real that it’s so very worth the reading!! You will have a hard time putting it down. I had read the books before, individually, but am always up for a re-read of the good ones, and this is a good one.

Eva’s family is… not the best in my opinion. Her mother is pushy and wants her to marry. Her father is abusive to her, and she’s allowed it to happen because he’s her father. When Finn overhears her mother pushing her at a party they are both attending, he steps in and takes her out of the situation. And thus begins their story. And their story will make you want more. More for them because of the subject matter, and more for you. It’s an easy read in that they are attracted to each other right away and their story just keeps getting better. When we learn why Finn is the way he is… it’s a bit of a twist, and it’s kind of sad.

If you haven’t read this, you should. If you’ve read one or two… read them again and book 3 as well. If you’ve read them all like me… read them again, all the same time. You’ll love them as much the second time as you did the first…

One for the Money-
It's not only money that makes a life worth living.......are Eva and Finn living their lives? You'll have to read to find out and OMG it's gonna be quite the ride. I feel like each new book in this interconnected Midnight Dynasty world is better than the last and we learn more about the Morelli's and the Constantine's and the other families that are connected like the Hughes family in this book with Finn. Secrets are revealed, we learn a bit more about what's been happening with other character's, new people are introduced. I LOVED this book and cannot wait to see where this story goes.

Two for the Show-
I am LOVING Finn and Eva's story and sure hope they can stop letting fear rule them and figure out how to be together. They are both dealing with so much and are strong for everyone else, they forget they deserve to be happy too. I love how each story in this world while separate gives us glimpses into other characters and where they are in their own love stories. I am so looking forward to the next book in this series.

Three to get Ready-
What a wonderful finish to Finn and Eva's story. It was emotional and full of strength and growth for both Eva and Finn. I love how their families rallied around and supported them with no questions asked and nothing wanted in return. I really enjoyed this series.

One for the Money:
Finn wants to keep his secret’s hidden but his fake relationship with Eva is proving to hit him in his chest. Can his heart really be unfrozen? Eva had her heart broken and never wants to open it again. But Finn standing up to show her she can be the beautiful woman she is and not always be the family rock, may actually change her mind. They both have things they wish to hide. Can they be stronger together or just break their hearts even more by denying the strong pull they feel.

Two for the Show:
Skye does it again. Loving this series with the Morelli and Hughes. Eva and Finn have lots to work through if they can get on the same page. Being alone and pregnant Eva being the strong woman she is can't accept not getting the love she deserves. Finn can not get his fate out of head. Can he let Eva or a baby into his life knowing how it's going to end. This is a hard one to put down. Enjoyed every page and can not wait to find out what's going to happen next.

Three to get ready:
Finn and Eva no matter what tries to break them they can't give up. No matter what the Hughes curse brings Eva will not leave Finn. The baby is not the only thing keeping them together, their love is stronger then anything.

Eva is always taking care of everyone but herself. Introduce Finn; a handsome bachelor known to be a player. He introduces Eva to a world of thrill, but also teaches her how to do things for herself for once. He’s also hiding something huge from everyone, which stands in the way of a future with Eva.

The author does a good job of producing strong, likable MC’s & I really enjoyed the dual POV. This also does not read like three different books, which is awesome and I think speaks to how to author flawlessly melded these books to seem more like “parts” than different books.

This is my first book by this author, and while I did enjoy the plot, this book just wasn’t for me. I felt like I was missing information about Eva’s family..I didn’t think this book was a part of a series but it read like that to me. I wasn’t crazy about the plot twist. I think I’ve read too many books lately where that seems to be the endgame, and I’m just not into it.

All in all, it’s a story with a great plot that you should give a try!

Thanks to Valentine PR & the author for the ARC!

When I opened this book I thought I was starting a book about a billionaire romance. Something light and feel good and a little cheesy - like most of the billionaire romance books I love. But this book was so much more. SO MUCH MORE.

So many emotions. So much depth. It was an honest to God REAL love story. One that isn't perfect. That is painful. That doesn't promise a happy ending, but by the end the characters are happy. In the now.

I cried so much in this book. Tears of sadness for the characters. Tears of beauty. Tears because I related so hard to the way it talked about motherhood and regret and wishing to change things. I highlighted so many quotes to revisit over and over again.

This book is going to live in my soul for a long time. It's the type of book that takes you a while to get over it. That you will think about time and time again. And one I DEFINITELY won't be able to forget. It was beautiful. Completely and utterly and hopelessly beautiful. I would give it more than five stars if I could.

I couldn’t wait to read Eva’s story and what a story it was. Finn & Eva are so much a like and that’s what draws them together. Both have secret’s that they share with each other, the trust is there, the chemistry is there and the sex omg it’s hot. I need the next book ASAP because how this book ended I NEED to know what happens next for Eva & Finn. Another amazing Morelli story that will have you hooked.

Two for the Show
Omg this book gave me all the feels. Finn & Eva are absolutely my all time fav. My emotions were all over the place. Eva is in shock about her pregnancy and when Finn learns the truth let’s say it’s life changing. Truly a book you will not want too put down. The ending omg I need the next ASAP.

Three to Get Ready
What an amazing ending for Finn & Eva. This couple is by far my absolute fav. They both have been through so much and I’m so glad that they have each other. This series and characters will have you hooked.

5/5 🌟 2/5🌶️
This book has three books in one. It was different for me, but I honestly enjoyed it so much. Finn and Eva have a fun yet sad relationship. I think the push and pull was enticing and extremely enjoyable. There were some tear jerker moments, Eva is such a strong willed female character. I loved reading about her and her strength/love for those around her. Finn is such a misunderstood character who finds himself in the darkest of situations and makes the most of life. The character development is perfect. We see so much growth throughout the three stories. I thought I would want to read it as a series and was confused why do three books in one… by the end I was so thankful all three were in one book. The first two ended with cliffhangers that would’ve been torture to wait out, instead I got to continue right into the next book. I truly enjoyed the story behind this.

Imagine knowing one day you would not be able to remember. What would it make you do? How would you face your relationships? Imagine being the keeper of your family secrets? Both Eva and Finn have this responsibility. They start out agreeing to a fake relationship to get Eva's mother off her back and to make Finn seem more stable and less of a playboy. It moves beyond fake quickly though and towards something that could be meaningful. Pretend Ever After is the three books that make up Eva and Finns relationship (One for the money, Two for the Show, & Three to get ready). This book has great characters a meaningful story and some good twists. Will they be able to find the happiness that they both deserve, or will it all fall apart? This is a good read!!

I voluntarily wrote this review from reading an advanced copy of this book.

Pretend Ever After by Skye Warren is a box set that includes three books that shares stories of Eva Morelli and Finn Hughes. Eva who has been hurt by the previous relationship so she built a wall not wanting another man breaks her heart. Finn was a fun, outgoing and adventurous.

Can you believe it if I tell you that I finished this book within a day? It was simply unputdownable. I was so engrossed with it that i could finished in one sitting but your girl need to eat and sleep too :)

It was emotional, fun and mind blowing. With Finn struggles, my heart breaks for him. Eva was strong and a warrior. I’m rooting for these two they were both amazing.

This trilogy follows Eva and Finn's fake dating escapades that quickly turn into something more. Finn, the carefree playboy, and Eva, the family peacemaker, make for an unlikely but captivating couple. Finn wrestles with his fear of love and family throughout the books, but their bond grows stronger. The emotional journey includes themes of dementia and unwavering love. I was completely drawn into their story, feeling their pain, frustrations, and joy. The fast-paced narrative kept me hooked, especially with the suspense of a secret. The characters are so well-developed, and I couldn't help but root for them. Pretend Ever After is a heartbreakingly beautiful tale of hope, love, and fighting for what you believe in. I highly recommend this engaging trilogy that leaves you longing for a brighter future.

4.5 'Never lose hope' Stars!

I've been curious about Eva Morelli and Finn Hughes' love story since Skye Warren teased us about them in a Christmas anthology. I am not a huge fan of reading two or more books about the same couple but I have to say Skye did a wonderful job with this series. I was so addicted to the story, to this couple, the obstacles on their way and their amazing chemistry.

It's always good to be back in the Midnight Dynasty world, a collection so many beloved authors have collaborated in. I loved how Skye developed this particular story, I loved the connection between Eva and Finn and the uniqueness of the main topic in this series (I don't want to spoil anything for anyone so I will not say what it is!). So, if you haven't checked this series yet, make sure you do, you'll not regret it!

Eva and Finn are hiding so much from the world. They seem to know the other will understand them, and what starts out as a fake relationship, quickly evolves into so much more. There were so many unexpected twists in the story, I was glued to it. They don’t make things easy for themselves, and take a few detours, on their way to finding their peace. When it all implodes, that emotional roller coaster doesn’t stop. These two have to weather some tough realities, but, they learn to draw strength from each other, and help face their fears. There were a lot of tears shed while reading this, but there was never any doubt that these two could, and would, face everything that came their way, and be happy while they did it!

This box set contains the three books in the Hughes Series (One For The Money, Two For The Show, and Three To Get Ready) by this author. It chronicles the emotional, steamy romance between Eva Morelli and Finn Hughes in the Midnight Dynasty world. Their strong connection, explosive chemistry, and the gripping storyline make for a captivating read. What starts out as a fake relationship turns into something more. Quite well written and sexy, it is a heartfelt love story with more than enough drama, hope, love, courage, humor, family dynamic, passion, and steam, plus a stellar cast of secondary characters to keep the reader interested. What a phenomenal read!

I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from Valentine PR and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
