I have millions of followers on social media, and it has absolutely nothing to do with my last name. It’s because I’m good at what I do. I work hard, and it has paid off. I’m not a trainer who only talks the talk, either. I walk the walk—or rather, I run the run. It was actually during one of those jogs through the park that I ran into him.
Of course, at the time, I didn’t realize it was the Isaiah “Ike” Harrison, Seattle’s hot new quarterback. All I knew was that I was suddenly pinned under some solid, sexy body, unable to breathe.
But even now, I keep running into Ike in the most unexpected places. And he’s doing everything in his power to convince me that he’s not just a player—in any form of the word. It’s so much more than that. But I’ve been there, done that. I have the mended broken heart to prove it and have no intention of doing it again. Except the frustrating man is convincing, and my walls are quickly lowering—especially when I feel responsible for possibly upending his career.
Is letting him in a mistake? Or will it be the best thing I’ve ever done?

This was a very quick, nice and romantic read for me. I do admit, I have not read the main series "With me in Seattle", but I am am sure that they are just as good as "The Score". Hopefully when I have time in near future I will be reading them all.
The relationship between Sophie and Ike started really quick and easy. There wasn't any unnecessary drama regarding them, just 1 or 2 small bits and pieces. The attraction between them was instant and they fell so easily in the routine of their dating life. I also loved to see the Montgomery clan couple of times. And because I've mentioned that I didn't read the other books, everytime a couple was popping up within the story, I was checking them up on Google 😁.
They were soo cute and the heat between them was soo soo good. I devoured the book for a day. I loved them both as a couple and I am soo happy that I had the chance to read their story
One thing I am wondering though...I don't know if we will have a book about Keaton Montgomery 🤔. I really hope so ♥️♥️♥️.
***I received an ARC from Valentine PR and this is my voluntary review.***
The Score is the insta-love story of Sophie, a social media nutritionist, and Ike, a quarterback. Their relationship has a fun meet cute and second run in that ramps right into a relationship. Sophie is curvy and plus sized, in a prologue we see Sophie in her youth learning about the death of a friend due to an eating disorder, and from this moment on, Sophie learns to take her health and body image into her own hands and learns to be proud of her body, and fuel her body in a nutritions way. Sophie is level-headed and smart. She is surrounded by her large and supportive family. Ike, unfortunately, does not have a great role model in his father, and this becomes a large part of the outside tension in the novel. I really enjoyed that Ike and Sophie are so attracted to each other. They are easily taken with the other, and they swiftly and smoothly fall into a comfortable pattern with each other. Their relationship is low angst with any conflict really coming from the outside. Both are able to quickly move through issues. They both compliment and support each other very easily, and this is overall an enjoyable and quick read.
I am a huge fan of the Montgomery Family in the With Me series. When I found out we were getting the second generation, the books could not get to me fast enough. Every book in the series just gets better, and The Score hooked me from page one.
Issac’s daughter Sophie is a social media darling who has found her niche and does it well. Ike is Seattle’s star quarterback and friends with her Uncle Will. While neither is particularly looking for a relationship, they do enjoy each other’s company. Will more than a friendship form?
Ike does have some outside distractions, but Sophie is in his corner. Will he take his team to the Championship?
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
It’s no secret that I am a HUGE fan of this author, the With Me series, this series, anything she writes. Take your pick. I love it.
Sophie and Ike meet while they are both out on a run, and he runs her over. He’s immediately smitten with her, as she gives him some sass and leaves. Later in the day these 2 meet again over at uncle Will’s house. Turns out Ike is the QB for Seattle, and Sophie is interested in him as well! Their chemistry was burning through my kindle, the banter / sass / humor was totally my thing, I was chuckling and laughing a lot. I even had to shed a tear or 2, maybe more. Sophie came a long way growing up, and Ike also has his baggage which leads to some family drama, but he has tons of help from Will as well.
What can I say….Kristen Proby wrote this book and it was amazing! I never want this Seattle Family Saga to end. I love being in this world.
Kristen is the queen of writing a heartwarming romance but with the perfect amount of spice to make you melt along the way. I also love that she adds just the right amount of drama that it makes the story interesting but not rolling my eyes and getting annoyed!!
The score is a sport romance but it’s not over whelming. There was more to this story then just a football storyline. She did touch on some touchy subjects both with Sophie and Ike. But I thought she handled them perfectly!!
If you love Kristen’s books or are just looking for that great sports romance novel, then give this book a try….but I will warn you….once you pick up one of her books, you will want to read them all!!!
These books are aggressively mediocre. The characters are all the same but just in a different font and they have literally the same interactions with each other over and over again. Yet why can't I stop reading them?
One of my favorite series has a new book and what a book it is! I could not put it down and may have stayed up all night to finish it. Lol that what I get for starting it at 11pm. But like I said With Me in Seattle is one of my all-time favorite series and when Kristen Proby announce she is doing continuing the story with the kids (Single in Seattle) I was so excited. We are now on book 3 and can’t get enough. And the way each story ends, squeezes my heart, because it’s from the prospecting of the parents (the OGs). If you haven’t read these books, go now!
Sophie’s life altered when her best friend passed away when she was 13. After therapy and learning about nutrition, she wanted to grow up and help people like her best friend, that didn’t know better. And that’s what she did, she grew up and was one of the most nutritionist coaches and influencer. She was focused on her job and her family. She wasn’t going out looking for a guy to mess with or find the one, like most girls. If it happened then it’ll happen. She knew she had curves and that’s not everyone’s likes.
Ike had been drafted and went straight to Seattle to play for the NFL team there. He was 25 and his 3 year contract was ending. He was stressed about the renegotiation and on his life right now was up in the air. Everyone was telling him he had nothing to worry about but his family wasn’t normal, well his dad wasn’t and he had drained him with the first contract. He needed to focus on staying fit and playing well. He could not mess this up.
The chemistry amongst the characters was fire from the first chapter, when Ike ran into Sophie and knocked her down. The way he could not stop looking at her was it for me, I knew he wanted her but to Sophie it was some random person that knocked her over, yes he was hot, but he wasn’t looking at her like that. Well that was until later that day they ran into each other at her Uncle Will’s house, and he could not stop looking at her. He knew he had to do anything to take her out.
2 different people with 2 different family dynamics. No matter how much they wanted this to work out, could their family be the cause of their separation or will they fight anyone and everything that got in the way to be together?
Received this ARC for my honest review and opinion.
I think I might have recovered enough from this amazing read to sing its praises. I have been in such an amazing book coma. All I keep thinking is how Ike scored when he collided with Sophie. But, then again, Sophie really scored when Ike knocked her off of her feet.
Apologizes were exchanged but names were not. Yet, neither could stop thinking of the collision or the other person. Neither could I. I was dying to know how they would meet back up. I knew it would happen but was clueless of how it would happen.
The fates intervene. Sophie heads over to her Uncle Will's to share some of the food she prepared for work as a nutritionist. He never says no to her food. He never says no to the guys on the Seattle football team when they ask for guidance either. I was giddy with excitement when Sophie and Ike actually meet.
The chemistry between them is so hot. Ike and Sophie just fit. Sparks fly. They steam up the pages. I loved each and every minute of their romance and courtship. They were destined to be together. It soon becomes apparent that Ike has no clue what it is like to be around such an amazing, supportive family. Sophie is more than happy to share the Montgomerys with him.
There is no such thing as perfect, but I sure felt like Ike and Sophie were pretty darn close. He will need that connection as his world comes crashing down. I couldn't believe the crazy turn the story took. The tension was intense. I was to upset over what Ike had to go through.
I was hooked on the story for the romance. I devoured the story wanting to know how Ike could be on top of the world one minute only for it to come crashing down the next. I have to say I didn't see it coming, but that is what makes it such an amazing story.
The drama, the treachery, the love and family connection have me still thinking about The Score 24 hours later. I don't think I will forget Ike and Sophie any time soon.
Wow! I loved the With Me Seattle series, but the next gen is so good, if not better! I absolutely loved how Ike and Sophie met. It was cute. They had a connection and it was fire. Ike is just the best and became one of my favorites of the next gen. I loved seeing more about the cousins lives. There were O’Callaghan sightings!! Learning what Sophie went through just really tugged at your heart and how she triumphed. But her and Ike coming together was the best part of the book. Now who’s next and how quickly?
The Score was stale - a lot of the same old, same old and nothing really new to bring to the table. The Montgomery clan is too big and too perfect and the characters floating in and out of the story with all their perfection is distracting to the actual story that is supposed to be the point. Yawn.
It's always a good time when you get to read another story in the With Me In Seattle spin-off series Single in Seattle and hang out with the Montgomery clan!
This time around we get to witness the fun, sexy, beautiful journey between Sophie and Isaiah "Ike" Harrison into relationship status. I just loved the banter and sexiness between these two, it just lit up my tablet and made reading their story so enjoyable.
Sophie is curvy, sexy, sassy, will speak her mind like no one's business, could careless what anyone thought and I loved that about her. Ike is the tall, sexy as sin and so damn swoon worthy it should be illegal quarterback that knocks Sophie off her feet....literally. Watching these two maneuver through family issues, personal situations and outside interference only to come out on top was magical.
"For the first time in my life, I’m being pulled into a family that actually loves me for me and not for what I can do for them. I have to get used to that. But for Sophie, I’ll do anything."
If you enjoy a banter-filled, drunken shenanigans, sexy as hell read that will keep you laughing and smiling throughout you may want to grab this one and cozy up for one fun ride!
This book was a breath of fresh air for me! It seems like most contemporary romance lately have the same 2-3 tropes filled with drama. This book felt natural to me. The couple meet, they are attracted to each other, he asks her out and they actually date and get to know each other.... no Fake relationship, no forbidden romance, no relationship drama. SOOOO GOOOOD!
I loved the dating and getting to know each other part of this book especially, they truly enjoyed each other, laughed, flirted and completely acted like themselves. This made me fall in love with their relationship. I really liked how real these characters were. Sophie was a girl next door who loves her huge family and was honestly proud of the people in her life for their accomplishments. Ike was a strong silent type who had a little baggage but didn't let that change who he was. Oh and he volunteered with an animal rescue so that made me love him even more ;)
I wish there were more stories like this one that left me feeling happy and light hearted when it was over. The narration was perfect, really enjoyed both Kristen Leigh & Jason Clark. Great casting choice!
5 stars || Thank you Valentines PR and Kristen Proby for this ARC !
wow. i have no words. ike harrison is the most perfect man to ever be written into existence. no one can top this man. Kristen literally captured me from the very first chapter, i became obsessed with ike and sophie. I love the way she wrote about this massive family (the montgomerys). now i haven’t read any other books from this author but straight away i could tell that this was a spin off series, the aunties and uncles and cousins were mentioned a lot more than a typical book would mention them in that’s how i could tell they all had their own books. i have a love hate relationship with that, i love reading a long series about a family and following them all through life, on the other hand you get massive FOMO when you only read one random one from the series (me right now). this book made me fall massively in love with this family and i want to read all the books but there is soooo many.
besides all that family talk ….. sophie and ike were soulmates, i adored them so much i needed more of them. they quickly became one of my favourite couples i’ve read so far, along with the book being a top contender so far to being a fav read of the year 👀. the way they were able to communicate was so refreshing to read. LOVED this book so much and cannot wait to explore more of this author.
The Score (Single in Seattle, #3) by Kristen Proby 4.5 stars M/F Romance Triggers: Eating disorders, Financial abuse I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.
Sophie is doing just great in her life. She loves her family and her career. And, while it's sad how she decided to go into nutrition, she's proud of the brand that she's created. Living her best life, she literally runs into Ike, a new Seattle football player. The attraction is quite instant.
Ike is loving playing for Seattle and knows that he has what it takes to take his team to the championship. But, he has family weight that he isn't quite sure how to cut. With his team in the off season, Ike is welcomed into the family by Will, a mentor and friend. What Ike doesn't know is that the beauty he literally ran into is Will's niece.
With Ike and Sophie allowing their attraction to grow, both will have to navigate their new relationship, family issues that resemble what Meg (previous With Me in Seattle book) went through and a snake in the grass who wants their relationship to fail, Sophie's family and Ike's love will have to find a new path.
I truly loves this spin off series of the original. You would not be disappointed reading the original series and this one. And, while this book can be read as a standalone, I recommend you read them all.
I was given the e-arc from the author in exchange for an honest review.
This book is the perfect example of why I love Kristen’s writing.
I absolutely love this book! Sophie and Ike are so cute together! I really enjoyed Ike’s laid back character, overcoming the odds and getting himself out of the situation that was in. I love that we know Sophie is curvy but she’s healthy and it’s not a point to her character, she’s Sophie who’s a curvy nutritionist, comfortable with herself, period.
Since we know this series is a spin-off of the With Me in Seattle series, I enjoyed seeing all the couples as parents! Will is still hungry and silly but more mature and wise. Matt is still protective and Isaac is still the wise oldest sibling!
This book gave me all the feels in every way! Another great love story Kristen!

This is the first book I read in the series and I am floored. This was everything I expected and more. I loved Kristen's writing style and was completely lost in her narration.
It was too easy to fall in love with Ike and Sophie I, fell instantly. I loved both there personalities and there chemistry. Also, how there relationship grew. There fun banter kept me engrossed in them and I was rooting for them to get the happiness.
Ike made me swoon at many instances and I was glad he finally got a loving family. I am in love with the Montgomery family and I'm gonna go back and start from the beginning asap.
Thanks to Kristen and Valentine's promotion for the advanced copy.
I read an ARC of The Score by Kristen Proby but I couldn’t resist the audiobook too. This sports romance between NFL QB Ike and health and fitness personality Sophie was a lot of fun, but not without some drama. I loved these characters and loved all the cameos from characters from the With Me in Seattle world. The Score is the third book in the Single in Seattle series but can be read as a standalone. Fair warning, it might make you want to read all the others! I loved this book and am also loving the audio so definitely add it to your TBRs!
I adored Sophie and Ike! This book was sweet, swoony and easy to get lost in! I’ll be back with my full review . . . Sophie has grown up around fame. She herself has quite the social media following. When she and Ike run into each other, they are drawn to one another. Fame has no place between them. I liked how realistic this book felt and I could feel the emotions through the page. Sophie has a strong-knit family and they look out for one another. Ike isn't so lucky in the family department, but he's lucky to have Sophie in his life. I liked the ease between them and how well they meshed. I was rooting for them and didn't want this book to end!
"It had been awhile since I visited the ""With Me in Seattle"" series. I had missed a few books here and there but it was like a family welcoming you back with a warm hug.
Sophie has made waves in the online community promoting body positivity and healthy habits then she meets Ike. Kinda blows him off until she visits her Uncle Will and discovers he's a star QB. A friendship develops (with very little drama, thankfully) and the story just makes you happy.
A quick read that left me smiling and wanting to re-read the entire ""With me in Seattle"" series again. " ~Paige💜
I love the Montgomery family. They are all fiercely loyal and a little crazy, they are the family that everyone wants!
Sophie and Ike had mad chemistry from the first time they met. This book was as steamy as it was sweet!! Highly recommend reading this entire series as well as the first generations books!!
Insanely cute, perfectly steamy, with a great family dynamic. Such a fun read, I highly recommend this one. *I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
When i need a purge from my usual reading, diving into a Kristen Proby book is always what i need. to have a "plus" size character with the confidence she has is refreshing to see.
What a fun and witty read. Such great writing keeps you not wanting to put the book down. The family dynamics are something we all wish we had. When someone just seems too good to be true, you want to just give up. But when you're proved wrong time and time again, you're heart tells you other wise.
The single in Seattle series is nailing it one book at a time. I love This family so much and watching the second generation fall in love is everything we would expect from Kristen and sooo much more. Ike is a professional football player living his best life. He is a humble quarterback and an all around nice guy. Sophie works hard and plays harder with her cousins. When these two literally run into each other one day it’s pretty much insta love. As these two get to know each other they are dealing with life around them. Between his family drama, her outspoken family and life in general this book was very entertaining. When the Montgomery family get together you are guaranteed laugh out loud banter and some touching moments. Wow did I love Ike and the way he was with Sophie, so respectful and caring. They were made for each other. I swear this family get better with each book. I love seeing what former characters are goi g to pop I to each book…I’m never disappointed. I’m already looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
The Score is an adult romance involving a football player and a nutritionist/influencer. It is a steamy meet-cute. The relationship develops quickly so readers don't have long to wait. This is far from being a slow burn. The conflict is largely external to the relationship, which I enjoyed (I don't like having a ton of conflicts involving the relationship dynamic itself). I also really liked the theme of family that was prevalent throughout this one.
Overall, this was a fun and light read - it was exactly what I needed right now.
