Final Proposal

Rate this book
Fall in love with billionaire, Fordham Sharpe, and sassy businesswoman, Ellery Sinclair, in this all-new wrong place at the right time, forced proximity, office romance by New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg.

One stormy night.
One hotel bar full of stranded travelers.
One available chair next to a charming, mysterious, and sexy-as-hell man.

There was something about him and our conversation that made me feel alive. That made me feel heard. That sparked a fire within me.

When our paths crossed again, I never expected the stranger to be Fordham Sharpe, one-third of the sinfully rich and ridiculously successful Sharpe International Network brothers. Nor did I expect we’d become partners—fifty-fifty—in a hotel transformation that dreams were made of.

My dreams, anyway.

To him, I was off limits. He was my venture partner, and we knew better than to mix business with pleasure. But we had one thing in common—we were both hiding. From our pasts. From unresolved family conflicts. From what really mattered—our hearts.

But as each day passed, our mutual attraction became harder to resist.

We agreed to the partnership to prove our worth to our families, but perhaps we’d only prove our need for something else. Each other.

Are you ready to fall for the Sharpe brothers in K. Bromberg's sexy, contemporary, billionaire romance series? These books can all be read as standalones, but can be enjoyed as a series as well . . .

You . . . you are the biggest pain in my ass and the greatest love of my life.”

The third and final Sharpe brother is here and he was definitely worth the wait. Ford has been the rock of the Sharpe brothers, the stable one, the hardworking one. And now on the cusp of his father's book coming out after his passing, he's also the one spiraling. Need to get away from it all lands him at a hotel where a bout of bad weather locks him in for the night. There in the bar he meets a woman who changes everything, only he has no idea who she is and doesn't expect to see her again.

Ellery Sinclair has everything to prove. Her step brothers take constant credit for her ideas, and it's almost impossible to prove her worth to her stepfather. All she wants is something of her own. And then she finds the perfect opportunity, with the perfect hotel renovation, with the unlikeliest of business partners, Ford Sharpe.

If you're a fan of forced proximity, this one brings it in spades. Locked together for their business venture these two try as hard as they can to deny and avoid their incendiary chemistry. But it doesn't take long for it to finally get the best of them. I loved the way these two build each other up and bring out each other's best and worst. They challenge each other. They fight and they make up and I was so here for it. And even though I'm not usually a big fan of sweet contemporary, this one just hit the spot just right when it brought all the feels. And I particularly loved Ellery's love for romance books feature some very steamy scenes from Bromberg's previous books. That's a steamy cameo I couldn't get enough of.

4 'Just Ford' Stars!

We are back with the Sharpe brothers and K. Bromberg is ending their series with another beautiful love story. I do believe this woman can write anything and I will sure love it. Final Proposal was no exception. The last book in this series is a one-night stand / workplace romance with another two incredible characters that you’ll love getting to know. Are you ready for the conclusion?

So, Final Proposal is the third and final installment in Kristy’s S.I.N series and it tells the story of the Sharpe middle twin, Fordham. Ford is having a rough night and he is not happy to be stranded in a bar full of strangers. Enter Ellery Sinclair, a mysterious sassy woman that will make this night the start of something neither expected. What they didn’t expect was crossing paths again and having to work together on a renovation project. Will this off-limits connection burn between Ford and Elle or will they be able to resist the temptation?

Desire. Need. Want. Greed. The four battled within me in those split seconds. Fuck decorum. Screw our partnership. The things that were going through my head were anything but partnership-amiable.

Another beautiful ending to another wonderful series from one of my top favorite authors! Of course, I am not surprised that Kristy gave us another Sharpe brother to fall in love with and another kickass heroine to sass the heck out of him. The chemistry between Ford and Ellery is intense from the very start and while circumstances are not easy for these two to act on it, the connection is too strong. I loved the depth of this couple, reading about their vulnerabilities and their love for their families and one another. I’ve fallen even more in love with all the crew we’ve met throughout the whole series and I am sure the fans will be pleased with the ending and this love story.

Fire’s got nothing on love.
On what you’d do for it.
On what you’d give for it.
On how bad you’ll burn for it.

Therefore, I am rating Final Proposal with 4 STARS because Bromberg gave the middle Sharpe brother the happy ending he deserved with a heroine to match him perfectly. Ford and Ellery were such a great couple. And as I said, I love everything this author writes and the S.I.N series is no exception. I do have to say the first book in the series was my favorite, but I do love them all and its outstanding characters. Get ready to fall in love with the Sharpe twins and the women who will bring them to their feet!

Ellery + Ford

Ford is the last of the Sharpe triplets to find his happily ever after.
And it begins after a fight with his brothers. He wants to escape the city for a bit, but on his way to their Hamptons house he gets stuck in a small hotel bar due to bad weather and closed roads.
Enter Ellery.
She's basically on the run from her family too. Her step father and step brothers won't let her work at the family company the way she wants to and her kinda ex-fiancé was also kind of picked by the men in her life. She just had to get out of there for a bit.
Like many other travelers Ellery and Ford spend the night in the hotel bar. They talk about everything.
And when they part ways the next morning without exchaning last names and numbers - they both do leave with the same spark of an idea in their heads:
Buy the aged Inn and breathe new life into it ...

LET THE FUN TIMES BEGIN ...

Well, that was adorable!

From the first meet cute in the hotel bar to the very end - just the most adorable love story.
Both Ellery and Ford are a bit mad at their family and they could both use this solo job of renovating the old hotel at this moment in their lives. And now they're doing it together. Even better. It won't be hard to resist this huge attraction while working and living together, right? LOL!
I just adored those two.
It was such a cute romance. With lots of funny moments and sparky and sexy ones. But also some very moving and heartbreaking ones.
Great location - great cast.
I loved reading this. Wouldn't mind to get the Sharpe brothers as a Netflix show one day!

FINAL PROPOSAL was the perfect final book in this adorable series! Sweet and funny and sparky and sexy and a bit heartbreaking too! Run to your nearest amazon for your own Ford - he'll be sold out in no time!

Well well well.. Fordham Sharpe you really are something else. And the connection between Ellery and Ford?? It’s sooo good. I love the banter, the angst, the teasing and everything. I like the order of the story and it’s really well constructed. And with the plot like that? I loved it. And well this definitely the spiciest of all three. Overall very good book. You definitely should put it on your tbr asap!

And thankyou so much for K. Bromberg and ValentinePR for the ARC! I’m really appreciate it!

Fordham the University & Celery Ellery

I love this book the middle triplet Fordham Sharpe. The only one that’s not married and is alone in a bar stuck in a tropical storm. Ford was disappointed & hurt that his father the late Max Sharp biography had painted him as “Just Ford” now the world would know he was not important in his father life. In comes Ellery with bigger than life personality, by the end of the night Ford had forgot why he was really there sulking. By the time he woke the next morning Ellery was gone. Now on a mission Ford was determined to make his own name by coming up with another signature for the S.I.N. Luxury resorts. He was going to buy an Inn that was being auctioned and guess who was biding also? Yes, Celery Ellery… they decided on a 50/50 partnership. Now all Ford and Ellery had to remember business and pleasure never mix…

Final Proposal by K. Bromberg is the third book in The S.I.N. Series. This is Ellery and Fordham’s story.

Ellery and Fordham meet one day when they are stranded in a bar because of a storm. This was the perfect beginning to their story, and I adored both of them from the first page and was rooting for them after the first few chapters.

Both protagonists are working for the family business, but that looks very different. While Ellery inherited her place in the family renovation company, her stepfather and brothers don’t take her seriously and she is very underwhelmed and wants to be more involved. Therefore, she decides to work on her own project and buys a run-down inn.

Fordham is one of the Sharp brothers and their business is super successful, yet he feels like that he still doesn’t fully fit in, and he also wants to work on a new project. The two of them end up working on the inn together and that creates the most amazing tension, and the forced proximity situation brings them a lot closer. The bond they create through that is beyond words. In addition, their banter and chemistry are just amazing, and it leads to so many fabulous scenes like the one in the bathroom. I just love this book so much.

Overall, Final Proposal is my new favorite in this series and I’m in love with Ellery and Fordham and you should all read this amazing book. 5 stars.

(audiobook) The story was just okay in my opinion, but with a couple of very interesting elements.

Ellery and Ford are like the mirror image of each other: both work at their family’s company; both have lost their parents; both have brothers. But they sure don’t have the same experience. While Ford has always been valued–at least he thought so until the beginning of the book–Ellery has been bullied by her misogynistic brothers. When they meet, they’re at a crossroads, and somehow they both think that buying the hotel where they spend the night talking is the solution to all their problems and the way to prove themselves. Which lead to a business partnership… and maybe more.

While they don’t admit it at first, the fact that that place means so much to them that they want to save it is revealing. I loved seeing them work together while managing their little fling.

I found Ford’s struggles after his father’s death quite compelling. Who doesn’t relate to someone looking for their parents’ approval. His closure was absolutely beautiful–though it could have happened way earlier in his story, saving him from so much suffering and doubt.

I was more dubious about Ellery’s struggles. Not that I didn’t understand why she wanted to prove herself–that was actually good, fighting the patriarchy and all that. But I really didn’t get why she refused to love. Her reasoning didn’t make sense in my opinion. And since it was the main source of the couple’s conflict, I just wanted to slap her.

Another tiny element in the story made me happy: the use of romance novels to spice up Ellery and Ford’s bed activities. It could have been ridiculous, but the author made it one of the hotest scenes in the story.

But really, what made the book more than acceptable was the narration. The female narrator did a great job, but the male narrator outdid himself in a couple of scenes. Quite an audiobook for a decent romance.

Quickie

- Series: SIN #3 (can be read as a standalone)
- Hashtags: #billionaire romance #office romance #forced proximity
- Triggers: past death
- Main couple: Ellery Sinclair & Fordham Sharpe
- Hotness: 4/5
- Romance: 4/5
- + I knew romance novels were useful
- – I didn’t buy Ellery’s hang ups

The Sharpe brothers are back and better than ever. This is finally Ford's story and I fell in love with him and Ellery. A storm is a brewing, and I am not just referring to the weather. A chance meeting at a worn-down inn on the coast, two very hard on themselves individuals, tantalizing conversation, fabulous chemistry and wonderfully fun witty banter. They talk all night but in the morning as the storm clears, she is gone. Let's say fate has other plans as they are about to meet again weeks later attempting to outbid one another for the inn. Ellery is woman on a mission. she has been trying to prove herself for years to her stepfather and her not so nice stepbrothers. They have been taking her ideas for years and pawning them off as their own. Now it is time to take some of her own money and make a name for herself on her own with this cozy attention needing inn. Little did she know that she met a hotel mogul that night many weeks ago and he is about to outbid her and then surprise her with a deal.
This couple is refreshing, adorable, so funny, they are smoldering, I just loved their conversations and the slow burn for their relationship! What a great wrap up for this series!

K. Bromberg writes the romances I want to live inside. I've never had a bad thing to say about her books, and surprise, surprise... that isn't changing now.

📚 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲: Billionaire romance

👤 𝗣𝗢𝗩: Dual

📖 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: Ford meets Ellery when weather strands them at an inn in the Hamptons. They both feel chemistry toward each other, but also fall in love with the property. Now they're partners, working to bring the Inn a new look and trying desperately to keep it professional between them.

🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: I've loved every single book in the SIN Series. Hands down. No questions. Billionaire brothers? Always sign me up. But Cal, Ledger and Ford have been so much more than that.

The Final Proposal was perfection. Ford is absolutely, hands down, the perfect man written by a woman. His POV is so ridiculously romantic I can barely get over myself. And I loved reading Ellery. Her aversion to commitment and love made Ford have to prove himself (in all the best ways, I might add).

But under the Billionaire romance, under the spice, there was a lot of emotions in this one. I cried twice, big fat alligator tears. I laughed. I could picture everything so vividly. And that's what makes K. Bromberg's writing so fantastic.

And it wrapped up with the perfect ending epilogue to the series. Huge thumbs up for me all the way across. Start at the beginning if you haven't already - the Sharpe brothers can not be missed.

𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 4.5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Final Proposal is the final book in the S.I.N trilogy about 3 hot billionaires brothers that happen to be triplets. These books have been hot, sexy and full of great chemistry between all the leads. BUT, I have to say, Fordham Sharpe may be my favorite. What is it about characters that have been hurt in the past that just gets me? And when it’s two of them?....I’m a goner.

2 strangers that are running away from problems at home end up getting caught in a storm where they have to wait it out in a lobby/bar of a rundown inn. Ford Sharpe has just discovered something in his father's book that doesn't sit right with him and he is feeling some sort of way, so he just needs time away from his brothers and out of the city. Meanwhile, Ellery Sinclair is done with her family. Her step brothers continuously knock her down and have given her no credit for her work and her stepfather does nothing to support her. She's ready to go out on her own and figure out her life on her terms. But getting caught in a storm with an attractive stranger was not in the plans.

Right from the beginning and their meet cute, I was in love with Ellery and Ford's chemistry. They had that je ne sais quoi. I'm so thankful that a rundown inn brought them together and ultimately reunited them in a venture that neither one of them saw coming. What follows is major sexual tension, close proximity, workplace romance with a scene of "there's only one bed" that was sexy as hell and full of vulnerability from two very strong and intelligent characters. But what really got me was seeing Ford being, well, just Ford. He has that charisma with just enough side of grumpy that made him delectable. Add in the fact that he is supportive and an amazing cheerleader for Ellery who needs it more now than ever. She hasn't had support like Fordham's since her parents and she honestly doesn't know what to do with it.

Elle and Ford are two damaged characters that form a friendship over time by working together and supporting one another. They work through their issues together, but Elle still keeps a piece of herself hidden away from Ford. That was the very small part that frustrated me a bit, but honestly, their attraction and banter more than made up for it. They were vulnerable and honest when it mattered most and the way they showed their love for one another was obvious. I enjoyed their journey to find each other and happiness with one another. Fordham the University and Celery Ellery were a team made in heaven. I absolutely love them as a couple, but I really love the relationship that Ford has with his brothers. That epilogue wrapped up the story perfectly. I'm sad this series is over, but am so thankful that Fordham and Ellery wrapped up the fun and sexy series with a side of emotional.

The Sharpe brothers are all sinfully sexy in many different ways. This last book of the series is Fordham's story and let me just say he will melt your heart like no other.

I honestly don't understand how it's possible to be a much bigger fan of K. Bromberg's work than I was yesterday. So far, I've read every single book- maybe even more than once or twice. Yet, here I am experiencing something that is impossible to explain because words don't do this book justice. The feelings she sucked out of me, the tears she managed to make fall, and the forever space these characters hold in my heart is ride that will never be forgotten.

What a fabulous conclusion to the series. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every Sharpe brothers’ story.

Fordham as the middle child a little “less than” when against his brothers. And upon hearing his father call him “Just Ford” posthumously there wasn’t anything to be done to prevent his internal turmoil and downward emotional spiral.

Enter Elle in all her feminine glory and quirks. No less a stranger to feeling alone among siblings she and Ford embark on a professional adventure that you just knew would eventually lead to the bedroom.

Amazing story, loveable characters and the typical K Bromberg fabulous writing. An absolute joy to read!

WHOA! This was just delicious and adorable. Maybe my favorite :) If you have not start this SIN series get started with Last Resort and On One Condition. They are all standalone of course but it is worth it because these heroes are triplets, each one get a book and let me tell you they are all HOT :-)
Final Proposal is the last book feature Ford Sharpe, “one-third of the sinfully rich and ridiculously successful Sharpe International Network brothers” and sassy businesswoman, Ellery Sinclair. They met in a bar where they were stuck to ride out the storm for the night. Ellery and Ford shared a night talking over germ-filled Chex Mix and drinks. The next day they went separate ways. They did not expected to cross path again and became fifty-fifty partners in a hotel transformation project. Both Ford and Ellery have a chip on their shoulders and some bones to pick with their respective families. So a little time apart from family business and taking on a solo project together is important to both of them. Sparks and sexual chemistry they aren’t lacking but nothing can happen between them since they are business partners – easy said than done, right? Especially they are now living on site together in a confine place for months on end  Ford and Ellery are adorable together. I like their chemistry and how easy and fun they are. So many light-hearted moments but also a bit of a moving and emotional story as well. KB doesn’t disappoint in giving her hero and heroine a HEA ending of course :) What a great “escape from reality” book for me. Any time I can get a well-written sexy romance with all the feels, tugged at my heartstrings, and a happy ending I am all for it! This one is quite possibly my favorite of the series. LOVE the epilogue – sometimes it is that important because it’s the last thing you read! AMAZING read highly recommended!

K. Bromberg once again packs a wallop in the three-book S.I.N. Series with the Final Proposal. Be ready to laugh out loud while reading this engaging romance.

It’s time for the last of the Sharpe identical triplets to get his turn in the spotlight. From the first installment, Fordham Sharpe has been my favorite. Oh! I liked Callahan and Ledger a lot – but Ford wins the top prize from start to finish. His story was a little different and, in my opinion, deeper and with more emotional entanglements. He really had some things to get off his chest.

It may take you a minute or two to warm up to our sassy and smart-as-a-whip heroine Ellery Sinclair, but you will love Ford from the start. This author has a gift for bestowing her readers with characters that mature as the story progresses. There’s plenty of clever and witty banter flying between Ford and Ellery but their romance is a bit of a slow burn. But when the sparks ignite, they burn the house down in a believable and well-developed romantic relationship. With family at its core, this story is rich with feelings that run the gamut.

It’s always a treat when the story is told from both sides of the table/bed. For me, getting points of view from each of the main characters completes the development of their individuality, personality, thoughts and feelings and brings their relationship to life.

An all-around perfect HAPPILY-EVER-AFTER that delighted with every turn of the page and left me with warm fuzzy feelings!

NOTE: All three books in the S.I.N. Series are now available on Kindle Unlimited.
Also, look for the beginning of a new sports-related series from Bromberg in April 2023 with The Player followed by The Catch in June 2023.

Final Proposal by K. Bromberg was all about stormy emotions, facing the demons inside and finding love in the most unexpected person. Fordham Sharpe surprised me in the best way possible. This alpha billionaire has vulnerabilities those will make you weak at knees and Ellery Sinclair is that kind of complex and fierce woman who was supposed to destroy his walls. Sexy. Heartfelt. Full of witty banter, sizzling hot chemistry and unforgettable characters; Final Proposal was a complete package.

Hotel tycoon Ford Sharpe was running from his issues and got stuck in a storm and in an old seasid inn. And he meets Ellery there. She fascinated him and their paths separated next morning. Only to cross again few days later at an auction where that inn was on sale and they were both trying to bid for it. It appears Ford isn't the only one with family issues and Ellery has to find her own space away from her stepbrother and her family business where she is never appreciated. They agree to be partners. All those days..staying in the inn undergoing renovation..can they resist their pull?

Ford has always come across this rock solid and level headed businessman in the previous books about his brother. He always tried to prove himself to his father who passed away years ago and that one line in his father's biography made him spiral out. My heart breaks for him. He is full with this resentment and anger and sometimes it appears his brothers are not getting his issues but that's not true. It will take some time for him to see it. Ellery has always been afraid to love as people she loved always left. But Ford just invaded her heart with his seductive charm, cocky arrogance, swoonworthy protectiveness and overall the super sexy way of respecting and appreciating her. For a brilliant, hard working and incredible woman starving for true attention and unconditional love, Ford was the kryptonite. It was a story of two somehow broken people. They had this witty, flirty and adorable friendship from the beginning. The passion and chemistry was burning slowly till it all exploded. They understood each other in unique way. And that happily ever after was well earned.

And we have the last book from the S.I.N. series that features Ford and Ellery.

They were perfect to each other. They met during a storm, and they spent the entire night speaking with each other. A month later destiny led them to an auction to buy an Inn, so they can restore it. I liked reading how they started feeling the attraction between them and at one point give in.

In some way they were both damaged and they needed to do some healing. The emotional scars they were carrying helped them to hold on to each other and believe in love.

The Epilogue was soo nice and cute that it made me swoon all over ♥️.

***I was provided with an ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.***

What a great finale to the S.I.N series. Fordham Sharpe or "Just Ford" stole my heart in this stormy, sexy and spicy romance that I devoured in one sitting.

I really loved these three brothers and their individual stories. Final Proposal was my personal favourite and a great addition to this series of stand-alones.

I loved the setting, the overall feel, the dynamics between the characters and their personal backstories. It was a perfect combination of everything I love in a book.

I couldn't put it down. I can't say there was anything unheard of in the story - two people partnering together under unusual circumstances but K. Bromberg's writing is so captivating and intriguing the pages seem to fly.

Ford and Ellery's banter, their cute nicknames for each other, their forbidden love and the chemistry were off the charts. They complemented each other so perfectly. I love all Bromberg women - strong, independent and ambitious, but always with a touch of self-doubt and vulnerability. And Ford was one of her good guys. Although he seemed rough and edgy at first, he knew how to empower a woman and give her the confidence to take out the best in her. He was definitely a dreamy book boyfriend.

Besides, I loved the dynamics in the Sharpe family. The love between the brothers although they had their differences was flowing from the pages. The appearances of both Ledger and Callahan and the glimpses in their lives were such an great addition to this story and made me smile. Their witty banter and the manly way they cared for each other definitely made me love the three hot triplets even more.

I enjoyed the slow build-up of romance and sexual tension in the story and the gradual reveal of feelings that were there from the start. The way they boosted the confidence of each other was admirable. And the spice level was definitely hot.

The ending was action packed and kept me on my toes. Definitely the cherry on the cake.

Another Bromberg's poignant story that had her trade mark of emotional, romantic, sexy and backed-up with two tortured main characters that managed to mend each other with love and devotion.

It's the final SIN book, and Ford's story! Ellery and Ford were perfect and Final Proposal was just great!

Ellery and Ford are partners in an attempt to save a hotel, so you get a bit of work place romance, but their story starts with a forced proximity meet cute! Both of them have lots of baggage, and they know they shouldn't mix business with pleasure. Knowing and doing are totally different thankfully! These two are just adorable and they had the cutest nicknames for each other. Normally I don't really care for "babe" or other "pet names" because they feel impersonal, but Ford and Ellery were so creative and cute!

Final Proposal had great banter and lots of heat. I really appreciated the lightness of the story overall. There is some angst in their baggage, but overall, this book was just delightful! Bromberg always delivers and I am so thrilled to have loved this entire series!

  POV: dual 1st
  Tears: no
  Trope: office romance, forced proximity

4.25stars--FINAL PROPOSAL is the third (and final?) instalment in K. Bromberg’s contemporary, adult S.IN. erotic, romance series focusing on the Sharpe Triplets-Callahan, Ford and Ledger. This is billionaire real estate developer Fordham ‘Ford’ Sharpe, and businesswoman Ellery Sinclair’s story line. FINAL PROPOSAL can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Ellery and Ford) using present day, and memories from the past, FINAL PROPOSAL follows in the aftermath of a storm that left two strangers among several others stranded at a small, run down roadside motel with plenty of potential. Fast forward several weeks, where the same two strangers, Ford Sharpe and Ellery Sinclair, would come face to face at a real estate auction, where our couple will battle one another for ownership of the rundown motel. Backing down, Ford all but gives Ellery the opportunity to buy the motel but will make her an offer she can not refuse. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Ford and Ellery, as our couple work together in an effort to rebuild and re-establish a small motel into a part of the Sharpe Signature Collection of hotels and spas.

Ellery Sinclair’s life was spiralling out of control. Having lost both of her parents at an earlier age, raised by her step-father, and having to fight for a position within her extended family, Ellery finds herself wanting to venture on her own only to come up against the man with whom she would fall in love. Ellery struggles with the number of losses in her life, and continues to battle between head and heart as it pertains to falling in love with our story line hero. Fordham Sharpe is also struggling with his place in the family. The release of his late-father’s autobiography pushes Fordham to reconsider all that was and what will never be, believing himself to be the non-entity in a family of successful businessman.

The relationship between Ford and Ellery is one of immediate attraction but Ellery was recently involved with someone else. Keeping his distance was a struggle but Ford’s heart wanted something he knew he shouldn’t want. Ellery Sinclair has lost everyone she has ever loved and refuses to ever again go through the heartache of loss. When Ford proclaims his love, Ellery panics, and pushes our hero out of her life. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include Ford’s brothers Ledger and Callahan, as well as several crew members, and Ellery’s extended family via memories and phone.

FINAL PROPOSAL is an impassioned story of love and loss, acceptance and moving forward. The premise is enjoyable and compelling; the romance is seductive and flirtatious; the characters are broken but struggling to move forward.

Final Proposal is the third and final book in the S.I.N. series. It can be read as a standalone. The author delivers another emotional story. Fordham Sharpe is the last of the triplets to find his happy ever after.

He meets Ellery Sinclair one night after an argument with his brothers. He and Ellery are stranded at a bar due to bad weather. They form a bond over the place, but she is gone when he wakes up in the morning. However, they meet again and form a business partnership.

Ford feels like the invisible son to his now deceased father. He does not like being referred to as "Just Ford", which was written in the book being published about his father's life. He doesn't want to do the press release for this book, which puts him at odds with his brothers.

Ellery doesn't believe in love or happy ever afters. She never reads the epilogues in the romance novels she reads. Everyone she loves has left her in some way. As much as she cares for Ford, she doesn't want to put that curse on him.

There are some short flashback scenes woven throughout the story to help get a better understanding of why Ellery and Ford are the way they are. I'm not big on flashbacks, but these are short enough and handled really well.

I loved that the author used excerpts of her own previous books for the love scenes Ellery is reading on her kindle.

Thank you to the author and Valentine PR for an advanced readers copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Ford Sharpe gets stuck during a tropical storm at a bar. He was trying to escape the family gossip. Ellery Sinclair also is stuck there and figures why share a room with the hot stranger. They both developed a bond that night so when she risks a lot of money on a property Forde has a proposition for her. Can these two find a way to work closely together and keep the lines between business and pleasure in place? This is final book in the series and centers around the middle, reliable Sharpe triplet. Told with flash backs weaved throughout so we get an understanding of Ford and Ellery better. A sweeter and at times emotional romance about two damaged people that find love when they weren’t looking. I also really enjoyed when the brothers would get together and argue like real family too, lol. Told in dual POV

Fordham(Ford) and Ellery open a new line of hotels together after they bid against each other at auction. The catch is that they both are hands-on and live on site. So attraction is hard to ignore in this close proximity. Ford is going thru an identity crisis after a book about his dad comes out, and he is barely mentioned by his 2 twin brothers(they are triplets). They are given much time in the book. What did his dad feel about him? Ellery has lost both patents and a guy who she thought was going to propose but he left to. She is terrified to try to live again.

It’s been a while since I’ve read one of the author’s books, and I’m glad I took another chance on her stories.
The story is full of unexpected moments, great characters and undeniable chemistry.
Ford is a man that has a big heart underneath that stone cold facade. He cares for his mother and his friends more than anything. And will do about anything and everything to make them happy.
When a chance encounter gets him face to face with the woman to whom he almost lost a bid , he needs to get away from her. But fate and his now ex personal assistant have other things in mind.
Workplace romance with lots of banter and that push and pull storm within each chapter, made this for a great read.
I’m looking forward to go back and read the first two books in the series now because I’m curious to know more about these characters and world.

That opening scene was so good. Usually the author establishes connection through body language and *eye contacts*. But here I didn't even need those visual cues. The connection was so obvious in the wordplay, that just the dialogues would have told me they belonged with each other. Xd.

Just okay

This was quick and bingeable, but ultimately a little unfulfilling. Bromberg is a one-click author for me, someone who delivers 5-star reads time and time again. So there was a lot of good stuff going on - some great sexual tension, an engaging meet cute, and a romance that mixes light and sexy moments with deeper, angstier themes. It flew by, was easy to binge, and wraps up the series nicely while still being a standalone. But... there was just something missing for me. It felt like a lot more telling than showing, with VERY short chapters that simply scratched the surface. I could've done without all of the flashbacks, because the time would've been better spent on actually developing the relationship beyond a convenient workplace hookup. It's not quite in 3-star territory for me, but I never even considered a 5-star rating, which was both a surprise and disappointment.

The story follows Ford, the final triplet to meet his match. Stranded in a storm, Ford rides out a truly terrible day at an inn, where he meets a beautiful stranger. Elle and Ford strike up a conversation, and they wait out the storm while connecting on a level neither one has in a long time. The only problem? Elle has an engagement ring on her finger, so the attraction that sparks between them will just have to be ignored. When Ford runs into Elle at a real estate auction a few weeks later, she's ringless and bidding against him on an investment property. The two somehow find themselves investing in the project together, and it's not long before they're spending their days on the renovation. But Elle still has a tan line on her finger, so crossing any other lines seems like a bad, bad idea.

I'm a big fan of Bromberg's writing style, so this was easy to devour in one sitting. The initial meet cute was great, and I could feel the tension. Having Elle be engaged at the start adds an extra kernel of conflict, so I was excited about the potential in the story. Plus, Ford makes a very solid hero, a businessman who isn't afraid of a relationship and treats her like an equal. It was Elle who was tougher to like, because she was running scared the entire time. She's also part of the reason why their relationship felt so lust-based for the majority of the book, and the quick interactions didn't do much to change that. Each chapter was only a handful of pages, so the pacing was super quick and the conversations felt shallow. I really wanted to love it, but I didn't have much of an emotional attachment to the characters. So this ended up being a 3.5-star read for me - a decent end to the series, but not a memorable experience.

Audio note: The audio was great! Jason Clarke is one of my favorites, so the dual narration was enjoyable and very relaxing. The runtime is short enough (8ish hours) to finish in a single day, and it worked well as a workday listen. I wouldn't say that it's a slow burn, but they have to get through the obstacle of Elle's engagement before anything can happen, and there were some sexy, tense moments along the way. Bromberg excels at tension. So this is the kind of easy, steamy read that is fun to binge, and it works well in the audio format.
