Tight Spot is book three in the Nashville Steel series, it could be read as a standalone, but I liked and recommend to not miss any of the previous books.
This was a very good book from start to end, it was truly impossible to put down.
Dawson Butler is a veteran for the Nashville football team, he is in need of a steady relationship in order to clean up his public image and to appease the GM and the owner of the team. He hates relationships, so his only chance is to find a partner for a fake one. He reluctantly calls a famous matchmaker and he meets Hailey Parillo. After an hurtful breakup, Hailey isn't looking for a relationship so she accepts Dawson's proposal.
Dawson and Hailey are so different but perfectly matched. He is a quiet, reserved man, while she is a friendly, extroverted woman.
I really liked how they drive each other crazy just being in the same room, their physical attraction is sizzling hot, but they are also very sweet and caring.
Stacey Lynn has made spicy and steamy a slow burn kind of story. The characters were well rounded and credible. The fake dating trope is one of my favourite, and this one was even more intriguing with the addition of the clause to lose the V-Card to the pact.
