For some reason, I went in thinking I was about to get myself all involved in another angsty romance. But this book absolutely wasn’t. It was a wonderful, semi-slow burn/ slightly insta-love rolled into a sweet story about two amazing souls finding each other. Cardan believes fate brought them together. Now he just has to convince Elena as well.
I was glad to have a break from all the angst I have been putting myself through recently with my reads. It’s always nice to have a swoon worthy book to read periodically to balance out my heart from so much heartache and turmoil. FATED was a beautiful story and a sweet, quick read. 4 Stars!!

Elena has decided she needs to challenge herself. She’s keeping something from the reader which makes it a real page-turner. Even those around her aren’t spilling the beans but there are hints that appear every once in a while. And it’s that secret that may have you thinking about yourself and how you take care of you.
I liked that the author made Elena the centerpiece of this story. It comes out at an interesting time of year – Women’s History Month. It’s not that she’s creating history as far as the scope of the world but by running a family business makes it worth the celebration of being a woman today.
It’s a sweet romance with just a hint of spice. The author leaves it up to the reader to fill in the blanks with whatever level you like your heat at. Although I preferred it just the way it was. One thing that surprised me was to find out that there was an age gap. I certainly never saw or felt one. There was no indication until we got a lot further into the book that I felt an age was mentioned. So, I suppose it depends on what you picture in your mind.
Cardan seems to be a very nice man who knows what he wants right away. The author gives the reader enough information to know his history without letting it get in the way of the flow to her story. Having just enough made it very easy to follow without getting lost in what was going on. It will take a while, but you will see how he earns the title of “hero”.
The only two things that I had small issues with was wanting to hear more on Cardan’s thoughts as to what was going on between him and Elena. And the other was that he has family members that I didn’t get to see enough of and it left me wanting to know if there’s a series out there. I’ll have to get my investigative hat out and see if I can find anything.

And this one is about not being afraid to reach for the stars and going after what you truly desire. It's about learning to Fly even if you are a bit scared to make that leap.

Fated by Susana Mohel is a contemporary small town age gap romance. The book is set up in K. Bromberg's everyday heroes world and can be read as a standalone.
I absolutely love Susana's books! They always leave me with a smile. I loved the insta-connection between Elena (26 yr) and Cardan (38 yr). I really enjoyed that their relationship was slowly built over the course of the book even though they both felt a connection when they first met.
I really liked that Susana had a chapter towards the end of the book from Cardan's point of view. It really brought the story to life to have his insight.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves contemporary romance, small town romances, or age gap romances.

This is a gripping and heartwarming story about taking chances and living life to the fullest. Susana introduces us to Elena and Cardan and immediately you can feel their connection. Elena is a fierce Latina who has decided that it's time to live her life-one day at a time, until, Cardan comes into her life-a man who knows what he wants and does everything to have it. He is not your typical alpha male but does exert his dominance when "necessary" come on ladies we all know this is exactly what we want in a man ;-)
This is a raw and relatable story that is so well written you are literally sucked in and feel with these characters. I had moments of laughter, moments when I needed Elena to open her eyes and see what she was missing, moments when I wanted Cardan to do more to prove things to Elena, and I cried with them. You will absolutely be sucked in too and I can't recommend this story enough.

Elena hits a turning point in life and wants to push her boundaries and experience more. She decides to start with a skydive. There is another diver the same day and in walks the dominant and defined Cardan. He is smitten almost straight away. She is reserved and committed to her business and family. He has emotional issues from his past and is looking for a fresh start.
Susana Mohel has created such a deliciously heartwrenching story of love within the Everyday Heroes world. I adored these two (and they had some pretty heated dirty talking sex ❤️) and I loved their love story. Extra marks for a gorgeous epilogue (and I've emailed for the extended epilogue too). This story felt more than a simple romance. It had bigger emotions and an underlying story of heart.

What a beautiful story! This is my first Susana Mohel experience, and I call it that because that is exactly what this was. She has written an absolutely beautiful story of two people and the emotional connection that they have for each other.
This is the story of Elena and Cardan, with the loss of her mother and some rather frightening news, Elena has had to make some decisions about her life. The decision that was the toughest for her was resisting the man that jumped into her life.
This will be a roller coaster of emotions but it’s a good ride. There is the perfect amount of all the things that make a good romance. This is a beautiful addition to the Everyday Hero World!

This is my first book by Susana Mohel and what a heartbreakingly beautiful story. It's such an emotional read that has you going through all of Elena and Cardan's emotions right along with them. Love, fear, happiness and excitement. Their chemistry is off the charts from the start. Such great character development throughout. There is an age gap, but not so extreme that it would have put me off the story. I definitely recommend this book, especially if you are a fan of KB's everyday heroes series.

This my first book by this author and I found myself not wanting to put it down. It's a really good love story. Loved all the characters in the book. Elena is on a mission to live her life to the fullest when she meets the good-looking Cardon. It's an instant attraction. Cardon is every woman's dream in this story, but he's got to work for it with Elena. There is something going on behind the scenes with her. I highly recommend this book to you if you are looking for an entertaining love story.

She is a master at using the hard parts of life to weave raw stories that are easily relatable and that was no exception here. Elena is a feisty Latina who must learn to not let her fear of dying get in the way of letting the sexy Cardan love and cherish her and having hope in a future. The witty dialogue will also have you laughing out loud!

Carden is one of those characters that you just love! He has that something about him that you want more of... Lena is such a firecracker! I love her sass and attitude.

This is a sweet and swoon worthy read I am glad I picked up. I was not quite sure the type of story I was getting but I loved the characters and storyline. Two characters destined to be together and you get to watch the romance unfold. A great addition to this series and I look forward to more from this author.

This was a cute and unexpected read that made me grin more times than I can count.
‘Fated’ by Susana Mohel is a brand new small town, age gap romance that takes place in K. Bromberg’s EveryDay Heroes World.
This is a feel-good, hot, and beautiful romance with just the perfect amount of mystery and drama to keep you hooked from the front page ‘til the end!
I really loved these characters but most importantly loved the settings of this book, everything described in this book had such a comforting and gorgeous vibe to it, you couldn’t help but feel all cosy and sunny inside.
I had been waiting to read this book since Susana first mentioned it and I can confidently say, it did not disappoint. Not one bit.
Cardan Malone is this handsome, determined and cocky gentleman that could have any soul on this earth tripping over him.
He is what wet dreams are made of. Older, wiser, relentless, a perfect and irresistible man,
Cardan is an awesome character that will shock you endlessly with his unpredictable actions and his soul-touching personality.
Elena is a stubborn, beautiful and incredibly talented heroine that had my heart bleeding out for her from the beginning.
She is a quirky, sassy and amazing woman that likes to challenge everything life throws at her and that doesn't back down for anything.

This is my first book by Susana Mohel, Elena and Carden's story was about how different life perspectives bring two people together, one is fighting for their life while the other is looking for a new beginning. I really enjoyed the storyline, the characters but most of it the life lesson behind it all. Such an emotional story where love, fate, destiny, fear and simply jumping to do things you don't always think was possible, will have you reading the story in no time. Very sweet and full of good quotes and phrases that you might want to highlight. Brilliant emotional connection between the characters, and a story that got to me to my heart and soul when I wasn't expecting it.

Fated is a sweet slow burn with a hint of Insta love following Carden & Elena, two lost souls who meet by chance and find that they were never really lost, just searching for each other!!
The book mainly features Elena’s POV, showcasing her steady life working her family’s orchard near Sunnyville CA. She’s smart, kind, and hard working. Elena is a romantic at heart and a dreamer but when fate deals her an unthinkable card she becomes determined to live her life without attachments and on adrenaline
Carden is new the Sunnyville area opening a mechanic shop when a chance encounter throws Elena into his path. Carden is a man who knows what he wants and go’s for it, so Elena throws him for a loop when she wants a no strong attached relationship.
Each time they meet is fate & Carden is determined to show Elena that their meetings were not on accident and that they’re meant for each other.
I was expecting this to be an angsty read, but it was more of a slow burn (which I love) with a more serious tone to it. I loved how fiery Elena was but wanted to say “listen up girl, get your head out of your ass & go get this man”.
I understood her fears a lot but was glad she had Carden to bring out the bravery in her. He was charming, witty & absolutely too good to be true.
So Be warned ladies, Susana writes her men to perfection, they’re romantic, patient & sex on a stick. You’ll be swooning😉
Overall this was an incredibly sweet and quick read, I read it all in one sitting!

Each time they meet is fate & Carden is determined to show Elena that their meetings were not on accident and that they’re meant for each other.
I was expecting this to be an angsty read, but it was more of a slow burn (which I love) with a more serious tone to it. I loved how fiery Elena was but wanted to say “listen up girl, get your head out of your ass & go get this man”.
I understood her fears a lot but was glad she had Carden to bring out the bravery in her. He was charming, witty & absolutely too good to be true.
So Be warned ladies, Susana writes her men to perfection, they’re romantic, patient & sex on a stick. You’ll be swooning😉
Overall this was an incredibly sweet and quick read, I read it all in one sitting!

Fated talks about the life of Lena or Elena who tries to live to the fullest due to a news that will change the perspective of her life. After going in search of adventure she meets the green-eyed, tall, attractive and super hot boy Cardan who will come to give a 360 degree turn in Elena's life.
Fated is full of adventure, hope and faith. It's a book that you will enjoy in the blink of an eye.

Set in the KB Everyday Hero world this new story from Ms. Mohel is just as fantastic as her standalones!
This is the story of Cardan and Elena, their whirlwind romance with a hint of mystery. This story is going to keep you turning the pages until the very end.
Elena is a spicy Latina with family and friends that make up her whole world. When life throws her a curveball, she decides to live for each day, do something that scares her and make everyday an adventure. I really enjoyed the Latino element in this story, the family strength and her inner strength.

Fated is definitely a very sweet read in the grand scheme of things, and I'm seriously grateful for it since sometimes I just need a break from books with all the heavy in them. It's crazy how the talented Susana Mohel could totally roll a slow burn with an insta situation so seamlessly so it's not too slow or too fast. I know that may sound confusing but I don't know how else to get my point across without spoilers LOL! Elena is all about the adventure in life (it's a new thing) but she never saw a super sexy, and sweet mechanic in Carden coming. They hook up with serious heat, but there's a connection that Elena doesn't want to have because she's decided she's going to live her life one day at time, so she's got some blinders on when it comes to love and/or her person being Carden. There's a lot of heart, beauty, humor, and sweet with heat in this story so y'all don't want to miss out! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

So when Cardan begins heavily pursuing the fiery mango farmer she tries very hard to resist and does everything to push him away. Her dad, her best friend, even her 4 brothers conspire to get her to live, not just adventures, but take a chance on love. Will the strong - willed Elena listen and take the heart that Cardan Malone is eagerly giving her? Give me more Elena and Cardan!! As stubborn as she was, these two gave me all the feels. Cardan was all Alpha/Cinnamon Roll/BDE, let me just love you and take care of you all while I keep you with your head in the clouds from euphoria!!

Fated is a story that holds you captive to the pages and the words of Elena and Cardan's story. Their story touches your heart and soul all in the blink of an eye. Broken hearts and fated meetings have this pair on a roller coaster ride of adventure and happiness. Cardan is a man with ambitions and one chance meeting has him enamoured with Elena and knowing that she holds the key to his heart and his future. Elena is living one day at a time and doesn't want to look forward to the future but Cardan wants to take hold and show her that he can mend her broken heart. Their story is passionate, witty, steamy, heartfelt and one that will grip hard and will not let go. These two made my heart pound and my pulse race as fate took charge and showed them that taking a chance is worth all the risks.

Elena lost her mom recently and now she's at a crossroads with her own life. She is about to live it to the fullest no matter what. She is a family woman who will do whatever it takes to make sure her dad and siblings are taken care of. She runs a mango orchard and dips into different creations with them. Which sounded really good. When she meets Cardan she doesn't realize her life is about to change and for her, it can't. She has it planned out and there is no future. Cardan holy hotness that he is. He's an owner and his story is a mystery. When he comes to a small town and meets Elena well his life changes and he will do whatever it takes to win her over. Now that he knows her secret can he be with her or walk away?

Es un libro de 187 páginas, muy ligero, divertido, rápido de leer que te embarcará en una historia de superación a las malas y muchos mangos🥭.

This is a wonderful addition to this amazing series and is Cardan and Elena’s journey. Elena is determined to live her life to the fullest, while Cardan knows what he wants and will pull all the stops to get it. Cardan believes that fate brought Elena into his life as his soulmate and they are destined to be together, now he just needs to convince her of that fact. This is a beautifully written story which is an emotional roller coaster, and is heartwarming, entertaining, and a poignant love story which has engaging and realistic characters, and this tale pulls at the heartstrings throughout. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Fated is a heartwaming story about taking chances and living life to the full. It is told in a single first person POV. it is a small town, age gap romance story.
Elena meets Cardan when she goes skydiving and she is instantly smitten. She's a fiesty latina who won't give in easily and Cardan is a bossy mechanic who wont take no for an answer. They have an amazing chemistry and I loved reading their rollercoaster journey. The side characters are great, i particularly loved Destinee, Elena's best friend, she should have book of her own.
Susanna is a new to me author and I wasn't disappointed. I couldn't put this book down, and I'm looking forward to reading more from her.
