Look, Don’t Touch by Drew Jordan just made my dark forbidden romance loving heart ridiculously happy! Daddy Armani is what book boyfriend dreams are made of! This dark mafia romance doesn’t toe the lines. It just obliterated all. Armani Virtue is dangerous, ruthless, arrogant, dominating and over the top alpha antihero. Quinn is completely opposite..sweet, adorable but with a hidden fire. It was filthy. It was taboo. It was deviant. It was reckless. Did I tell you that Quinn planned to revenge seduce her cheating psycho ex husband's mafia father but ended up marrying him as a payout..Yup that should make you one click it right away!

This book has triggers like violence, cheating( not between Armani and Quinn), dubcon and some others so please read carefully. The age gap is a big one so keep that in mind. You really need to keep your morality shoes outside if you need to enjoy the story. Because Armani really doesn't have any limits. He is a dark violent twisted man who does whatever he wants and without any remorse. There is no love lost between him and his deranged son. And initially he just wanted to claim and own Quinn and make her his plaything. She is famous as a living doll online persona and that is something fascinating for Armani. She is sweet and innocent and nauve and he wants to destroy it.But he also appreciates the hard working, smart and sassy Quinn. It is hard for him to acknowledge feelings. He understands dominance. Control over her body and soul. He is extremely possessive and overtly controlling..to the point where you would hate him. He makes some drastic moves because he can. It was crazy. Just crazy. And the crazier part? I am obsessed with him. It was super hot. It's so sexy that you definitely need alone time. It has BDSM and kinks and power plays..and I absolutely loved the dirty debauchery. Quinn desperately wanted to be loved. She actually has a danger loving kink craving dark part that was unleashed by Armani. The sweet Quinn transforms to a fierce one at the end. At first, Armani said he cannot be the guy to love her. And he did hurt her while trying to consume her. But every antihero finally falls. And he didn't stop until he has fallen hard. I cannot wait to read more from the author!

Has there ever been a book that you loved so much and kept you on edge that you managed to read in a negative amount of time?
Well, this happened to me precisely with "Look, Don't Touch"! I can only tell you that this is a uniquely good and great story, in which until the end I was just not sure what was happening and who, who was.
🐍”Look, Don't Touch" brings together Dark Romance, Mafia Romance, Age-Gape, Arrange Marriage and so many different and unique highlights.
🫦Can a woman forgive lying and cheating, hmm, Nope. And what is her move. She goes to the offender's worst enemy, namely his father. And from here the story gets so dizzying that it just blew me away.
🥀
Quinn - a young, beautiful and of course deceived woman who seeks revenge for her wounded soul.
Aristotle - The cheating ex-husband who is so deranged as to be brilliant in his madness.
Armani- manipulative, cruel, brilliant, handsome, sexy and everything you can think of and more. This is him.
🥀
The story is unique and great and supreme. This to me is a story I flew through. Starting it I was not prepared for its uniqueness. In it you will find, passion, fear, crazy exes, awesome alpha males and a crazy good story that I was able to enjoy.
🥳Happy birthday to Look, Don't Touch. I can say a huge "Thank you" to the author for being able to recreate the story so beautifully. The tension is on until the last page because we can't be sure who will win. Will the good be a little cruel or will it succeed in overpowering the enemy.

I was intrigued by the sample of this book and thought I was going to love the book so I bought it at full price, something that is rare for me to do. Unfortunately, the book ended up being kind of a mess. I had no issues with any of the dark content (including the one punishment most people will take issue with) but the writing felt so disjointed and lacking in follow through/development of several of the actual very good or interesting ideas. And I never felt the emotional connection (or heat, despite the steamy scenes) of the main couple. It's hard to explain all the various things that irritated me, so that will have to do, but I will also add I highlighted over 40 outright errors or inconsistencies and another 60-70 sentences with poor sentence structure or incorrect comma usage, for those readers this kind of thing matters to.

I really enjoyed this dark mafia read. It wasn't quite what I was expecting but I really loved Daddy Armani and it did hit what I was looking for (getting revenge with an ex's dad). This was a good dark romance.

Dark Mafia/Taboo Romance

Look Don’t Touch was full of danger, suspense and steamy moments. Really enjoyed it!

Quinn and Armani’s relationship may start out as an agreement, but turns into so much more. It maybe forbidden and dangerous, but they can’t seem to fight their feelings for one another.

This is my first book by this author and looking forward to reading more.

Oh wow! This story had such a tangled web of characters yet it was intriguing and I found it hard to put it down.

Fair warning… if you like the lead female character calling the lead male character “Daddy” then this is the book for you, if you don’t… it wasn’t over the top. Being married to someone you don’t really know at all would be devastating and I truly felt sorry for Quinn. Then getting involved with his father? That was some mixed-up juju as well. I didn’t mind Armani, he definitely did know who he was, as he described himself as aggressive, demanding, powerful, and refused to bend to anyone’s will—all true. I actually felt Quinn was really good for him.

I liked Quinn, she might have been a tad naive, and she freely admitted that herself, but she was so honest and found herself playing in the ‘big boys’ club without a clue of the rules. She certainly handled things better than I would have at twenty-one. Wanting to explore more of her sexuality she trusted Armani to lead her, and boy does he ever. There were plenty of steamy scenes—for her education, we shall say! 😉

The suspense element was terrific, at times I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat with anticipation of what would happen. This whole story was quite unpredictable in many ways and I enjoyed that aspect. There was no shortage of drama as well, for the start of the taboo relationship, and that truly is just the tip of the iceberg. I will admit with the mafia connection, the details were a bit limited and I am sure it was done on purpose but I floundered a bit trying to really grasp what was going on.

This is the first book by this author that I have read but I am definitely going to read more of her stories.

This is a forbidden mafia romance. Quinn is a girl who has been really hurt by an ex who was just a liar and really awful in the end. Now she is out for revenge. To get that revenge she goes to someone who hates him more than she does. His enemy just so happens to be his own father Armani Virtue. She has to strike a bargain to get him to help her. He needs a wife and a child and she is the perfect little bride for him in his eyes. Plus there is no love loss between him and his son, so it is a big old win all the way around for him. He is a man that is really aggressive, super demanding, rich as all get out, super powerful and he will never ever bend to anyone's will. However when he agrees to help Quinn with her revenge he meets the one woman in the world that is really good for him. Quinn is a bit naive at times but she sure does own that about herself. She finds herself playing with the big dogs at times, so to speak. All the while having not a clue what the rules are. However her honesty is so refreshing. I love the way she trusted Armani and was able to explore things in life she wanted to explore and he does love the world Daddy. There is suspense in this book that keeps you on your toes. There are things that go on in this book you will never see coming. If you want a standalone forbidden romance then this is the book for you.

I have mixed feelings about this book. While I thought the suspense and plot twists were good, keeping me guessing what would happen next and wanting to know what happens, I wasn’t completely sold on the romance of our main couple. Certainly there were times when you could see they cared for each other, with Armani wanting to provide for Quinn as well as encouraging her to seek her truth and Quinn breaking down Armani’s walls with her sassiness and innocence, surprising him and making him curious, but they also didn’t seem to trust each other completely or respect each other until perhaps the last few pages of the story. Armani, for example, says he is always controlled but makes an impulsive decision which seems to be brushed over and one I wouldn’t want to see from the romantic lead where the female lead is concerned even if he is morally grey/an anti-hero and he continues to test Quinn or not communicate everything, forcing Quinn to feel like he doesn’t trust her. He is definitely not one who would apologize. Quinn herself seems to fall easily for Armani despite his words and actions towards her and while he does help her in some ways, I wasn’t able to feel that romantic tension or connection fully between them to understand her growing feelings for him. I also thought getting some background on Armani should have come a little earlier in the book to support why Quinn would like him or give us a better understanding of his character and the dynamic with his son, Aristotle. I would also like to have gotten more background on the mafia side, as they are only referred to the organization but we don’t get to see what Armani’s role really is or much mafia action. I’m also wondering why Quinn didn’t bat an eye when Aristotle mentioned some of the seedier business to her given she wasn’t involved in that life style. That said, the story was interesting enough to keep me reading since I wanted to see how everything would be resolved between Quinn, Armani, and Aristotle. We also seem get a hint at a future story concerning Armani’s colleague and Quinn’s best friend.

Not for me

I didn’t love this but it was well written and I liked the concept. I love a good revenge story and an MMC that’s kind of a jerk but I hated Armani.

SPOILERS
After he makes her marry him he gets her all worked up at his k!nk club, won’t have smex with her then makes her wait in the room while he goes and has smex with a “wh0re” as he calls it. Now, I know he doesn’t have feelings for her or anything at the beginning and this marriage was all about revenge but the fact that he slept with someone else on their wedding night made it so I couldn’t connect with him at all. I just kept thinking about that the whole time I was reading the book. I was interested in the story enough that I did keep reading because I was mostly interested in what Nash was all about, he was an interesting but crazy character but I did skip some chapters. I was hoping that the FMC would grow a spine because the beginning was all about her getting revenge on her ex and I thought she was going to be tough but she was actually kind of sad and pathetic but she just did everything that Armani told her to do and he was such a d!ck! He humiliated her and she slapped him so he sent her back to her apartment for his bodyguard to grape her but when she gets there she’s kidnapped. When he finally finds her he does take care of her as far as cleaning her then he just leaves her for days for other people to watch her during her recovery. I guess cause he feels guilty because it is his fault she was hurt. I didn’t feel like they had an emotional connection at all, just physical. There were more things that he did that were awful but those are the ones that bothered me the most. If you like irredeemable a holes who sleeps with someone else on his wedding night and has a Daddy kink, then you might like this.

A lot of action and suspense going on in the book..
It’s fast paced and exciting.
Armani and Quinn should be a no no together. Taboo and forbidden.
But their instalust for each other is the driving factor. It overrides everything.
I always love a silver fox and Armani is right up there.
He leans towards the dark side. He’s domineering, possessive and pure alpha.
And Quinn is his total opposite. She’s sweet and on the naive side.
But she still has sass to her.
I just have to say in all the books I’ve read, which is many, I’ve never come across what she does as a living. Her job is unique and original. I liked that one side of her is sweet and then there’s a different
side when she’s working. It’s like her inner feelings and her true self come out of hiding.
I liked the story and the premise of the book.
But for some reason I could not feel that she and Armani had a real relationship or bond.
They definitely have a physical attraction to one another. And that is sizzling hot!
I felt that the deeper bond was lacking.
I enjoyed reading the book and I liked the unique aspects in it.

This was... I don't know.. Armani was REALLY hard to like.. and by that, I mean I didn't like him 95% of the time. And especially after THAT night where he ordered that special kind of punishment for Quinn.. Sorry but that is not something a man in love would want for his wife/girl. He vowed to protect her (even before he fell in love with her) and that's not how you protect your woman (or maybe daughter?). And the fact that it was shoved under the carpet as if it never happened, and she was still in love with him after what he had ordered... I'm sorry but that's not something you get over so easily. The guy was NOT redeemable. Even though he regretted his choice afterwards... He did not apologize to her for that. They didn't even talk about it. It wasn't even an afterthought. Like, WTF seriously?? Even though nothing happened (only because something ELSE happened), what if it HAD happened?? Was she going to forgive Armani for that? Is it even something you can ever forgive? Or forget? Can you imagine the mental and physical damage after THAT? At the hands of your husband's orders nonetheless?

Labeled as a Dark Romance, I was expecting it to be darker, especially when considering some of the dark romances circulating right now. But that’s not to say there isn’t darkness in this book. Drew Jordan does create good suspense and some seedy characters with little to no morals. However, the story was a little slow, Look, Don’t Touch, defines the term Slow Burn. It felt like it was talking a long time for Armani to loosen up and for Quinn to wise up. It felt as though she couldn’t grasp that her new husband was a mafia king. I also felt a bit of whiplash from Armani, as his moods would switch from being pleased with Quinn then quickly angry.

Overall, I did enjoy the book, I found it difficult to put down because I wanted to figure out the mystery and to see Armani and Quinn find their happiness. If you are a fan of Age Gap or Mafia romance, I would recommend Look, Don’t Touch!

Angry and hurt after finding out her husband's been lying about his identity and cheating Quinn is desperate for revenge and who better to help her exact revenge......the man be hates most his father Armani.
Since she's never met her father in law shes expecting him to be a old crotchety man but she's completely shocked when she comes face to face with the man himself self. What she didn't know is that exacting revenge on her ex-husband was like playing a game without knowing the rules and the only person that has the ability to save her is Amarni.
I really enjoyed this book but I don't want to say to much to give away the story because I think it'll be a better experience going in blind but I loved the writing and I loved everything this book had to offer, characters you couldn't help but fall love in love with ,a storyline that's easy to follow but also keeps you on your toes wondering what'll happen next and also amazing plot twists that I didn't see coming.

This is a new author to me. I must say wow this was an intriguing story that kept me glued to my tablet especially towards the end. Quinn is a naive woman who was scored when she found out that the man she married who wasn't who he said he was. Between different identities, cheating and who knows what else. But instead of just divorcing him and walking away she plots revenge that has her turning to his dad and now she finds herself in the middle of these two and their issues. I must say there is twist in this story that I did not see coming and then wonder if it was all an act or not. Things that transpire and has you guessing who can you trust, who is lying, who is betraying who. I liked this story and look forward to reading more from this author.

This is my first read by this author, and I must say that I quite enjoyed the storyline and the characters. It is an age gap, instalust romance between Quinn and Armani. These two different but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. What starts out as a marriage of convenience turns into something more. It is a thrill ride with drama and steam, danger and suspense, sexual tension and chemistry, and appealing secondary characters to keep the reader interested. An engaging page turner.

Look, Don't Touch is not my first book from Drew Jordan. I loved her Crash series so I was really looking forward to this book. And she did not disappoint. Everything about this book had me wanting to read it. Age gap, mafia, ex's father.

Armani and Quinn start out as a marriage of convenience to something more. Quinn wants to use Armani for revenge on his son, Nash and Armani wants an heir. Through everything Armani learns how to love. He goes from this big, bad mafia boss with no feelings to an adoration for Quinn.

I was hooked from start to finish. I highly recommend this book to anyone.

This is one forbidden mafia romance that brings to mind be careful what you wish for because it could have some unforeseen consequences. Quinn is a young woman who wanted to leave her hometown to live in the big city but things do not go according to plan and meets Nash. For Quinn, Nash hung the moon and married him but she discovers that all is not as it seems. What is a woman to do? Devise a way to get revenge on the love of her life. This storyline takes readers on a wild ride and has Quinn growing up pretty quickly. This is a tangled web that the author weaved and I am looking forward to more.

Quinn and Armani, here's a couple who technically never have been together. Armani is Quinn's father-in-law and a billionaire mafia boss. But Quinn's husband, Armani's son, cheats, lies and hurts Quinn, so who better to go to so she can teach her ex-husband a lesson than his estranged father?

Revenge they say is best served cold, but Quinn and Armani are about as far away from cold as you can get. For Quinn the price of revenge is marriage to Armani and give him a child. Sounds easy? Quinn's rather naive, she's really not prepared for a man like Armani, who is not just handsome and sexy but controlling and dark aswell.

Strap yourself in for the roller coaster ride of your life.

I would have to give this book a 1 out of 5- star rating. I did not enjoy this book as much as I thought I would when I read the back at the beginning. Armani the main male character was an all-around a**hole from almost the beginning of the book it felt like he wanted to possess and treat Quinn the main female character like a dog. I did not like it one bit. While Quinn dressed up and did makeup on herself to look like dolls, that to me was creepy. Those reasons ruined the whole book for me if I am being honest. It felt degrading what Armani did and weird what Quinn would do... So for those reasons, I cannot recommend this book.

Not sure how I feel about this book still. Was the smex scenes great? Yes. But , n no spoilers so I'm wording it the way iam for a reason, what he did to her in my opinion was unforgivable especially since he claims later to love her u dont do that to someone u love. U dont even do that to someone u like. Idk n he was never sorry for what he did either. Also what's up with the doll stuff was weird. He called her baby doll or doll baby 7 thousand times was weird. Course not exactly 7k but felt like it. If u like a daddy romance n age gap well it was good for that but idk the doll baby n baby doll talk was really weird.

Quinn divorces her ex after finding out he is cheating on her, and wanting vengeance she goes after his father Armani, who is a billionaire mafia boss, but he has his own conditions. The chemistry between these two is combustible and undeniable, and Quinn brings love into Armani’s life. This is a well written story which is a dark, action packed, emotional roller coaster, with revenge, lies, twists, arranged marriage, intrigue, and love, which leads to a steamy and addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I don’t even know what to say. I love Quinn and Armani’s story while these two definitely started out unconventionally the feelings they developed for one another are very real and powerful. These two were perfect for one another even if they didn’t know it. This book captivated me from the very beginning pages and I could not put it down. The fire and heat between these two will not only melt your kindle but your panties as well. Arman’s possessiveness and need to protect Quinn gives me so much life. This is a new to me author and I am really looking forward to what comes out next!

Mafia
Marriage of convenience
Forbidden romance
Age gap
Daddy Kink

Quinn is out for revenge against her lying and cheating ex. The best way is to pretend to sleep with his old father and let him find out. Except…. His father is Armani

Armani, ruthless businessman, manipulative and not the old man, Quinn was expecting.
He pulls her into a situation she was not expecting or prepared for.

The story offers a lot. Urge is plenty of drama from inside and outside. Passion, suspense, possessive hero, and a woman to bring him to his cruel knees.

This book right here is supreme example of marriage of convince, it's one of my favorite tropes and drew Jorden just gave me fabulous book to enjoy. This book made me jump, cry and scream with twisty things and the chemistry between the Quin and Aramni is over the top good. I totally enjoy the book and it was great that made me pull out of my slump.

Wow, what a ride to say the least. Just when you think you know everything, something else happens. This is actually the first book I read from this author and it certainly didn't disappoint - especially if you like mafia type romances. This is the story of Quinn who divorces Armani's son - Nash. When she thinks she's going to get back at him with Armani himself. The story takes off from there - so hold on! I received an ARC copy.

wow

This story kept me on edge the whole time . I really like Armani and Quinn but I won’t lie there were plenty of times I was questioning whether we could trust him. Nash/ whatever is nuts or was he. I am still wondering that . Like that is still the question . This story was filled with steam , age gap romance , mafia romance and some dark romance in there too. It has all the best stuff we all love . I would definitely pick it up .

I enjoyed the dark side of this story, but I also felt like I needed more clarity regarding Nash's motives. Quinn would have been a sight to see with her anime eyes and ability to change her appearance. I found it interesting to watch Armani evolve throughout the story from a distrustful man to falling in love with his very young wife.

I read and reviewed a copy of this book.
